Found a style I’m happy with!

Recently made a post discussing how I was struggling to find a style of painting for white scars that made me satisfied - looking for C&C on my latest scheme which I’m, so far, pretty chuffed with!

First game of 11th

Finally had my first game with my scars. It is the begging of a narrative campaign starting at 1000 points. Thought I my list was a little weak for my opponents Tau but I pull out a decisive victory though an aggressive first turn. He was surprised at what I was able to do in the first turn (and so was I!). I got into his lines, secured all the midfield objectives and ran away with the secondaries! Thought you guys would appreciate how a Disruption force was able to put maneuver the purge the foe Tau!

Greetings, fellows! Wind on my face, engine roaring …Now, which way is the enemy? I need to know which direction to ride… eventually.

2000 Points Firestorm + Librarius

1st Attempt at this list so tell me what you think:

HQ

Suboden Khan: (w/Outriders)

Terminator Librarian: Smite, SB, FW (Warlord w/Terminators)

Librarian #1: Smite, SB, FW, Fusillade (w/Sternguard)

Librarians #2 & #3: Smite, SB, FW (w/Infernus Squads)

BATTLELINE

5-man Intercessor Squad: PF, GL, Bolt Rifles, CCWs

NON-BATTLELINE

6-man Bladeguard Squad: NVP, PWs, Shields, HBPs

10-man Terminator Squad: SBs, PFs, 2x Cyclone MLs

2x 10-man Infernus Squads: Pyreblasters, CCWs

5-man Scout Squad: Chainsword, Hvy Bolter, Knives, BPs

10-man Sternguard Squad: PF, Hvy Bolters, Bolters, CCWs

Drop Pod: (w/Sternguard + Librarian #1)

2x Gladiator Lancers:

3-man Outrider Squad:

Total: 1990 Points

Pretty standard but effective. What are your thoughts 🤔?

Armageddon kitbash

Just doing little tweaks to help the Armageddon intercessors look more like Scars. Trickiest bit was turning the tassel on the end of the chainsabre around so it wasn't sticking straight up in the air.

Scars or Templars

So, I have started building my army, about 400 points but they are Black Templars. I still like them but the more I get into the lore the more I’m drawn to the Scars. I love the brotherhood, the freedom, they don’t always seem serious and their fighting style is right up my alley.

Should I become a son of Khan or just enjoy from a distance?

Scars don’t have as many characters as the Templars but under utilized Space Marines is something that really pulls me to the Scars lol

Any advice or words of persuasion would be appreciated.

I have fallen into Repulsor Executioner psychosis

Howdy brothers.

These days I am tormented. I toss and turn in my sleep wondering if I am leaving so much on the table by not owning a Repex.

I own 3 gladiator lancers.

When I look in the mirror by reflection smirks back at me.

There is a terrible feeling I get whenever I look over winning tournament lists. A feeling of falling short. I see the RepEx in so many lists it makes the room spin.

I know it’s about more than just the big anti tank gun. I just don’t know how essential it is vs its competition in the gladiator or vindicator.

I just need to hear from other experienced brothers on what they are brining instead. Or, if you use the Repex and love it lmk too.

Best successor Chapter

What do you think is the best successors chapter of the White Scars? I think the Mantis Warriors are the best-developed; due to their participation in the Badab War, they received at least some attention. What do you think, and which successor chapter is best?

Preparing for LVO.

I'm working on my LVO list atm and as it stands, I am leaning towards running Firestorm + Librarius as Purge the Foe fits my play style the best. As it stands, I have the following:

Suboden + 3 Outriders (maybe an ATV)

Kor'sarro Khan + 6-man Bladeguard

Librarian + Fusillade + 10-man Sternguard in Drop Pod

2x Gladiator Lancers

1x 5-man Scout Squad

1x 5-man Intercessor Squad

Depending, I will have about 830 to 770 points to work with for this Army idea and I am asking my fellow Khans and the WS Veterans for any wisdom or advice they can gove me at this time when it comes to playing the Scars in 11th Edition.

Scalpers in your area, BEWARE

I don't even know what to be disappointed by. The mismatch of info, or the price. It is clear the blood angel terming was not a mistake since it was quite consistent throughout the description. The only explanation to the price and lack of info is that a scalper posted it. I own a white scar squad as well, but to call this professional painted without a shader for White Scars is hard to say.

No wall stands before the wind. No shield stops the stars

I finished the first jetbike riders for my great crusade white scars force.

Praetor Tarkhan Qol Zheda, “The Unyielding Seat”, leads the 12th Order Strike Cohort of the 5th Ordu, here he is accompanied by the Iron Wind, Golden Keshig executioner squad.

I'm trying to attach multiple pictures and struggling, will see if I can add them in a comment.

here's an Imgur link to the individual photos

Hey cousins

I posted the art in the respective subs and wanted to share art from @emirh92, that he did for me a long while back. Its a group pic of me and buds out side the lore and the chapters we favor
