Bed weather thoughts.

postcard from TJ Monterde’s Bituin Sessions habang nakatitig sa ulan, at honestly, kailangan ko ’yung reminder ngayon.

Navigating love and dating in our 30s can get so exhausting—lalo na when you’re looking for something genuine and intentional amidst all the low-effort interactions. But moments like this are a good reset.

Para sa ating lahat na naghihintay, napapagod, pero umaasa pa rin: kung para sa’yo, darating at darating din. Savor the peaceful rainy moments for now. ☕️✨️

Sana kayo din,ingat.

Favouritismm

I’m completely drained by my boss’s open favoritism and insensitive remarks like "hindi tayo nagkakaintindihan" whenever things don’t go her way, especially after I was chosen for a role over her obvious "puppet" who gets all the special treatmen.

It’s so frustrating working while the favorites get a free pass, and that three people here have already developed severe mental health struggles just from this toxic environment.

I’m honestly torn between trying to have one last conversation with her or just quietly planning my exit, but when a workplace is actively destroying your well-being and management refuses to be fair, is it finally time to just cut my losses and walk away?

Buutt,i enjoy talking to our clients and our services.

Finally getting this off my chest: Is anyone else just leaving their love life to the Universe

Finding genuine people and real love at this age feels almost impossible when nobody seems to be intentional anymore. I’m finally getting this off my chest because I’ve reached a point where I’m just throwing my hands up and leaving it all to the Universe—I know it’s so much easier said than done, but surely asking for just one intentional person isn't too much to ask, right?

Has anyone else completely given up on actively searching and just decided to let the Universe take the wheel?

Did I make a mistake letting go, or was I right not to settle for "low effort"?

I walked away from someone who was always present but gave absolute bare-minimum effort, believing I deserved real intentionality and deep connection. But now, navigating the exhausting dating scene, I find myself spiraling: should I have just settled for safe and present?

Searching for the right person while dealing with constant disappointment is making me second-guess everything—does it actually get better once you hold out for someone who matches your energy, or do you ever regret walking away?

Ano ba talaga ang thought process ng isang ghoster?Anong thoughts nyo dito?

Isip ko lang, kasi honestly… nakakapagod na.

You build a connection, daily updates, deep conversations, tapos biglang poof—missing in action na. No explanation, no proper exit, blurred out na parang bula.

As someone who tried to unpack this (at para na rin sa mental sanity natin), napaisip ako: Ano ba talaga ang dumadaan sa utak ng isang tao bago sila mag-decide na mang-ghost?

After a massive dating app sprint... when do you just say "I'm out".

I’ve been on a huge dating app pace lately—swiping, messaging, dates-- very few.

But honestly? I’m exhausted. The conversations feel repetitive, and the spark just isn't there.

For those who have been in this marathon: When is the exact moment you decide, "Yeah, I’m done with this"? Do you delete the apps entirely, or just go ghost for a while?

I feel like I'm right on the edge of hitting uninstall. How do you know when it’s time to actually throw in the towel vs. just taking a weekend break?

39 [F4M] conversation. Ever miss someone?

Posting this to stop myself from texting him.

I just came out of a short talking stage with a textbook avoidant. I was all in—putting in effort, cooking, and being understanding. He, on the other hand, was always "too busy".

When I finally called out his lack of effort and gave him a mature exit, he just made more excuses. That was TWO WEEKS AGO. Total radio silence since.

As an overthinker, it hurts. I catch myself wondering what's wrong with me, even though I cared deeply. I miss the routine and the potential, but this 14-day silence is my closure: he genuinely does not care. I feel like a total clown for crying, but I’m proud that I haven't broken my silence. My heart is heavy, but my self-respect is winning.

How do you survive this withdrawal stage without downloading Bumble again out of sheer boredom and pressure? The silence is crazy. 💔

Offered a hysterectomy due to myoma location.Has anyone used GnRH injections to shrink them instead?

Hi!

I’m currently dealing with a myoma (fibroid) and because of its specific location, my doctor’s primary advice is a hysterectomy.

The issue is, I am still in my reproductive age and I am absolutely not ready or willing to give up my uterus.

Single and childless tho.

I want to explore every conservative option possible first.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation and been offered GnRH injections specifically to shrink the myoma?

What to do?

Hormones are acting up. Im crying over someone i have never had real connection with in the first place. The person just gave me false hopes and let me wait for nothing. While he could be sending his good mornings to others, here I am past weeks of silence hurting.

Not because of the person but because of the potential thoughts, scenes, occasions I created on my mind.

How do u stay motivated?

Hey everyone,

I’m struggling hard right now. Between work, life stress, and just being exhausted, the absolute last thing I want to do is work out.

But I know I need to move for my mental health.

For those of you going through a rough patch, how do you actually force yourself to do it? What’s your secret to showing up when your motivation is at absolute zero?

Any straightforward tips or mindsets would be amazing. Thanks.

Pausing the apps after 6 months of lovebombing, ghosting, & spiraling.

I’ve been on the apps for half a year, and I’ve experienced it all: lovebombing, ghosting, breadcrumbing. I just ended a situationship that had me completely spiraling.

Now that the dust has settled, I realize it’s just a lesson learned. I am so much better off without him, and I’m proud of myself for protecting my inner peace.

I’m officially pausing my profiles to protect my sanity. I'm exhausted, but still hopeful that one day it’ll be my turn for something genuine.

To anyone who has taken a much-needed break: What did you do during your hiatus to reconnect with yourself and rebuild your peace? 🫶✨️
