I've posted in a few spots as comments and DM'd a few Devs directly but it seems there are multiple people publicly and stealthily developing Apps for those who's remotes have stopped working and those of us who's remotes will likely soon stop working.

This weekends outage of Logitechs servers finally convinced me I should make a dedicated post so this is easier for people to find.

I believe I have a complete mirror of Logitechs IR Database including protocols for how to decode the IR codes, timings, etc. as of 2026-10-05.

Now that I've posted this, the risk of DMCA is higher so I'd recommend mirroring a copy if you intend to use it with your app.

My hope is this will help app developers get their apps out quicker and save them the time consuming process of figuring out how to archive the codes and eliminate the need for their apps to talk to Logitech at all.

Hello, I am cleaning out my old shop and came across a few interesting things. This being one of them - if somebody wants to cover shipping, I’ll give this to somebody for free within the US.

How many times have you torn the house apart for the original remote just to reprogram one button? Now multiply that by the Harmony shutdown, where a whole community lost their setups when the cloud went dark. Gamers don't accept that — they dump a game once and it's preserved forever. Our remotes deserve the same.

That's the idea I built around. The web tools are free and need no account:

Signal Transporter moves your codes from an old remote file onto a new layout — click-pair or auto-match, no re-learning. Built specifically for people migrating off Harmony.

A signal editor/converter that eats 11 formats (Flipper Zero, LIRC, Pronto, BroadLink, etc.) and an online remote builder.

The largest remote database online — 700,000+ codes, 7,800+ brands — for when the original remote is long gone.

Everything saves as a small .irc file you actually own — back it up, share it, trade it. No cloud, no lock-in. Works with a cheap $7 USB-C blaster, your phone's IR, or a BroadLink.

A while back ago I picked up this harmony elite (model number N-R0010) for dirt cheap I rushed and didn’t do any research before I checked out. I didn’t realize that this model needs a hub to work. Is there any work around for making this model work without the hub? Or is it a paperweight at this point? If it is then I’ll see it somewhere for parts. But anytime I try connecting the remote to my computer (Mac os) old outdated my harmony app it says it needs the hub to configure the remote. If anyone can help me out or point me in right direction on how I can connect it without using the hub I’d greatly appreciate it.
