Till now, BHIM flagged power apps (such as Shizuku) and refused to operate unless the apps were deleted.
But now the water is rising above our heads.
It has started flagging Bitwarden, a well-known password manager, just because it has accessibility permission enabled.
A few months ago, Yono SBI refused to open because an accessibility service was enabled for Bitwarden. I posted my issue as a review on the Play Store and their team asked me to contact them via email. I sent a detailed mail with multiple screenshots, but they never replied. In the end, I switched to Yono Lite, which thankfully doesn't have such restrictions.
In the name of security, these Indian apps are closing the gates instead of making them more robust. Their logic is simple: leave no chance for modification on user's device so an attacker can never attack it.
As a young person, I prefer freedom and customizability on my device. I often use less popular apps (e.g., Shizuku, Bitwarden) that offer useful features. But due to these kinds of absurd restrictions, I face a dilemma: either prioritize my daily apps (Yono SBI, BHIM) or sacrifice these daily used apps for the customizability and freedom.
₹349 debited from my SBI account for Airtel recharge through BHIM UPI, but recharge not done. BHIM app showing “transaction in process”. Anyone faced this before? Will it auto complete or refund?

After hearing so many people praise the BHIM app, I finally decided to try it. But honestly, it takes forever to open and freezes way too often. Has anyone else experienced the same issues?
I'm new to all of these, i just got my debit card
In the above second image i got the message today itself on my daily payment app. And its not his or her first time doing so. Im very scared to even open the app maybe he might pass through gateway or something?. I dont even know this person. He or she given the link and im not sure what to do after blocking the person. My mind isnt allowing me to open the app and investigating on this matter. What should I do? Can I enter simply and block or do I need to log out? Or uninstall the app? Why does this keep coming up ? Is my app not secure?. I know he is going for my account and I dont want to give him or her hopes. Im getting unwanted calls also maybe I keep applying for jobs in different website and give details but this calls are sometimes and mostly related to my balance or my enquiry. Most of this message are related to "this much or that much money credited please withdraw before from this account" I get jumped up on my chair when i see numbers getting credited in my account. But upon opening there is nothing. The one image on first

According to RBI’s latest Payments System Report, UPI processed 85.5% of all payment transactions in India by volume during the second half of CY 2025. That’s an insane level of dominance for a system that was launched less than a decade ago.
What’s interesting is that while UPI dominates transaction count, RTGS still handles the majority of total transaction value because large corporate and institutional transfers continue to happen there. UPI mainly powers India’s everyday economy chai shops, kirana stores, cabs, restaurants, shopping, bill payments, literally everything.
The bigger trend here is how quickly India has moved away from cash and debit cards. RBI data also shows debit card usage has fallen sharply over the last few years as QR payments and smartphone-led transactions exploded across the country.
Honestly, UPI doesn’t even feel like a payment app anymore. It feels like digital infrastructure at this point.
One month. THIRTY DAYS of trying to close my merchant account, and I have absolutely nothing to show for it except wasted time and boiling frustration.
Their "support" doesn't exist. You don't get a human — you get an AI chatbot on loop, robotically repeating "I can understand your words" while understanding absolutely nothing. It raises a ticket. The ticket goes nowhere. Repeat. Forever. That is literally their entire support system.
There is NO deactivation policy. None. They will hold your account hostage and make it deliberately impossible to leave. Every request I've raised has been ignored, buried, or dismissed with robotic non-answers.
This isn't just terrible service — this is a violation of basic consumer rights. You cannot force users to stay on your platform against their will. That's not a policy gap. That's fraud.
I'm escalating to consumer court and filing a grievance on the RBI portal. If you're facing the same issue — do the same. Don't let this slide.

I paid ₹585.29 to Ajio via FamPay (FamX Wallet) on **09 May 2026 at 07:51 pm** for a shoe order.
**Transaction Details:**
- UTR: 612911177521
- TXN ID: FMPIB54315740000
- Merchant: ajio1.payu@hdfcbank
Payment shows **"Money paid successfully"** with green tick and "Paid in 1.52 s" on my side. But Ajio says AUTHORIZATION_FAILED, order not placed, and they closed the ticket asking me to contact the bank.
It's been 10+ days (past RBI T+5 TAT). FamPay customer care has disconnected my calls multiple times. NPCI helpline also not reachable.
Has anyone faced this? Any advice on next escalation (RBI Ombudsman etc.)?
**Proofs attached** (payment success screenshots + Ajio emails).
Any help would be appreciated!
