Need some suggestions

Background - 22 old guy, was born in hindu family but had intrest in learning about all religions and About their culture and values.

So I studied all religions and then now i finally decided that I want to be a sikh only.

Informed this to my family and they are as happy as i am.

Now i don't want to do anything legal process etc, also my name is Sikh friendly with Singh in it.

I want help releted to these points.

A) l don't know any sikh person here in my city, but i visited gurudwara multiple times but still I yet to introduce my self there. I don't know how to be more open there so I can learn more about Sikhism.

B) is this okay as for now that i don't know punjabi, I am from Gujarat so I can understand Kutchi, Gujarati, Hindi, English. ( I understand some words of punjabi as the local language here is Kutchi which has too many words that are similar to punjabi with same meaning )

C) I am about to start keeping hair and wearing turban ( so any tips for that? ) Already started wearing Kada.

D) is it okay for me to be hindu on paper and live as Sikh in all way? Or I will have any issues in future?
