None of our Yotos are connecting to WiFi. The problem started happening over the last few days. I’ve tried all the traditional steps to fix it — hard reset, holding down both orange buttons to enter the hotspot code, etc. Nothing works. Nothing has changed with our internet connectivity or speed. Any tips?

We have Queen, Elton John, and The Beatles which my preschooler absolutely loves. We even got Olivia Dean which was a surprising find.

My question is why other modern artists don't make cards. Is it because they don't count toward record sales so they see it as a waste venture? Their teams don't know about it? Something else?

My daughter’s less than a month old Yoto Mini has got a left button stuck. It is very difficult for me to get an exchange due to where I stay. There were suggestions on removing it to tighten the nut below but I really can’t seem to get it off. Has anyone managed to remove it and how did you do it? Thank you in advance!

Bit of a long shot. My daughter was listening to the French Yoto radio about an hour ago. She heard a song she likes. I didn’t hear it. She tried to tell me the words and according to her it goes something like this:

“Ca c’est la vie, ca c’est la vie pour nous. qu’est ce que la vie pour nous”. (She’s 7. These may not be accurate.)

She thinks it’s a woman singing. It had a fast beat. Maybe keyboards.

I tried searching but had no luck. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Merci!

i suddenly thought of this question, so i'll answer first:

the piano (used in the peaceful piano card from the sleepy songs pack*, bedtime piano, and mindful piano cards) and the music box (used in the "music box" card) have certain notes (and chords) that are distorted, making it unpleasant to listen to from time to time if you like a song on the sleep radio. this is a sign that remastering needs work.

*"schubert's lullaby" from the instrumental lullabies card has a part where the piano plays the melody.

what about everyone else?

Hey we got our daughter a Yoto mini for travelling and she’s loving the ease of the story cards we bought with it.

We are extremely frustrated though with the limitations on the MYO cards, which were marketed as having so many uses. But you seem to need to stay on Wifi for a lot of those options? I’ve tried loading podcasts and the free Yoto library content onto cards and the cards work fine in our Airbnb but stop working as soon as we leave wifi. I’m putting the MYO cards into the Yoto and then taking them out, allowing it ample time to download overnight, so is it just that they didn’t design this content to be used offline? If so, why not?!

The only success I’ve had is downloading a podcast series to my laptop and then creating my own playlist to load onto a MYO card but that took so long, I’m not willing to do it with every card. Is this a scam to force busy parents to buy more cards?

Please tell me if I’m doing something wrong or if anyone has a quick workaround? My now very disappointed 4 year old taking the train all day will thank you!!!! 🙏 🤪❤️

We haven’t had yoto club for a while or ordered cards for a while. But one night meltdowns were happening and I was desperate for a Daniel Tiger yoto card. It was 12.99 so I rejoined the club so I could order it for the price of a credit, throw it on a MYO and get my kids to go to bed.

My first frustration was that free shipping needed a minimum of $40. From what I remember club members got free shipping. But like I said I was desperate. Paid almost as much to ship it as I did for the card but whatever. It’s my daughter’s favorite card and gets played all the time.

Got a shipping email over a week ago. Went to look and see where it’s at. After some digging come to find that card only orders are shipped via untracked standard mail. You’re telling me I paid $7.99 for an envelope and <$1 stamp?! Either send it via tracked mail for that price or charge me a more appropriate shipping amount. Am I being unreasonable or is this just ridiculous??

We’re thrifty and creative and only have MYO Yoto cards up until now. I love finding audio, creating the icons, making labels with my cricut and all that jazz. We have a pretty impressive collection of about 40 MYO cards that look and sound store bought. (And a few we’ve recorded ourselves. We’ve paid for the basic Yoto membership and have a bunch of cards we’ve made from that as well.

We were gifted a year membership with 24 credits. If we wanted to we could buy 12 ten packs of MYO Yoto cards but I’m wondering if there are any cards with audio you love that you can only find on the Yoto Card store. I’m not talking about Frog and Toad or Disney soundtracks (we made our own cards ages ago). I’m not talking about Yoto Originals since those are included in the subscription.

I’m talking about content that is fantastic and ONLY accessible through buying a physical card from the Yoto website (that you can use credits on, of course). Any recommendations? I have a five year old girl, a three year old son, and a baby.

Short of sticking it in a ziploc and not letting my toddler actually touch it I don’t know how to protect from water.

He dunked our last one in the bathroom sink (result- won’t hold a charge and one button doesn’t work) so we got a second (reduced, thanks yoto!) and want to protect this if we can 🤪😊

Hi!! New here, my daughter (2.5) has had a yoto mini since she turned 2 and loves it! We are going on a trip soon and I just found a Nickelodeon sleep podcast that has some Paw Patrol stories on it which I know she’ll love. She doesn’t know any of the other shows that have stories on the podcast, though, so I was wondering if there’s a way to add only certain tracks from the podcast to a MYO card instead of the entire list? Since she’s only 2 she also gets overwhelmed by too many tracks so this would be a great option for lots of reasons haha. Any advice would be appreciated!

Has anyone bought what the Audioforyoto.com is selling ? It seems WAY too good to be true and not a scam. All of what they’re pushing for $30???

My 6 year old is obsessed with T Swift and wants me to make her a MYO card of her favorite Swiftie songs. But I have NO Idea how to proceed with that. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

(I did make a playlist with songs I already have on my computer in MP3 form from a million years ago when I used iTunes... but she wants CURRENT music, silly cutie. So maybe I revive my iTunes and just buy Taylor Swift songs I can make into another playlist? )

Also, how do I put the playlists onto a MYO card?

I know this is an AI card, but it used to be so good. It tracks flights near you and tells you about them. For my plane obsessed son, this is a daily favorite. Ever since the air traffic controller Haymich was replaced with Hugo while Haymich is on “vacation” it has gotten seriously so bad and very obviously AI-ish.

Planes are traveling at a staggering 4mph. Every 3 hour flight is the length of a day at the zoo (used to say a different thing for every flight like a morning at the beach or a really long grownups movie etc). The last 2 to 3 flights say “we’ve found one final flight”. Phoenix is full of pools because people swim year round to swim year round. And so many more weird phrasing’s and mispronunciations of basic words.

Has anyone else noticed this decline in quality with the change of host for their location? Does anyone know if this is permanent or if we will get Haymich and the quality of his hosting back soon? His vacation has been “coming to an end soon” for close to 3 months…😅

Noticed this evening that the morning time has changed from 0630 to 0730, and it won't let me change it to any other time.

I have also noticed that the volume limits for both morning and bedtime are set to 16 and won't let me change those either. (They previously had been different levels)

I'm guessing there's been a new update? It's on V2.23.3.

App on my phone is up to date and I have tried a reset aswell. Has anybody else noticed these?

ETA okay so when I make the changes on the app (such as change the morning or bedtime) it does change on the yoto but isn't reflecting on the app! Weird!

ETA 2: glad to see it's an issue across many Yotos and not just mine! (well not glad, I'd rather they were working). Morning mode didn't come on until 0730 which caused some morning confusion but all the more reason to start to rely on the actual time instead of the morning screen... 🫣

ETA 3: It's responding as normal again, I haven't done anything it's fixed itself, I had left the device unplugged and powered down.

Hello! Wondering if anyone has any advice/of this has happened to anyone else. Last night all was good, this morning the nightlight was red which was odd. Then I saw all the alarms were gone. Got those fixed only to see the time is wrong. The Time zone is set in the app but it won't display on the Yoto and the nightlight cycle is therefor off. Any tips?
