So yes...I need a testosterone gel to preserve the genital area while on estrogen therapy. Please don't judge. I've been without testosterone in my body for ~2 years. I've lost about 3 centimeters of length, completely infertile, very small testes. The thing I'm not sure about is how to prevent systemic absorption of the drug. The genital skin is very thin and delicate, which allows for rapid drug absorption. Additionally, the "antiseptic hand gel" base many people recommend increases absorption even further because of the alcohol. I'm not sure how to formulate it. Personal experiences are welcome.

Edit: I also need the % required for testosterone so that it's effective locally but doesn't do much systemically.

I am a cis-man I've been interested in the positive effects that estrogen has had on trans people and overall people taking HRT estrogen.

In my research, I found that some "male" hormones, like DHT, can have negative aesthetic effects on the facial skin (I don't need this for balding)

Whereas estrogen has positive aesthetic effects on the skin.

I've seen Feminizing transgender people who look like they got 10 years younger from estrogen therapy.

I want to obtain the positive effects of estrogen WITHOUT getting the lower libido, breast developmentm, infertility or transitioning.

I would also consider a slightly more feminized face a positive.

I am already considering estriol creams but I would like to take it further to reap more benefits.

Is there a way I can accomplish this?

TL;DR How can I get the aesthetic benefits of estrogen like a younger face, skin and slightly feminized face without getting lower libido, breast development or infertility other than doing estriol cream.

Sorry if this is off topic, does anyone have experience with making something like 0.01% tretinoin cream from raw USP powder?

My doses are kinda inconsistent, and I haven't felt a lot of change in the past few weeks.

I don't know just how spot on I have to be with when and exactly how much I get every day, but it has become increasingly difficult to use my gel at the same hour everyday, so I do generally have about an hour difference of when I take it.

Also, the airless pump bottles aren't really working for me, and the pumps they give are super inconsistent... so I switched to just pouring it and trying to get roughly the same amount...

Any, ehm, any ideas?

And where can I buy my gel or spray from? Please can you also help me with the dosage?

Can the ingredients be mixed at room temperature (vegetable oil, isopropyl myristate + raws) or do I need to introduce heat during the process? What order should I combine ingredients etc?

Hi everyone. I’m a 16 year old lesbian trans girl from Italy.
This is going to be a bit of a text wall, but I could really use some advice.
My parents aren’t openly transphobic, but I don’t feel safe coming out yet. The good part is that I have an amazing girlfriend who supports me a lot. I have access to her wardrobe full of feminine clothes, I wear Vollence DD breast forms held in place with a very tight chest band and a bra, and she helps me with outfits, makeup, and pretty much everything else.
My dysphoria comes and goes. Sometimes it’s manageable, other times it becomes almost obsessive depending on the situation.
Right now, there are a few things that make presenting as female really difficult. My voice doesn’t pass at all. I’ve tried voice training, but I haven’t had much success. My ADHD makes it incredibly hard to stay consistent with exercises, and every time I give up I end up feeling even worse about myself.
I’ve also tried tucking underwear, but it honestly hasn’t worked very well. Unfortunately, although I guess it’s a good thing if I ever get penile inversion vaginoplasty in the future, I have a lot of tissue down there and I really struggle to get a flat look, especially if I want to wear skirts. One of my biggest dreams is going to the beach as myself, but I feel ridiculous in regular swimsuits. Even swim shorts don’t really solve the problem, and purpose made trans swimwear is way outside my budget.
I’ve seriously considered DIY HRT several times. The problem is that noticeable breast growth would create huge problems with my family and with people around me who don’t know I’m trans. Many of them are very conservative, Catholic, and openly transphobic, so coming out just isn’t an option right now.
My question is about microdosing. Is there any evidence that taking very low doses of antiandrogens and estrogen could slow or partially pause puberty enough to preserve better long term HRT results? I’m mainly thinking about things like facial masculinization, preventing facial hair from developing (I barely have any yet), and stopping my body hair from getting thicker.
I’ve searched online but haven’t found a clear answer, so I figured I’d ask people here who might have personal experience or know the research better.

My wife 43 F has active RA and is showing symptoms of perimenopause, her Estrogen tests normal high Progesterone almost zero Total T and Free T both low with a high SHBG, sleeping poorly plus daily life with a great deal of pain she is on her DMARDS and NSAIDS Methotrexate Hydroxicloroquine etc.

But we have talked about trying HRT, just wondering if there is anybody on here that would willing to share their experience.

I was making up some gell and it suddenly went cloudy and seemed to separate out.

I added

Isopropyl 24 ml

Glycerine 11ml

Mystrate 12 ml

E powder 1g

Ran the stirrer and it all looked ok.

Then adding 53ml distilled water and the clear solution went white!

It seemed to form a film on the top, heating a little it went mostly back in solution.

Any ideas what happened?

Okay so a friend of mine gave me her e gel because she has sensory issues to it, but I'm just wondering about the most effective path for monotherapy. It's not diy it's a certified oestrogel, I just haven't been prescribed it hence the title lol.
On the bottle it says each pump delivers .75mg, 0.06% w/w.
My friend told me to do two pumps a day, either on the arms, inner thigh, sometimes chest if the urban legend that it increases boob growth is to be believed. But I also know that doing it on the testes increases absorption rates, and I think I have naturally high t anyway?
So if I were to do two doses (1.5g), should they be both in the morning on each thigh (etc)?
Or if I were to do four pumps (3mg), should I do 2 on inner thighs in the morning and 2 on inner thighs in the evening? Or is that just preference?
Also what's the deal with the testes thing, should I do the two doses or even four doses there? (Same question about times apply)

Im a 14 year old trans girl and im wondering how much estrogel I should take to see results and to stay safe.

Hello everyone, I just started my hrt 3 days ago and I've been using 2 pumps(1g) of Estreva (1g=1mg) and 12.5mg of cypro daily, as prescribed by my doctor.

I've been applying my E on the genital (scrotum) area, for better absorption, and that's how I do it:

- I always apply in the morning after showering, and let it air-dry for abt ~5mins. To not let it come in direct contact with my underwear and maybe/possibly interfere with some of the E in there, I've been applying a thin layer of a plastic bag (that which comes with fruits on the supermarket) and let it sit there all day long, taking it off just before showering again.

My question is, can it actually interfere with my E absorption?

Ik it sounds a little stupid all this, but I just want to make sure I'm not screwing over something lolol.
