[opinion] if Charles Bukowski were alive today, which magazines/little mags would he be writing for?

Interesting thought exercise! Where would his work find a home do you think? Also if anyone has been in the scene since he was alive, any insights on how the little mag world has changed would be interesting to hear

edit - mostly thinking of his poetry but fiction too

“The best thing about the bedroom was the bed. I liked to stay in bed for hours, even during the day with the covers pulled up to my chin. It was good in there, nothing ever occurred in there, no people, nothing."

Haven’t got a new Bukowski in a while

Saw this at B&N after browsing the Criterion sale. Even though i’ve read anthologies and own Pleasures of the Damned, i’ve never seen a book dedicated to pre-fame/Post Office era poetry. I love his essays on poetry and other writings from this era (See the City Lights anthologies Portions From a Wine Stained Notebook and More Notes of a Dirty Old Man for a taste of that). Time to dig into this. My white Whale is still a copy of Flower, Fist & Bestial Wail, but thats a Pipe Dream.
