My extruder off my modified Ender 3 v2 is knocking and I can't find the sours off the problem. I've allready change the PTFD tube and made sure that it has direct contact with the nozzle. I also changed the extruder gear to a brand new one.
I'm cofused and hope to fix it with your help. Please comment and give tips, instructions and tutorials.
Hello everyone! I have been working on a new OctoPrint plugin to help with spool management. Currently it is on v0.1.0, so my first release that i am willing to share with the community. For now, filament tracking is manual, but in the future I plan to add automatic tracking and QR code support, RFID support, and NFC support. This is my first ever plugin and I am excited to share it with the community!

I just got the Ender 3 v2 second hand and it’s my first 3d printer.
I noticed during some prints that after leveling each corner with the paper method the purge line seems to place well but when going to the middle the skirting seems to get stringy and lift off. I am using the stock glass plate but notice marks from old prints on it not sure if that would impact it that much.
On my last print I changed the offset -0.06 and it seems to be better.
Do I have to consider having to change the z offset everytime when the skirting is placed to ensure I get a good first level? Or do I need to replace the plate?

I'm consistently getting filament clogs where the filament has this distinctive shape when I pull it from the nozzle. This has been with a marble texture filament I bought off Temu, so not exactly top of the line stuff. Full metal double extruder and a new nozzle, but wondering if I have the nozzle too tight or too loose. Does anyone have advice for this issue?
is there a mount for rapid burner with a hotend of stock mk8 plus volcano block and nozzle?
This printer is really starting to stress me out. I'm trying to relevel my bed after installing a new heating element and nozzle, but the motors keep trying to drive the nozzle into the new bed and I don't know how to fix it

I’ve tried a bunch of firmware files and none of them seem to work properly with this setup. The probe won’t deploy right, Z won’t go negative, homing gets weird… I’m honestly at the point where I just need a firmware that actually works for this combo.
If anyone has a Google Drive link, Dropbox, or any firmware file that works well with this exact setup, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it with me. I’m new to this and I’m kinda desperate to get the printer running properly.

Hi all, up until now I have had rock steady extruder temps. Recently my heater block stripped out on the nozzle and I replaced it. It has been working fine for some time. Then my hot-end fan died and I replaced that, everything seemed to be fine for a couple of weeks and now I am getting erratic temp swings on my hot-end. I am running Klipper and it stops on heater issues. I have loaded the settings and I have put in crazy number just to keep it going to do a PID loop set. I will complete it but now when I print I can see swings where setpoint is 198 and I can see swings down as low as 184 even though it is brief I have never seen this before in my printer. Could the new fan be too much for the heater? Is it possible to slow it down some?
Hi everyone, PLEASE HELP ME.
I’ve spent DAYS trying to get my Ender‑3 working again and I’m honestly stuck. This is my first 3D printer and I’m not good with firmware or coding at all. I can’t code, I can’t compile Marlin, and all the “easy builders” are behind paywalls now. I just need a working .bin file I can put on my SD card and update my printer with. I’ve searched everywhere and I’m getting nowhere.
Here is my exact setup:
I’ve checked Creality’s site, GitHub, Reddit, forums, YouTube… I can’t find ANY firmware that supports Sprite Pro + CR Touch + V4.2.2 + knob LCD all together. Everything I find is either for the V2 or missing CR Touch support.
I’m really stuck and just want my printer working again.
If anyone has a firmware that works with this exact setup, PLEASE send me a Google Drive / Dropbox / direct download link to the .bin file.

Hiya I’ve not had heat creep issues before until now.
I’ve got a TZ E3.0 2.0 hotend (printing PETG), which has done a fair few long prints (5-8hrs) without any issues and as u can see it is in an enclosure. The heat creep at its worse can range from +\- 15C. To a point that it cancelled the print as the temp got over 270. Once the heat creep starts, it doesn’t settle down, but gradually increases in temperature. Because I’m unfamiliar with this issue I don’t really know where to start. Is this a wiring fault? A cooling issue? I’m not sure
Not sure if this adds to any diagnosis, but once the print sent an error of over heating. I turned it off and on again and resumed the print. This stopped the heat creep for about 20 mins before starting again.

THREE YEARS. NOT ONE GOOD PRINT. ive tried everything, replaced beds twice, installed mriscoc firmware, fully trammed and manually meshed bed, washed bed with water and soap then applied some glue..... THE FIRST LAYER IS STILL TRASH. Hi everyone, I managed to solve two problems in one with this little print.
Re-using the redundant z-limit switch sensor as a filament run-out sensor, and routing my filament nicely from my filament drying box via top gantry into my Sprite Pro. I remixed an existing file from Printables: https://www.printables.com/model/298272-ender-3v2-filament-runout-sensor and had the original idea from a 5yr. old post on here.
I extended the z limit switch cable and routed it in the extrusion grooves.
I am using a 4.2.2 board with Kilpper and Mainsail, and added the following into the printer.cgf file.

Whatever this is keeps happening on my prints. when setup the Z offset with the paper its somehow too high and the filament just gets laid and not smushed to stick in any way, and whenever i lower it so it actually smushes it a bit this happens.
My Ender3v2 recently has stopped extruding mid print. If I turn it off and change the filament it will start printing fine, no problems. Mid print it will stop extruding and yesterday when I checked it, it was making a clicking sound. I put a video here if it uploads. The print continues but there is no extrusion occurring and now the clicking noise.
What are the top things I should check for and is this a know issue? I have not been able to find anything with the exact issue.
i replaced my belts as my old ones broke and now it’s making this noise when the y axis goes one direction
any ideas how to fix?
