Hy- So, I'm writing a long-ass fanfic- I have around 200k words currently - A time travel thingy. And with the plot getting like a lot, I was wondering if anyone even uses betas anymore? And lol- I really maybe want one? idk, not like for grammatical mistakes but just someone who like knows the plot points so I could discuss it with someone, see if the next chapter makes sense and that kind of things? Anyone has any experience? Good/bad/where to look?

So I’ve read through a ton of destiel fics but avoided 91 Whiskey because I’m only hearing how heartbreakingly angsty it is.
Which I adore angst, but I have to know is it as sad and angsty as any of NorthernSparrows works? I’m talking like A Winters Tale or You can keep holding on. Or possibly Find me in the Light by allmystars?

The Angel’s Wild fic is my favourite one ever. It’s literally like a comfort novel for me, I go back and re read it every now and then. It’s the kind of fanfic that I would want to have printed into a book to put on my shelf.
It’s slow burn, enemies to lovers. The AU that they made feels so magical. In this AU, angels are very different than in the show, and Dean is an angel hunter. And his next target happens to be Castiel, who is living alone in the woods.
This authour also has another fic, Out of the Deep. Another fantastic AU fic, where everyone is mer people instead.
I don’t wanna give out too many details in case anyone decides to read them, but oh my god they are so good. I love fanfiction but I don’t spend a lot of time engaging with it, so this authour is the only one whose name I know by heart because these fics are a part of me now.
It’s just the best. It’s so good. AAAAA

I feel like I found this fic on here not long ago but can’t for the life of me find it now and I was only halfway through reading! It’s a college AU, large parts of it seem to be inspired by the book Bunny. Dean is in school for creative writing, meets Max and joins this sort of secret summoning school to help with writers block. They summon demons and the demons speak through him. Dean has a crush on jimmy novak and Castiel uses jimmy to warn dean about what he’s doing and then I think dean gets suspended??? Please help me find it!!!
I’m super new to fanfic, so I’m not even sure where to start. I just got into Supernatural about 5 months ago, but I completely love it, especially Destiel. I’m coming off of a long run of Good Omens love, and given the parallels between SPN and Good Omens (including the fact that Kripke was inspired by GO), I’d love to read a SPN/GO crossover where idk, Dean, Cas, Crowley and/or Aziraphele commiserate after SPN 15x18 and GO 2x6. It would be nice if both couples end up happy, but the most important thing is that they all just feel like them. Have there been many that are worth reading? Bonus points if both universes’ Crowleys are in it and interact because I just think that’d be hilarious.
