I'm in my late 30s, single and child free, on the spectrum, and due to circumstances over the years, I now have basically no friends irl... My three dearest friends live across continents and oceans. I socialize under duress with my parents. No siblings. My grandmother passed away in February so I lost her connection. The rest of my family are either busy themselves or too far. The one woman I'm sort of friends with in my very tiny town, that I haven't seen in over a month, just tried to make plans with me IN FOUR WEEKS - and I've already got solo birthday plans down in the city that weekend. That's the next best time she has, between her kids and husband and job etc. We don't really communicate between visits either. I am just so tired of being friendless. I understand everybody has busy, complicated lives with busy schedules but it feels like no one values me enough to make time for me. It doesn't feel like much of a friendship when we can't even make a once a month game night with their whole family who loves board games happen... I've tried using Bumble to meet friends but it just felt like awkward first dates. I like being alone, so it's not always horrible, and I enjoy my own company, but it would be nice to have someone to invite over for dinner, or just go run errands together or SOMEthing. A girl needs a friend to send outfit photos to and actually get a semi prompt reply because they're actually in the same time zone. I enjoy video games, crochet, hiking, camping, road trips, museums, books, cooking. I feel like I'm interesting and a fun friend! Any tips on making friends irl? Do I just hang out in the Michael's yarn aisles and wait for someone who looks my age and pounce? LOL. Just super discouraged rn.

(this happened to me today and was a good feeling)

I always set up a pop up greenhouse on my patio for the winter to smoke in. I usually run a space heater from the outdoor outlet (it is not left running or outside if I am not there).

Well, the outside outlet is not functioning. I replaced it last week and it is still not working. I don’t have the funds for an electrician right now. Going to poke around with it some more to see if I can fix it. I live I the Chicago burbs, so it can get really wintery out here, and I don’t smoke inside. That space heater makes being outside tolerable, lol.

Hey lovely peeps! Had to share this. So I found this new vape, from Modern Hemp Company. THC-A, ofc, but woo. Packs a pretty punch! Combined that with a Lucky's THC-A Hash Hole, Blue Runtz blunt. (Which took me the entire DAY to smoke) I happened to notice that one of my local TV stations was featuring "The Wizard of Oz" on Svengoolie rhis week. So naturally I tuned in. I was in and out, can't smoke where the TV is, but i caught THE most important parts by doing that. Long story short. I ended up bawling my fool head off at the end, which is the norm for me. And it made me realize, just HOW MANY FUCKING YEARS I'VE WATCHED THIS ON TV!!! Since I was probably 3 I'd say, and I'm 63 now. Have any of you lovely folks ever gotten the ol goosebumps whilst watching a classic such as this? Does anyone else cry at the ending? No? Just me? Talk to me, lovelies!!! 💚
