How risky?
If i bought it, i would sell the 5090 and put a good 1440p card in.

I bought a 7800xt 16gb for 350
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to decide the best way to flip a prebuilt I currently have and wanted some experienced opinions before I spend money on it.
MSI Aegis R
CPU: Intel Core i7-13700F
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB
Motherboard: MSI OEM B760 (LGA1700)
RAM: 16GB DDR5-4800 (2×8GB)
Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD
PSU: 650W 80+ Gold
Cooling: MSI tower air cooler
Case: MSI Aegis R chassis
Networking: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, 2.5Gb Ethernet
OS: Windows 11 Home
💡 My idea
I found an ASUS RTX 4070 Super Dual for $450 locally.
My plan would be:
Buy the 4070 Super
Install it into this PC
Sell the RTX 4060 separately
Sell the upgraded PC as a 4070 Super system
❓ My question
From a flipping perspective:
👉 Is this actually worth doing for profit?
or
👉 Am I better off just selling the PC as-is with the 4060?
I’m trying to figure out:
If the GPU swap actually increases total resale value enough after fees/time
Or if I’m just tying up cash for little/no gain
📊 My rough thinking (feel free to correct me)
4070 Super upgrade cost: $450
RTX 4060 resale: ~$200–$250
Expected PC value increase: unsure (maybe +$150–$300?)
🙏 Would appreciate feedback on:
Whether 4070 Super builds actually sell fast in today’s market
If buyers even care about GPU upgrades in prebuilts
Whether flipping GPU separately is better ROI
Or if I should just list the system as-is and move on
Thanks in advance — trying to avoid wasting time/money on a flip that looks better on paper than in reality.
Is it worth picking up a 4070 Super for $300, and how much can I resell it for?

PC2
MSI Aegis R

I need to sell one and keep one. I spent 1200 and traded a PS5 for both and want to recover as much money as possible.
I have some questions about Ryzen 5700X3D+RTX 5080 64gb ddr4 PC vs 7800X3D+RTX 4080 32gb DDR5 PC
Which one will perform better and which one do you think will sell better. They are separate PC listings on Facebook marketplace and I am thinking of picking up one to flip. Both are the same specs besides the CPU, ram, and GPU. Same 850w PSU and 2tb SSD, they are listed at 1600$ USD. I was thinking of selling either PC for about 2500$ USD after rebuilding them into nicer cases
I recently spotted a really good deal on an i5-13600f, arc a750, 32gb ddr5 and a b760i for ~730 USD. I was wondering if I were to part it out and keep the ram, how would I sell the GPU? The arc series were ridden with a lot of driver issues, so would selling it be hard? And what price would it sell at? Would appreciate any advice, thanks!
In the last two weeks I've picked up the following builds.
I sold the first build to a friend at cost and helped him put a 9060xt 16gb into it, we used the 2070 super to upgrade his son's pc, so there was no profit there but it was fun to help a friend.
The second build I've already sold everything but the mobo, case, and psu, made $350 profit so far
3rd and 4th builds I just picked up yesterday so I haven't touched those yet.
stay on that marketplace grind y'all!
MSI RTX 4070 Super Ventus 3X OC, local pickup, DMV area. Listed at $450. Photos show it still wrapped in plastic, no dust or wear, basically untouched.
Used 4070 Supers are going for $550-600 on eBay right now, so there’s a solid $100-150 in it at asking, more if you can talk the price down.
Still live as of tonight.
Not affiliated with the seller, just sharing since it’s a good one. Happy to send the listing link if anyone wants it.

I’m trying to sell my pc right now, for $2100
The specs:
Ryzen 9800x3d
Asus prime 5070
32gb ddr5 6000mghz
Tyrx panoramic 360mm aio
1050w psu
Lian li case and fans
Aorus x870e
2tb ssd
I’ve gotten a offer for $1700 but that’s too low imo, ChatGPT says it’s in the right price range, but it’s hard to find people trustworthy to buy this, not to mention I’m not getting many messages that arent lowballs. Everything I’ve received so far has been under 1.4k.
Edit: I got this pc for about 1.6k from someone else thru a trade and cash on top. I have my main pc with a 7800x3d and a pny 5070
I think maybe I should sell the gpu separately and part out a few pieces such as the aio and fans too, but it’s kinda a hassle
Need a price estimate (USD) for my gaming PC.
Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (6 Cores / 12 Threads)
AMD Radeon RX 6800 16GB
32GB DDR5 5200MHz RAM
2TB SSD
B650 Motherboard
650W/750W Power Supply
Wi-Fi & Ethernet
Windows 11 Pro
Condition:
Around 3 years old
Runs perfectly with no issues
Great for 1080p and 1440p gaming.
I’m looking for a price estimate in USD. What do you think it’s worth, and what would be a good listing price versus a realistic selling price?
Selling for over $400!!! No offers under $400!!!
I figured $350 was a decent price for selling this build, but the laugh react is making me question it. The GPU is a Yeston 3050 which sells for $250ish by itself once you consider shipping. Tbh if I parted this out I'd probably get about $350 back.
Like yeah, it's not the best "gaming" PC, but for the form factor it's basically high end. Is my price really that crazy? Or am I just overthinking it?
Snagged on marketplace for $800. Cleaned the heck out of it and gave her a breath of fresh air. Hopefully she can make someone happy for a few more years.
I9 10900k
PNY 3090 24GB
1TB Samsung ssd
32GB DDR4
NZXT C1000 PSU
And a couple new Artic fans
EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra 24GB, local pickup, DMV area. Was listed at $1,100, dropped to $900. Seller says gaming only, never mined.
Used RTX 3090s are moving around $1,000–1,050 on eBay right now so there’s $100–150 in it at asking, more if you negotiate down.
Still live as of this morning.

Hello there people, so I have the possibility to take this bad boy for 150 bucks home but I am not sure what to do with it… should I make a build with it and then resell it or just resell as it is?
I remember that it got also a dedicated graphics card but is an intel arc a310 so….. yeah not big deal but still;
I am curious to hear from you!
Hey everyone,
I’m curious what this PC would realistically be worth as a flip in the Canadian market. What would you list it for, and what selling price would you realistically expect?
Also, for those of you who flip PCs in Canada, what types of builds have been working best for you lately? (e.g. budget gaming PCs, mid-range, high-end, AM4 vs. AM5, Intel vs. Ryzen, etc.) I’d love to hear what’s been selling well in your local market. Thanks
Specs :

msi b550 a pro
This fella was selling a pc on behalf of someone who unfortunately passed away for 400£, I thought I was a good deal for that price but he told me it was broken. He wasn't very sure what the problem was so I offered 50£ for it. Whoever was in charge of this guys stuff agreed and I picked it up for that price, turns out there where a bunch of weird bios setting preventing it from booting into windows so I just did a clean install after resetting the bios to default and it all worked fine. I couldn't believe it as I had to sell my other pc not long ago to make rent as I'm super broke. The aio was cooked so I replaced it and put some new fans and led strips inside. Total cost was 38£.
I feel super lucky, but also a bit bad that I paid so little, what are your guys opinions?
Rip previous owner, I'm super grateful.
Specs
i7 10700k

I think it's an Msi prebuilt as it has Msi "creator" written on the side and the case, motherboard, fans and gpu are all Msi.
