LA Guns

LA Guns

why do you think LA guns never got as big as they should have? seeing as they were part of the beginnings of Guns N’ Roses and other bands . Tracii was all around bands and people that got huge (obviously that doesn’t mean much).

To me, they also have a couple really great songs that could’ve been huge hits on the radio , even now in terms of being remembered.

streaming Bukowski

Apple Music has a lot of of his poetry readings released to stream, and some released albums, of readings also.
Does anybody else know where to get any readings of his?

His voice is oddly comforting, and the way he reads his poetry is perfect.

edit: I know there are some on YouTube

Hostage is my favorite of his readings. The production is all around perfect

anyone read this?

from the reviews ive read, and i believe Ray Davies has admitted this also this is part real , part fiction.

i suppose everyone embellishes their life in writing, just wondering if it was a good read or a waste. bought it for $.10 so ill probably give it a go

▲ 16 r/Pantera

who is your favorite Pantera influence?

KISS

VAN HALEN

BLACK SABBATH

this is a really hard question for me.
i really like all three bands
my first cassette was black sabbath - paranoid

my parents dressed up as KISS for halloween one year, and its one of my earliest memories. not to mention the music. SHOCK ME

van halen is just a personal favorite band that ive argued over too many times to count.

i have to choose Black Sabbath, but KISS is a very close second and van halen is smashed there too.

I 81 NB (exits 283-300) - saturday and sunday afternoons

during summer, those traveling northbound on I-81 will usually run into miles long slowly creeping or stopped traffic. sometimes starting as soon as woodstock (exit 283) all the way through the exit for I-66 (exit 300). check your routes, check alternate routes.

there are very few alternatives for north bound travel. route 11 (woodstock-winchester)
route 55-middle rd (strasburg)
back road-route 55(woodstock to strasburg)

safe travels on this hellacious road

after shift drink

you’re given an option of Heineken or Stella Artois for a free after shift drink what are you choosing?

im choosing stella, its nice crisp and refreshing. Heineken is great also, but that malt is a little too sweet for after work and thirsty.

I know not everyone drinks so maybe we can have another round but with soft beverages.
who knows maybe a bracket for king of after shift drinks?!?

First Pantera Album, and how.

the honest story of how I was introduced to Pantera. (2003) i had always read about them online. And seen dime bag on guitar world magazines.
and pantera was always mentioned on heavy metal magazines.
I was shopping with my mom at target and I would always check out the music there . They had this album for sale with no parental advisory sticker on it because the black card case covered up the album and the parental advisory sticker on the inside. I believe the parental advisory sticker was on the back center so when I asked her if she could not see that. soon became one of my favorite CDs ever.
I unfortunately never got to see Pantera live or Darrell live. I did get to see hellyeah play on the family values tour and I paid $20 for their debut CD and to meet the band and got to meet Vinnie Paul shake
his hand thank him and got his autograph.

Pantera will always be one of my favorite bands ever❤️

favorite HEAVY BOC albums

one of my favorite music groups ever. love how there are so many vocalist, the dual guitar, lyrics, drums, all of it.
what is your go to shred, heavy, pump up BOC album.

mine is Tyranny and Mutation. such a great album that almost defies classification. hard, melodic, distorted yet clean at parts. how the songs blend into each other.

7 screaming diz-busters my favorite track.
