Anyone else’s Alexa skill disable this morning?

Edit: 2 - It's back up and running. If you are having difficulty in the app itself (which I was), open this thread up in a browser and click this link to Amazon's skill to enable it via web browser. The built in browser in the app historically takes a while to clear cache.

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Harmony/dp/B01M4LDPX3

Edit 1: Seems this is a logitech-side issue. Their site(s) seem to be having issues presently.
home.myharmony.com is currently down along with their myharmony forums.

Original:

Just wondering if any others are experiencing this. it was working at 6am est but at 7:45am i gave an Alexa command and she told me the skill was disabled. I went into the Alexa app to re enable it and the harmony authentication site gives an html error code in plain text after I logged back in to re-link it up.

anyone else having this issue?

Looking to gather more Harmony dumps

As part of my work on the offline config generator, I need .ezhex config dumps from other Harmony models to evaluate how similar they are to the 900 and what it will take to support them.

If you have one of the Concordance-supported models below, please dump your configuration and send it to me.

Supported Models:

  • 6xx series
  • 36x, 51x, 52x, 55x
  • 700, 720, 745, 748, 768, 785
  • 88x, 890, 895
  • 900, 1000, 1000i, 1100
  • 200, 300
  • One, Link, Xbox, AV-100, TC30

Instructions:

  1. Plug the awake remote into your PC via USB.
  2. Download Concordance:
  1. Open the install folder in Command Prompt/Terminal and run: concordance -w -c backup.ezhex
  2. DM me the .ezhex file along with a brief list of the devices your remote is configured to communicate with.

Thanks!

Is it still possible to set up a Harmony 700?

The title says it all: I have an unused Harmony 700 that was still in the box. Is it still possible to at least get it sort of working?

New To These - Are They Still Worth It?

Like the title says, kinda new to these remotes from searching for a solution to my multi remote issues

I have an LG BX Tv, Marantz Avr, and Nvidia Shield, I would love to consolidate into 1 remote

With the software seemingly being pulled by Logitech, are these still worth picking up second hand?

Samsung S90F and Harmony Hub

I have a Logitech Harmony hub and I'm trying to get it to work with my new Samsung S90F.

Everything seems to work except it won't switch inputs. It seems to work when I do it manually, by clicking on the TV in devices and selecting the correct HDMI input. However, it won't work when I do it as part of a routine.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: I got it to work by switching to a S90D TV model. Everything was good after that.

Progress update on reverse-engineering the Logitech Harmony 900 configuration files

Hello there! Quick update on the Harmony 900 reverse-engineering project I posted about a while back asking people to send .ezhex dumps.

The reverse-engineering side is basically done. I can now build a config from scratch - no Logitech servers involved - flash it to my own Harmony 900 over USB, and have it work exactly like it worked before.

With the file format solved, the next phase is an actual GUI so you don't have to use a script to make a config. Plan is a wizard-style flow: pick your devices, assign buttons, build activities, export a ready-to-flash `.ezhex` - basically what the old software did, minus the dependency on Logitech's servers.

Alongside that, I'll be setting up a GitHub repo where people can contribute and pull device configs, so instead of everyone reverse-engineering their own gear from scratch, we build a shared library of TVs, receivers, cable boxes, yada yada, that the wizard can just pull from.

Once the tool is further along I'll post again with something people can actually try. If anybody, drop a comment and I'll follow up when there's a build.

I've attached images of the actual device working with one of my handmade configs

Thanks!

Edit: if you have any Logitech remote that's supported by concordance, find my previous post on the subreddit and dump the config, then send it over. If the remote is similar in configuration to the 900 it will get support too easily, but without a dump I wouldn't be able to know for sure. Theoretically the 1000 and similar are supported but Im not totally sure

Kind of disappointed

So, I've had a Harmony Elite remote for several years. Like the experience of many folks on the Logitech forum, the Harmony had always been sort of buggy, occasionally refusing to work for no apparent reason. So, when I learned that Logitech was abandoning the Harmony, I began to research alternatives. Sofabaton kept on coming up, and seemed like a good successor.

My wife got me the X1S for my birthday. Over the course of a very long day, I came to a stunning conclusion: the "magic remote" that came with my 2024 LG TV would do everything I possibly needed.

This came as a surprise because I'd effectively written off any remote that came with a device, believing a universal remote (first, various iterations of the Harmony and now the X1S) would be the best solution.

And it all happened by accident.

I made a separate post on this forum a few hours ago regarding this weird password screen I'd never seen before. A kind Redditor explained that this was actually a hidden service menu on my LG TV that I'd never seen (this is my second LG TV, and I never saw it on that one, either). Somehow, the Sofabaton remote caused this password screen to pop up at weird times, and the only way I could find to dismiss it was by using the LG remote. When I entered the magic password, I got an entire screen of stats, and then the TV completely reset. Well, crap.

Frustrated, I began using the LG Magic Remote to set up the TV and my whole system, and everything just...worked, making the new X1S superfluous. So I'm pretty sure I'm sending it back.

So, why did I label this post "disappointed"? Well, there were a few things that struck me as odd about the Sofabaton. In no particular order:

  1. the display screen on the remote was in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, with no readily easy way to switch it to English. I followed a couple different sets of instructions I found online to change the language (usually involving changing the language on the app to something else then back to English and syncing the remote). It never worked. What I ended up doing, which, while I kind of impressed myself that it worked, I still found unacceptable. I ended up using Google Translate on my phone and aimed the camera at the remote screen, with "detect language" selected. I then was able to get into the settings and change the remote to English. I mean, it was kind of cool to be able to do that, but it also seemed pretty dumb that I had to, given what the remote cost.

  2. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the X1S to recognize my Sony Blu-Ray player. The database had two entries for the unit I own (a relatively new piece, maybe two years old, so it's not like it was an old unit or something).

  3. The app itself seems a little spare with some funky turns of phrase here and there, but the fact that it appears that the app does everything the remote does, it begs the question: why do I even need the remote? I guess I was expecting more of the Harmony Elite experience on the X1S.

So, that's basically the scoop. Unless anyone can tell me why I should keep it and use it rather than use the Magic Remote that came with my LG TV, I'll be returning it to Amazon shortly.

My G920 steering wheel doesn't work on my Xbox Series S

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Logitech G920 on the Xbox Series S and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

The steering wheel restarts and recalibrates whenever I press the pedals—mainly when I push the accelerator past the halfway point of its travel, though it happens with the brake and clutch as well. It shuts off for a moment, re-centers, and starts working again, but the problem keeps recurring.

This happens both in-game and on the Xbox home screen. On PC, using Logitech G HUB, the wheel and pedals work normally without restarting.

I’ve already tried using different USB ports on the Xbox and different power outlets, left the console and wheel unplugged for a long time, updated the firmware, and checked the cables and pedal wiring. I am using the original power supply.

Has anyone else had this exact problem? In your case, was the fault with the power supply, the USB breakaway cable, the pedal set, the pedal connector, or an issue with the Xbox itself? How did you resolve it?

Has anyone found a fix for this error message when opening MyHarmony?

The software previously had worked on this device, although I hadn’t used it in a while. Running Windows 11.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result. I get the initial blue splash screen in the background, but doesn’t get to the login screen.

Moving my Harmony Hub to new WiFi in 2026

I’m using a Logitech One and Harmony Hub. Although the servers went down last year everything still works - I just can’t change any settings. This month I needed to upgrade my WiFi and I’d like to move the Hub over to it, however I’m concerned about a couple things.

  1. Will pressing the pair/reset button on the hub erase my settings?
  2. Does the Connect feature still work now that the servers are down?

Buying a harmony remote in 2026

What’s the latest info on the servers?

Which products can still be used via the desktop app and which can’t? What’s the dividing line between can/cant?

Interested in picking up a 900 for use with a Samsung TV and Xbox Series X. It has some features, if still possible to set up, that I like.

If that is no longer programmable, are the newer ones my only option?

A new universal remote hub

Hey all. I’ve taken a lot of the feedback from the community here into building my universal remote hub. It’s finally launching (tomorrow), so I’m a bit excited.

It's designed local-first (BLE or LAN). So the intention is that you never have to depend on our servers to run it. Features include macros, code learning, custom remote interfaces, button mappings, an instant remote for family and guests, permissions system, etc..

I hope to continue to gather feedback from you all even if you don’t back it. One of the stretch goals is to develop a physical remote that pairs with it. Super excited to develop this as it will have some pretty cool features IMO

Anyways, I’d love if you’d take a look at the page and just let me know your thoughts.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/openinfrared/388917959?ref=9yym7i&token=bf41bf77

Still the early days but the vision is for the things we build to exist beyond us developing it. To leave behind IR databases, source code, a community, but these goals are a work in progress as now we are just trying to get off the ground.

Harmony hub stopped working with Alexa after automatic Alexa+ upgrade

Around July 11, 2026 my echo dots automatically updated to Alexa+. Similar to the trial months ago, this caused my commands for the Harmony hub to stop working.

I put off trying to fix this until the next day. Surprisingly, it worked next day without me changing anything.

So, it appears it takes several hours (up to 24?) for the Alexa+ upgrade to complete and get sync'd with Harmony.

If it doesn't autocorrect for you, there are posts like this one that may help.
