I'm not able to send even a single SMS to anyone, I want to PORT out but sms hi nahi jarhe.
I am able to receive calls and sms.
Please help!!

How was your Telecom exam? Was it tough or moderate?
Cse grads do not apply for bsnl, exam is fully based on ece and eee subjects.
I'm from a rural village in Himachal Pradesh, and I'm trying to get a BSNL FTTH connection because Airtel Fiber isn't feasible at my location, and Airtel AirFiber is also unavailable.
I'd like to know if anyone here has experience getting BSNL FTTH in rural Himachal.

How do I check if my area is actually serviceable?
If there isn't an existing fiber connection nearby, will BSNL extend the fiber to my house?
Who should I contact—the local BSNL office, the franchise/vendor, or someone else?
How long did it take for your connection to be installed?
If you were initially told that FTTH wasn't feasible, were you eventually able to get it?

I have applied for the BSNL JTO exam and I'm from a CSE background. From what I've seen, the syllabus seems to include a lot of Electrical/Electronics-related topics, so I'm a bit confused about what exactly to prepare and how deeply I need to cover those subjects.
Can anyone who has prepared for or appeared for the exam share the important topics to focus on? Any tips, resources, or preparation strategy would be really helpful.

We can recharge in advance and it will not get overlapped by current plan. It will be get stored under pre recharge plans. Good move
So I am trying to recharge my BSNL Mumbai number.
When I go to BSNL online portal and enter my number, it shows me lots of plans.

But when I login to my BSNL selfcare app, it shows me only 198Rs plan.

hey guys need some help,
I want to setup bridge mode with this Digisol dg-gr1321 router to Tp-link archer c6 router (which I am willing to buy) but when I log into web interface of digisol router I can't find anything related bridge mode, I can only see WAN info & can't alter it.
In Start Quick guide I can only change PPPoE and Wifi SSID,Pwd details.
one odd thing I noticed with web interface is I'm able to login initially with username: user, password: user & unable to login with admin, Digisol@321 (as mentioned on the back of router)

Bill select ചെയ്ത് pay ചെയ്യാൻ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ the amount already paid എന്നാണ് കാണിക്കുന്നത് (തത്കാലം ഈ തുക അടക്കാൻ ഉദ്ധേശിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നത് വേറെ കാര്യം)..
ഭാവിയിൽ ഇതൊരു പ്രശ്നമായി മാറാതിരിക്കാൻ എന്താണ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് (online ആയി)?
I registered in the bsnl e auction where the registration fee was ₹1750. According to the T&C the registration amount gets refunded if you do not bid for the number within 10 days after the auction is completed. After 10 I received a message saying that the transaction has declined on the debit card due to technical failure from the bank. I mailed them the issue on bsnl.eauction@bsnl.co.in but no response was there. Please help and suggest what I should do in this situation.
I've been using BSNL for more than 3 years and never received missed call alert messages before. Yesterday I got an SMS from "BT-MCALRT-S" saying:
"You have 1 missed call from +91XXXXXXXXXX latest by 2026-06-30 20:25:53."
Has BSNL recently enabled this service automatically due to the 4G/VoLTE rollout, or is there some setting that got activated on my SIM? Anyone else experiencing this?
Whenever IP with this prefix is assigned, the latency to almost all international servers (AWS) go haywire and not a single one of them have ping under 100ms. Upon closer inspection this happens because of the messed up route that the return packet takes via ntt( normally its takes Jio), For eg. for a AWS server in singapore to travel to this mtnl ip. Its going to JAPAN>USA>INDIA i mean what the hell is that? I have reported to bsnl NOC, JT, Nodal officer multiple times but no fix till now.
I got this message from the bsnl.. what is its meaning... Is bsnl sending this message to all?
Let's say my BSNL plan expires on 2 July 2026. Let's say my last recharge was done on 8 June 2026 morning 8am.
So will my BSNL plan expire at 8am on 2 July 2026 or it will expire at 23:59:59 of 2 July 2026?
BSNL does not show exact time based expiry date like Jio does. BSNL just says expires on 2 July 2026 without mentioning time of expiry.
Also if GP1 (first grace period) shows 9 July 2026. Then incoming stops on 23:59:59 of 8th July or 23:59:59 of 9th July?
I am new to BSNL, hence asking.
BSNL 's network is draconian. Even in cities like Bangalore,which happens to be IT hub, I struggle to find robust network. I am still unable to watch any YouTube video on BSNL 4g . Every UPI transaction seems like it holds some surprise.
Whenever I'm traveling in a public transport,I get anxious to buy ticket via UPI since the signal strength drops as the bus moves and sometimes even when the bus is stationary,the transactions take too long to execute.
BSNL being government network ironically is people unfriendly especially in rural areas where there is absolutely zero network. Basically if you are opting BSNL, you will be paying lot higher than on any private network because the quality of service is pathetic.
Also the weaker signal drains the battery too fast.
I was trying to do a data pack add on and it keeps failing. Do any of you facing this same problem?
