Pero around 2000s, medyo tumamlay na yung ratings ng IBC. 2010 and onwards parang nawala na sya sa collective consciousness ng mga Pilipino.

Way back in 1997, I saw posters of the movie Steel on display during the time I walked through the cinemas of Alabang Town Center.

I never bothered to watch it in the cinema as I already read negative feedback about Steel.

In 1999, I saw it by chance on cable TV and I saw how bad the movie really was. Even though the title role (played by Shaquille O'Neal) was about the DC Comics character, there were almost no references to Superman.
