My go to morning burro
This has been my go to recently.
Mexican chorizo, black beans, egg and cheese with with pico de gallo. The salsa is from a local taqueria
I made a breakfast burrito while in occupational therapy. 🌯
Tomato & basil tortilla, shredded cheddar, sausage, egg, o'brien hash browns and a bit of Cholula hot sauce. This one is in my top 10 of my best rolled burritos. Hash browns could've been crispier, but I was running short on time and the therapists had another patient right after me.
Smart or Burrito Monstrosity?
I'm always looking for ways to get more vegetables in my burrito.
20 important observations about the El Rey chimichanga I had for lunch
This is the best thing I have written all year. It’s also the dumbest thing I have ever written in my life. Enjoy!
Fridge dump burrito
Cleaned out the fridge. Buddy's smoked brisket chill, Greek lemon chicken thigh from other night's Mediterranean feast. Homemade tzatziki, roasted red pepper hummus and pickled onions topped with some Sriracha. Oh and some sharp white cheddar melted on the tortilla. Grilled Stuft style. Can't lie, it didn't suck. Hard cross section to wrangle. One of the few occasions some rice would have helped.
How do I learn to roll a burrito?
Sorry if that’s a dumb question.. but how do I learn how to roll a burrito?
We unfortunately do not have authentic mexican restaurants here and I fucked up all the burritos I tried to roll at home.. is there a secret I don’t know?
Homemade burrito no.4 steak
Starting to get better at it. White rice, black beans, skirt steak(shoulda done carne asada), guacamole, chihuahua cheese, lettuce, sour cream.
I need to make verde salsa, my burritos are filling but pretty bland. Adobo is ok but gets salty if you use too much. Open to suggestions.
Where to find SF Mission-style burrito
I recently moved back home to Chicago after a stint in San Francisco, and I'm really missing the SF Mission-style burrito. Willing to go anywhere in the city or suburbs.
I'm talking huge tortilla, meat, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, guac (a super burrito), not saucy. Definitely no fries - that's a SoCal thing.
Basically, something like you'd find at Taqueria El Farolito or Taqueria Cancun in SF. Anyone know where to go?
This might be my new fav breakfast burrito
Cut open my Lucky Boy sausage breakfast burrito. Added avocado and beans because obviously. If they put this on homemade tortillas and better salsa it would be out of this world but still a solid choice with the filling.
THE SMASHRITO DOUBLE BURRITO from Elm Street Diner in Stamford, CT!
What was on hand
Chicken thighs, black beans, avocado, SC, fajita veggies, habanero salsa. Grilled Stuft style
Giant burrito food challenge in Chino California at Taqueria El Rey

Kalua Burrito
10oz of cooked kalua on a 10" tortilla. Small side salad for "health". Kalua on a hawaiian roll for dessert. Fresh Hibiscus from the yard. Enjoyed with one with lots of siracha, African Dream Habanasco sauce, and Melinda's fire roasted hab sauce. 100% could have used some poi.
I am aware the pork is on the finer side shred-wise(that's just how my mom showed me how to make it)
