Yesterday I finished season 5 episode 8, y'all know what that means. I couldn't get myself to keep watching and now that I have time today, I can't convince myself again. I just feel the urge to quit the show. I know Elisabeth will make it her life's mission to make me feel miserable even more, I loved Tom more than any other character and don't see a reason to keep watching. Can anyone tell me if it's worth it to finish it and how insufferable will Elisabeth be and for how long? Thanks in advance

When Liz talking to Katarina about Agnes likes princess toys “isn’t woke”, or when Liz and Red attended the dinning-in-the-dark, the cook greeted them “ladies, gentlemen, non-binary pals”. Wtf? I’m at the end of S7 right now and really hope they’d stop that nonsense in the later seasons.

I am seriously pissed that I devoted so many of my waking hours to this paean to lazy writing. I was hoping to find a different and improved dynamic after Liz Keen’s departure, but sadly, the writers had other ideas. Pritchard’s dynamic with Ressler was never fully explored beyond the most blasé and James Spader certainly did not deserve that ignominious end. Never have I been this disappointed in a TV series.* 🤦🏽‍♂️ Ah well.
*ETA: other than that Mother of All Disappointments, “Lost”, of course.

I just started season 8 and I have to say from last 2 seasons Elizabeth Keen has been unbearable for me. I know she dies in s8 although I don't know when. I know it sounds a little brutal but honestly I wouldn't mind her being dead. I was so sad when I believed she had died the first time but now she is just too annoying. Everytime I see her on the screen she is whining, complaining, getting emotionally manipulated, emotionally manipulating someone or getting someone killed or getting them in danger and acting as if it wasn't her fault and Reddington's for not telling her the secrets. OMG am I supposed to feel sad for you. Poor you. You lost puppy. Don't know who you are. Just looking for answers and getting people killed. Just die already.

How did this show get so off track in the last 3 or 4 seasons? It’s wondered off into a completely different show that has nothing to do with tracking down people who are named on the Blacklist! It’s ending really lame!

this is my first time watching the show but I already know the ending so im fine with being spoiled. The popular theory is that Raymond is Katarina but doesnt Katarinas existence prove the opposite? Or is there just another twist incoming?

...... And I got to say, I am bored. I have binged all previous seasons in record time. I find myself not caring at all about this storyline, with Elizabeth's "mother". Tell me it gets better....

Do we have something equivalent now? Sounds like a tempest in a teapot. I've rooted both my fones, and thought having a Blacklist Crime Phone would be fun.
