I only realized this but this never became a argument till she arrived in ai wars. Yea it's bait but it's also just seeing this on every post on there. And again I'm probably overthinking but I'm just saying

She probably didn’t do any research on the characters, and just used them to fit her narrative.
I don’t know a lot about the second and third characters.

But I know a lot about warhammer40k and this reinforces my point of that she’s just using them and then bending them to fit her narrative.

If you look up anything about warhammer40k they are very anti AI because I the setting they went through a thing were AI almost wiped out the human race.
That’s a very simplified version, so I don’t lore dumb.

Like all she’s doing is making herself look stupid.

Even if I were to join a group of Amish people, to abandon all technology and join their religion, they'd still find something to moan about.

Same if I were to move into a forest, axe down mighty trees, build a cottage, find a good spot to hunt game as well as grow cattle and then post on a library computer how I am completely off the grid, they'd still find something to complain about.

Also a lot of these things are simply unrealistic. Pretty impossible to find land to build on, since apparently all land is owned by either rich individuals or the government.

Same goes for game. Realistically, one would need to move into middle of nowhere, before agriculture, owning cattle or hunting game becomes anywhere a realistic way to sustain oneself.

Of course they don't see the stupidity of this, because they think these are actual valid comparisons. Also I think that this person is very young.

Long story short, a lot of things suggested are unrealistic and would make living unrealistically hard.

So some premium ragebait here.

a little bit of context. Research into negatives of AI got a lot of backlash from these people. They were asking these exact same questions and making these exact same claims.

So, what do you think will happen?

A: I get honest responses like: "Oh yeah, those are some very good points!"

B: I get dishonest responses like: "It's different", "Typical luddite, this was done in a university, university is filled with smart people."

I gravitate towards B. I might make a separate post or just update in the comments what happened with this.

This has to be one of the most pathetic examples of performative victimhood I have ever seen.

The person behind this post QUADRUPLED-DOWN when I confronted them about it recently. Apparently, having your hobby disliked is the same as being made a slave due to your skin color.

So I engaged with her maybe over a year, yeah I know. Banging my head against a brick wall would've been more productive.

So around the time Team Salvato makes their stance on AI clear and informs people they don't want their works to be put through AI and these people just double down doing it even harder. Yes, even if they mentioned something about profiting off of it, that's enough of a clue that they don't want their works ran through AI.

I had just started calling them anti-consent because of this, making other arguments on top of this.

Then other artists start depicting these people getting sacrificed or whatever, so she changes her stance from "you don't put other peoples' work through AI" to "well, they are morally bankrupt, because I said so, so I can put their works through AI."

So, I guess she finally had enough of me calling her and others like her on stuff like this and blocked me.

Mind you, there were no personal attacks or harassment. Everything happened in public forums.

So yeah. She wants "honest discussions", she can unblock people who disagree with her. That's how you know she lies, because she blocks honest criticism, because it just happened to hurt her feefees a bit.

She is well within her rights to do that, but she doesn't get the right to act like she's open to honest discussions given her attitude and behavior.
