Recently lawtubers have found foreclosure documents ref Chris Alberts home. Some of the documents are a little confusing, with Albert claims of exemption due to being in the military, etc...but one hard data point I know for sure:

The Alberts deeded their home at 7 Meadows Avenue away on Jan 12, 2022.

Why is this important? Well, I suspect this sale was done under duress, after threat of foreclosure. They'd lived there for 20 years, and even though they still had one (or maybe two) kids still in the house with them, they had to pack up all their belongings and move to a condo on Maple street, a quarter mile north of the pizza shop. They could have felt shame and public humiliation.

Now a run down of the sequence of events that night:

1. Chris Albert texts JOK something like "get over here (Waterfall) or else I'll f up your lawn".
2. JOK and KR arrive...JOK pokes Julie Albert in the shoulder and jokes that the neighborhood had a block party to celebrate their move.
3. Julie Albert "gets a headach" and leaves 10-15 minutes after JOK arrives at the bar.

I think CA was genuinely joking with the "f up your lawn" text, and I think JOK was trying to match his energy with the block party quip. But I don't think Julie Albert thought the lawn feud was a joke at all. IIRC, she is the one who took delight in showing KR that JOK was "Nebbercracker" in her phone. So I don't think she appreciated the block party joke at all - they had to move out of the neighborhood, tail between their legs, just 3 weeks prior...and Mr "get off my lawn" is rubbing salt in the wound. So she's pissed off and leaves the bar!...Leaves CA there...which is interesting. Any man who has been married knows this uncomfortable situation - momma's not happy, she leaves to let you stew and wonder how upset she is, and she's practically daring him to choose between her and his fun night out with friends.

Could this have been a catalyst for a fight? Re-examining Higgins' gestures as he was leaving the bar - maybe he was genuinely inviting JOK to 34 Fairview, and the scene where CA grabs his arm...well, maybe that was a "knock it off, I DON'T WANT him there" move. Imagine Higgins over-hearing JM giving JOK directions and worrying that he was out of line extending the invitation - causing him to text "you coming here".

So lets take CA at his word that he walked home and didn't go to 34 Fairview. Well, Colin was at 34 Fairview, and probably asked where his parents were. IIRC, he stated he met BA and NA coming home from the bar. So what would happen if BA told him that JOK insulted his mom and now mom and dad were fighting over it? Would he just hop in the car with Allie McCabe?...or would he hang around and wait for JOK?

I really have a hard time believing this entire family circled their wagons to protect BH...because, well: he's not family. But that fella who ran away to join the military to avoid being questioned? He most certainly is family. Anyway just a theory as to what tension was bubbling that night, other than the BH jealousy theory.

Edit: Another thought - Colin texted Allie for a ride around 11:54. Why? What was his original plan? Had it been he would just ride home with his parents? By 11:54, had he learned that mom went home with a "headache", taking the car, and now dad was hoofing it home in the snow?

Hopefully the investigation is done with Homer and integrity for this fallen officer.

I wish the reporter would have pressed them more when they were reciting the same answers.. or pressed them at all.

Does anyone know if the real police ever looked to see where the Alberts disposed of the concrete or flooring that was torn up for the basement reno? Seems to me if they looked for the discarded materials they might find some old blood stains.

Why is it, people seem to think what's happened and is happening to Karen Read and Lindsay Clancy is unusual?

Here in the so-called land of the free and the home of the brave, cops and DAs are doing this sort of thing to your fellow Americans each and every day.

I mean completely innocent Americans, not just those who have actually done "something". And even with those who have done "something", it's SOP to overcharge people to EXTORT them into taking a plea.

Specifically, in the Karen Read situation, I guarantee you the original plan was to blame whatever plowman happened along. Lucky got LUCKY. He's not a reasonably attractive woman with any personal wealth or wealthy folks. He would have been SCREWED.

Karen and Lindsay are just televised and they have the means to fight.

How do you feel about that and when did you first realize it's true?

Is anyone else watching Reddington in the Clancy trial? I can’t help but think about his litigation style and his approach and how that will translate in the civil case given he reps Jennifer McCabe. Interesting preview.

eta: thanks for the info guys! he repped her previously but likely won’t for the civil trial. but man she had a bulldog repping her during the criminal trial!

Crawford called the family bullies because they asked Djuna Perkins for an apology after she claimed she was also a victim(because shes received mean comments online), much like sandra birchmore is a victim.

Djuna still hasn't apologised to the family for that comment.
