Someone is trying to scam me. Need advice.

They've made the first transaction from some other company or something and are asking for money on some other UPI ID. I'll not return the money to them. I'm afraid if my account will be frozen if they file a complaint against me.

I've transferred around 1 lakh rupees to my other account. Around 89k is remaining in this account including the 49k they've sent.

What should I do next?

UPI payment debited but receiver hasn't received it even though it now shows successful — what should I do?

I’m really confused and worried about a UPI payment issue and would really appreciate some advice from anyone who has experienced something similar.

I was staying at a hotel recently, and I had to make a payment of ₹6,300. The first attempt from my phone didn't go through properly, so I made the payment from another account. That transaction also showed as pending.

The problem is that the money was debited from the account, but the hotel said they hadn't received it. We checked the receiver's payment history as well, and there was no ₹6,300 credit showing.

Since the first payment was still pending, another payment of ₹6,300 was also made. So in total, ₹12,600 was debited through two separate transactions.

Initially, both transactions showed Pending, with PhonePe saying that the receiver's bank was processing the payment and that it could take up to 48 hours. We waited because we assumed either the receiver would eventually get the money or it would automatically come back.

However, it's now been more than a week, and both transactions have changed to Successful on my side. The receiver is still saying that neither payment has reached his account.

The receiver has mentioned that his bank had some technical/banking issue during this period and that he needs to check with his bank. I also contacted PhonePe support, and they told me to contact my bank because the transaction is showing successful from their side.

I'm now really confused about where the money actually is. 😭

What should I do at this point? Should I contact my bank, should the receiver contact his bank, or should both of us contact our respective banks? Can the banks trace a successful UPI transaction and confirm whether the receiver's bank actually received the money?

I'm especially worried because it's ₹12,600, and it's been over a week with neither the receiver nor I having a clear answer about where the money went.

If anyone has gone through something similar, how was it eventually resolved and how long did it take?

Best credit card for UPI payments in 2026?

I use UPI for almost all my daily spends now and was thinking of shifting those payments to a RuPay credit card.
Which card are you guys actually using for UPI in 2026?

Looking mainly for good cashback/rewards + low or zero annual fee.

Kiwi, Tata Neu Infinity, Axis SuperMoney or something better?

Would love to know the actual reward rate you're getting, not just what's advertised.

Does RBI’s T+5 days apply in this case?

Guys, it’s been 10 days since my money was deducted, and despite complaining to SBI, the amount still hasn’t been credited back to my account. So my question is: does the RBI’s T+5 rule apply in this case? Also should I wait 30 days before complaining to ombudsman?

Thinking of switching from Super Money any alternatives?

I used to use Super Money mainly because I was getting decent cashback usually around ₹5–10 per transaction. But lately the cashback has reduced quite a bit, so I switched to POP UPI.

With POP I get POPcoins on my transactions, and I’ve actually been able to use them. I recently got the Realme Buds T200x for just ₹1,000 using my POPcoins. I’ve also used them to get discounts on Instamart and Swiggy.

Have you guys tried POP UPI yet? Would love to hear your experience with it.

We need support for Rupay in mobile NFC apps

Does anyone have any info on NFC support of Rupay cards in mobile apps like Google pay and samsung pay. These are the only 2 apps in india where we can pay using our device nfc by scanning our debit and credit cards.

I think personally, npci had to make this available. We can easily add our NCMC cards to phone and use them without internet. I heard that they're working on a technology called ' Host Card Emulation '. We have Rupay credit card on upi app but that doesn't use our phone's nfc.

Two Days ago. I was adding money to my FamApp using a debit card but in between the transferring money from bank to fam account. During the transfer, my FamApp automatically logged out. When I tried to log in again, it showed this error. "Unusual Activity Detected"

https://preview.redd.it/zlpk0gqfv4kh1.jpg?width=1056&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ceabe2a3fb673c519776c05725d47ef6ddf8fbb

Then I emailed them regarding the issue, and they replied saying that my device has frameworks like 'Xposed' or 'LSPosed' installed I checkked my device thoroughly, but couldn't find anything related to Xposed or LSPosed nor is my device rooted.

https://preview.redd.it/so326jupw4kh1.jpg?width=1062&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b916674839e108a6e8c962d82558cb205f16f95

I emailed them back along with screenshots, clarifying that I don't have any Xposed or LSPosed frameworks installed on my device. In response, they sent me this email.

I have more than ₹5,000 in my FamApp wallet. Could anyone tell me how to fix this issue or guide me on what to do next? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

Paytm X Visa will over by September 🥲

Paytm X Visa cashback offer ending 30-09-2026 😕

Looks like the Paytm X Visa Credit/Debit Card offer is ending on 30 September 2026.

The offer gives 15% off up to ₹150 on eligible bill payments/recharges using the Visa Platinum Debit Card, with a maximum discount of ₹150 per card per month.

Maybe because of the huge traffic and popularity of this offer, Paytm/Visa is ending it? 🤔

Anyone else noticed this? Do you think they’ll bring it back with a new offer after September?
