The caterpillars for these butterflies exclusively eat the neighboring passionflower vine. They'll starve to death before they'll eat the my buds. The grow bros think all butterflies/caterpillars are created equal. They're not. Know thine enemy. It's not them.

Growing weed is very rewarding but it's also very monotonous. Walk around the plants 20,000 times a day to check for worms and rot. If you're not doing that, you need to be in here trimming some shit or burping some jars or making hash. It's work y'all. And I'm tired.

Chopped a few nugs a couple of days ago. Let them air dry. It came out very gooey and honey like. Left it outside in 100°(f) weather and it buttered up. Idk the strain. Something pineapple.

I saw a wilted leaf on one of my tops and without hesitation cut it off.

It's the gulf fritillary species doing the nasty on my MJ plant. I have their host plant. The passionflower but they prefer to do their business here. Can't say I blame them.
I'm not even mad about it. The only thing is my others are just starting to flower. I keep having to switch modes.
This really does blow my mind. I have other clones in bigger pots that aren't doing this well. I don't know why or how. But here we are.

This is my half-ass attempt at canopy management this year. And before anybody tells me to defoliate it, I have been. She's just a bushy girl.
I had this cannabis plant that's kind of famous in Grower circles. Mostly because it was massive and lived such a long time.
When it was small, it was galloping around in the wind. I coined it "Galloping Gertie" .
My friend tells me that his ailing Grandma's name is Gertrude. Some people called her Gertie.
As the weeks went on, his grandmother passed. I sent my condolences and said we will grow the plant in her honor. Gertrude was locked in.
As it started getting ridiculously big, I said she was haunting the plant in the best way possible. People on reddit were even invested in the saga.
(My friend was on shrooms when I said that. He started trippin balls. Sorry buddy.)
It went onto live a full year. She gave and gave and gave. She even kept a few branches alive well into December so that my friend could come and harvest them himself.
