My husband’s family told us (via voicemail) that his grandfather didn’t want a memorial service and there would not be one. Obituary finally comes out and says a “private family service” is being held.

How scummy. Because he has the audacity to call them out on *lying to us*, they blatantly do it some more.

We presume they don’t want us to “embarrass” them by not being all lovey dovey with them while there’s an audience. WASPs are the worst.

Any of our resident legal eagles want to give us a layman’s update? Google says there’s another hearing this month but otherwise I couldn’t find much info. Just curious!
