Game night: Bowling and others

Interest check:
Anyone up for a bowling game this Saturday?

Venue: Megamall
Time: 5pm onwards

No definite plans yet 😅 gusto ko lang magbowling. I’m from the East so sana yung within my area. May billiards and pingpong tables din so we can have other games after.

About me:
46-F-Pasig/Taytay

Bowling:
I learned bowling nung college as my first PE class (duck pins pa yun). 😅 Minsan nakakastrike, minsan kumakanal.

Billiards:
Marunong tumira kahit paano, pero di malakas.

Pingpong:
Zero skills

Disclaimer:
I didn’t use the Tita for Tito flair which means this is not a date invite. If maraming interested, we can go for a friendly group game.

EDITED:
SM Bowling doesn’t accept reservations. I’m looking at Studio 300 in Pioneer or Bridgetowne. Heads-up: Medyo may kamahalan. Max of 5 users per lane and min 2 hrs ang reservation. Papatak 900 - 1300 per pax for a group of 5 (Bridgetowne and Pioneer rates respectively).

Please consider this if you’re signing up as I might need to ask for advance payment to reserve. :)

Of slow Mondays and the uncomfortable truth about dating…

This movie was such a wake-up call no? Tbh, I never really understood it when I first watched it. I found it really… boring, mostly because I couldn’t relate to any of it.

Now, on my nth rewatch, it has become my go-to movie whenever I’m in one of those moments where I need a little reminder to stop overthinking and just accept things for what they are.

And what gets me is how, despite being from 2009, so much of it still feels ridiculously relatable today. Funny how a movie can mean absolutely nothing to you at one point in your life, and then suddenly hit completely differently years later.

And I know most of us here can probably relate to at least some of what this movie is trying to say. Sometimes we get so caught up holding on to possibilities that we overlook the simplest and obvious answer right in front of us.

He/she may not be THAT into you. And that’s okay :))

trying to find new friends

hi I'm 37F and recently I just cut off my long term friends. It had been a very long time na din since I felt like I don't belong to the group anymore. So I slowly distanced myself. One finally approached me after 2months of going silent and I spoke up, I thought it was going to help but it turned out to be more chaotic .

Anywaysss, have you gone through the same? I heard that when we grow older, our circle just becomes smaller. Masama lang dito, narealize ko din na wala pala akong best friend. Like pinaka close na best friend. So parang friendless ako now. Haha!

Haba ng kwento hahahaha but currently trying to find someone na naghahanap din ng kadaldalan!

About Me:

I'm 37F, 5'4 in height. Not chubby not thin, ewan ko ano tawag sa body type ko. Working professionally. Loves to watch romcom movies. Loves taking long walks. I also like driving around! Diesel lang sasakyan kaya lately limited lang driving time.

If you wanna talk, maybe you can send an intro yourself!

Medyo hoping ako na I can meet mature people here. Dami kasi bata nagmemessage saken sa mga r4r posts 🥲

PS. if di na nakareply nakatulog na ako 🤣😅 bukas na lang po hehehe

Reddit Did It (Just Not the Way I Expected)

Warning: Long post ahead.

I’m posting this here as my final way of letting go. This is an open farewell letter.

-------------‐---------------

Dear Bear,

I’m writing this from a place of deep honesty—not to restart anything, but because looking back at how everything started—from that random post about "baby boy" to months of making each other a daily habit—I want you to know that my intent was always genuine. It wasn't even about chasing some grand romance; I just truly, deeply wanted to get to know you.

In the middle of my exhausting days and endless rants, you became my safe space. You listened with patience, gave me words of encouragement when I needed them most, and somehow made the weight of everything feel a little lighter. I’ll honestly miss sharing random Reddit posts with you, the playful teases, and those light NSFW banter that always brought a smile to my face. Those moments felt special because they came with real comfort, warmth, and laughter—without ever crossing lines or making things uncomfortable. You became a constant in my life, and losing that daily connection really leaves a heavy, quiet space.

I always thought I’d look back one day and say "Reddit did it"—that it gave me someone who truly understood me. But maybe Reddit still did its magic, just in a way I didn't expect: by giving me the courage to choose my own peace, to set boundaries, and to hold my head high even when it hurts to walk away.

Thank you for every shared laugh, every patient minute, and for being my quiet comfort for months. I pray with all my heart for healing and strength for your mama, and that you find the peace and clarity you need for yourself.

Take good care of yourself out there.

Goodbye, Bear—my favourite Reddit notification.🐻🐰

39F and realizing what I actually want or need out of connection

As I approach 40, I have been reflecting a lot on how I view relationships. Growing up, I never had that classic fairytale dream. I never pictured a big wedding or a prince. My idea of romance was always much simpler, like someone picking me up after class, grabbing food, going to the movies, and just having a real partner.

Over the years, dating has gotten harder. I have a very low tolerance for red flags or things that turn me off physically or personality wise. Having lived with an ex before, I already know that cohabitating again is not something I particularly care for. I am quick to step away because I refuse to settle for things I do not like.

Recently, I realized my bar for what brings me comfort has shifted. I have come to value what some might call the basics, which is consistent reciprocation. Having someone who checks in on me, replies, listens, and says good morning or good night. It does not even need to be a deep or life changing conversation, just a steady presence.

People say getting older makes you want to stay in, but I still love going out. I love cooking, baking bread, and taking my dog out, but I hate doing things alone. I do not really relate to people who enjoy dating themselves. When I experience something fun or delicious, I want to share that joy and talk about it right then and there. I am naturally outgoing and expressive, so I love sharing stories.

I have dated talkative men before, but it usually ended up being two people just talking over each other. I actually find myself drawn to quieter, more grounded guys, as long as they are responsive and engage when I talk or text. I know I still want to date and find my person, someone who accepts my talkative nature and enjoys sharing everyday moments with me.

If any of this resonates with you and you are looking for that same kind of steady, real connection, feel free to send me a message or reach out. I would love to connect and see where things go.

40 [F4M] Looking for my person

Curly-haired, plus-size book lover who enjoys coffee, matcha, cafés, K-pop, and spending way too much time on my Switch.

I’m looking for something genuine—a relationship with someone consistent, kind, funny, and emotionally mature. Someone older than me who can hold a conversation, communicate well, and wants a person to share the everyday moments with.

I’m asexual, so emotional connection, trust, affection, and companionship matter a lot to me.

Currently working on myself too—walking, going to the gym, and recently completed my first 3K! 🥹

If you’re looking for something real and lasting, send me an intro. Tell me a little about yourself. ☕
