I live in Chicago (CST) and never messed with the time settings on X before.

Today Judge Gildea gave Proctor’s lawyers clear instructions on now to ensure their client isn’t deposed any further.

Please someone tell me Karen’s lawyers can do something to put this guy in his place. I’m SOOOOOO MAD BRO.

I had a feeling he was just as bad as Bev from the beginning. I would be more surprised if Bev was the only corrupt judge with ties to the McAlberts in MA.

Remember these are the people who went out of their way to lie on a talk show when no one asked them to. Imagine how confident they have to be to think they’re going to get away with this. I’m thinking “I have a whole roster of judges to help me out” kind of confident.

Motion to recuse Judge Gildea?

Judgemental Gildea's behavior is starting to go beyond the pale if you ask me. He demands that Read's attorneys supplement their motion to compel Tully for his deposition, and in the process leaves out important language disclaiming that Read's team knew they were making some presumptions. Yet Judgemental Gildea affirmatively states an attorney is behind whatever "leak" happened. Seemingly ignoring the possibility he has a Becky Hill in the court staff, or that the "leaker" got the medical info from elsewhere. For example, perhaps from an acquaintance of Proctor or somebody who perhaps saw Proctor going to or from whatever it is he is going to or from. Say Proctor did check in to a mental health facility in Florida. Maybe the leak is Proctor's Uber driver or something? Kearney tweeted 5 hrs ago that if it was his tweet then he did not get it from anyone in Read's or the O'Keefe's "camp."

Judgemental Gildea puts Proctor's deposition and related discovery on indefinite suspension unless the attorneys essentially send him a 'voluntary' gag order. A sanction which definitely, definitely, definitely hurts one side more than the other. But without actually finding that any violation occurred or that anyone should be sanctioned. And he warns everyone that the discovery deadline is looming, implying both sides (cough cough Karen Read's team cough) need to send this 'voluntary' gag order to him quickly or else lose the opportunity to continue their deposition of Proctor.

Oh, Judgemental Gildea is not sanctioning Read's attorneys or anything. But he is making Alan Jackson get a last minute plane ticket from Los Angeles to Boston which probably cost an amount similar to a personal sanction, as well as probably wasting a day or more of his time. And then has the gall to wish them all a happy 4th of July weekend. All for a hearing that could have been an email, and essentially was an email once everyone filed their affidavits.

Judgemental Gildea never clearly stated Read's team is behind the supposed leak of impounded information. And, I mean, I am being more cautious than the judge with my language here. Because the judge says info was disclosed from the impounded filings, while I am saying info was perhaps disclosed from the impounded filings. But Gildea is clearly holding it against Read's team without making a finding of such or anything at all really. Although Judgemental Gildea never says one side or the other is behind this, all of his behavior is primarily punishing Read's team and he's made up his mind that Read's team is behind this "leak," without actually determining an attorney was responsible for the "leak" at all.

Solo cups in neighbors driveway

They seem like they might be in a pattern? The cups were there for a few days but I never saw them doing anything with it.

Non-serious answers are more than welcome, might as well get a few laughs out of the absurdity.

My big issue with todays emergency hearing on lealed info

Ok so judge isn't messing around, and I'm so ticked that Jackson couldn't even be heard.

But essentially what I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) is this weaponizes the plantiffs. If house parties leak info, Proctors depo may be suppressed or a judgement (in their favor?) is what judoes threatened, right?

This insentivises plantiffs to leak info since judge is indiscriminately punishing all attorneys and majorly prejudices miss Read. Am I wrong?

Clarifying the leak

Does anyone have any idea what impounded material Judge Gildea cited as the excuse for this farce of a hearing? It seems like everyone is lost, including the lawyers and everyone covering the case. Bizarre

I’m worried they are going to “Steven Avery” Karen.

I know her reasons but fck, I’d be getting the hell outta MA & never look back. They wanna jam her up on stuff & with how fcked the state is, you just never know. Even this new judge is becoming a bit of a 🍆. Get the hell outta there.

Now Everyone is going to wonder who leaked what.

Threats promises and a long patriotic speech. Until someone says what's been leaked, and who leaked it, I am going to assume that (based on his character as portrayed in his interviews, testimony and documents released) Proctor let the information leak, hoping that some would believe Karen's team leaked it. Unless someone proves otherwise that's my opinion. This idea of giving a blanket acquisition and threats and promises, with no proof or investigation casts a very dark shadow over the legal system.

What do you suppose the attorneys are doing this weekend.

The Judge has said he doen't want the attorneys accusing one another, he just wants the fact. He now threatens the attorneys, will not state the facts, does not give them a chance to be heard. There is something that stinks about this case , the Judge has pointed the finger at himself. Sure this leads to more dirt being dug up. There's a rumor that Brian Albert and Judge Gildea were co- defendants in a case in 2024. Does anyone have a case number? We don't want to be spreading something which is not true. I can't imagine the attorneys are all gonna just let this slide. The judges remarks have the potential to prejudice someone in the jury pool. Depending on what side of this case you support, you are going to allow yourself to believe that the leak occured on the other side. I have already decided where I believe the leak DID NOT originate from. Until I am shown more, my opinion will not change. This is not good.

Hmmm interesting article about past controversies with Gildea

Summary: An article from 2011, when Mark Gildea was town counsel for Bridgewater. There were allegations he failed to disclose his conflicts of interests concerning a controversial subdivision called Whispering Woods.

I saw someone post about it on Twitter and thought it'd be an interesting discussion. Especially given that Gildea loves to lecture on ethics, transparency and anti-gamesmanship 🤔.

Gildea: conflict of interest? Brian Albert and Gildea were codefendants?

There is a roomer in YouTube comments that someone found a cases from a while ago where Judge Gildea and Brian Alert were sued? Is this true? What is the case? Does anyone have the documents from it? Is this completely made up? Is there are real conflict of interest?

The responses to the order about leaking Proctor's information have hit the docket

Everybody denies disseminating the information, and denies knowing of anyone who did. The hearing should be interesting.

Read’s Lawyers respond to Judge’s request for their facts in the Tully motion

Judge probably won’t like the answer I’m guessing.

However, something interesting is included.

Allie had tried to duck her deposition saying unavailable. Then 2 days before it decided she can make it.

When asked under oath what were her reasons for originally being unavailable, she offered she had no other commitments that would have kept her from the date.

Will Judge Gildea take notice of that “fact”?
