[US-MI] [H] PayPal [W] Hello-Kitty Key Caps

Hi! I’m looking for some hello kitty keycaps for wife for her surprise custom setup, I’m looking to hopefully have them before the 20th, I would’ve ordered the ones from JoorKey but due to time it wouldn’t of been feasible (didn’t realize how long some of these kits take to produce… rookie mistake)

If anyone can help me find some and get me a good price on them it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Got a steal. $300

[pic one]
Purchased for $300
This system has the listed specs
Ryzen 5 5500G
1660 super
40 gb DDR4 < this is what caught my eye
1.3TB of storage < also caught my eye.

Turns out the seller after purchase bought a 1TB micron NVME SSD, and a 32 GB corsair vengeance pro RGB ram, those alone are worth damn near what I paid. Along with the stock 515gb NVME and 8gb of ddr4

Haven’t decided on if I should part it out or just sell the ram and ssd separately, guess we’ll see the offers I get for the system.

[pic two]
Got this system for $150
10400F
1650 super
8gb ddr4
240gb ssd 1TB HDD
Not built with OEM parts

This system was being sold by a young man looking to get a dirtbike and knows nothing about PCs, was fully functional, but didn’t like video games, was a gift from a family member, he initially wanted $175 but then asked for $150 if I picked it up that day. Had no antenna or case screws, I threw on the extra screws I had. Sold for $340 the next day!

Mangmi pocket max review (2)

I know I made a previous review bashing this thing, specifically for customer support (not fixing an issue that should’ve been fixed at this point in its life), and device issues. The team has since gotten back to me and helped resolve the issue.
This was the email I received last night:

“During the joystick calibration process, a relatively large outer dead zone was reserved. As a result, the joystick can reach approximately 95% of the maximum value on the test page before the input is registered as fully activated.

The X and Y axes may also show slightly different behavior. This is because the maximum and minimum values recorded for the X and Y axes during calibration are not exactly the same. The difference is approximately 150–300 data points, and the outer dead zone further amplifies the difference between the two axes.

Our technical team has prepared a APK that reduces the outer dead zone. With this updated version, the joystick should only be recognized as fully activated when it is pushed to approximately 100% of its physical range.

Please install the APK and then perform the joystick calibration again. This should improve the issue.”

I later then got the new HandheldSettings.apk once installed it updated the app on my handheld, I then did recalibrate my sticks, and didn’t see a difference, figured a restart was in order (it was) and immediately the issue was almost perfectly resolved. The stick now goes to about 95-97% before reading at its peak, for my specific device, however, I also had a significantly worse case compared to the few I’d met with it.

Decided to try warzone again (of course it, along with apex, are my main games to stream rn) and it was an insane difference, night and day. I’ve never messed with hall sensor or tmr sticks, and I can say, these are accurate, and now they’re extremely comfortable, this was quite literally my only reservation with those device, and that’s been met.

So thank you Mangmi for fixing the issue, I personally think if you want a streaming device at this point, it’s 100% worth it for this if you want a PlayStation portal like device… except, you can stream everything, and do other normal android stuff as well.

Vibepollo micro stutters

Last night I saw some posts about vibepollo and an Artemis alternative (which I have not yet tried), I Downloaded vibepollo and installed it in minutes, input latency is better, 10/10.

However now I’m getting frame pacing or micro stutter issues I didn’t have with Apollo, I tried switching back to Apollo and the issue is still present. The image quality has also gotten worse somehow, not significantly, but it’s noticeable. I’ve changed damn near every setting, so I have no idea what the culprit is at this point. Can anyone help me to fix this issue so the stuttering stops happening?

I have verified my system, I play Ghost Of Tsushima on a frame cap and is like my testing game, it gets a LOCKED 60, and shows no stuttering in the fps counter or on the frame time graph, so I figure it’s either the wifi, which is Ethernet, something with my CPU or GPU (i5-11400f, rx 6600 8gb) or my mangmi pocket max.
What do you guys suggest to fix this issue?

EDIT: FIXED!! Thanks yall. Turns out vibepollo wasn’t the issue, may of just uncovered the issue, I prefer it more tbh, has a better input delay. I changed a few buffers, turned off some power saving shit in my Ethernet controller, and boom, problem solved, and found moonlight v+, which is also better, so I’m happier all around.

Mangmi Pocket Max Review (long)

This gets the tag troubleshooting cause that’s what I’m doing.

TLDR: great device, sticks are fucky, support refuses to help due to how I purchased the device.

Let me start with due to the “support” Mangmi offers, I whole heartedly cannot recommend this device, I would love to, it’s damn near perfect, but I will probably be moving to some sort of tablet + controller setup or another Android handheld with full size sticks and an OLED.

Alright let’s get into it.

This device is a both premium and not premium feeling device, the plastic seems weak, it does creak in my hands a bit, specifically if I grip it pretty hard (obviously don’t do that, but I did notice it), but the SCREEN, buttons, triggers and the fact the buttons are hot swappable, make it seem very exceptional, especially for its price point.

I bought this device from someone on discord BNIB (this become important), i got it for about the same as retail, except with much faster shipping, so of course i took it. Again ive loved practically everything with it, and if my biggest issue was handheld, id genuinely say it’s perfect, plasticy feel and all.

I did a review of my Odin 3 and ended up selling it, it was good for what it was, but it wasn’t for me, the sticks, the size, just weren’t it. I wanted something to stream everything to, I don’t really play my switch games that much so that added benefit wasn’t needed, and I’m connected to wifi any time I play any games, so streaming hasn’t been an issue.

The one thing i noticed instantly on any game, was the programming for the sticks, it’s atrociously bad, and I have only seen me with this issue, which makes me believe it is probably software and is able to be fixed. On the vertical axis on both sticks about 80% input registers as 100%, on any software, and any game, and you can’t change it, I’ve recalibrated hundreds of times, dug through the OTA update files, the whole 9, and can’t find anything. This hurts any game that has recoil, or any major sensitivity in those field. It does it on the horizontal axis as well, but not as much, maybe 85-90%, not nearly as noticeable in my opinion. However as you can see, I play warzone, apex, the finals, marvel rivals, all of those are incredibly important to have this be an issue, it hurts gameplay significantly.

I’ve contacted support regarding this issue and they suggest I contact the company I purchase it from, but since I got it from an individual that’s not an option, and I can’t expect them to fix a fault product they didn’t break. They then said they can’t provide ANY support since it wasn’t purchased through them, after me being anything short of understanding cause well, they made the damn device, they said they’d forward it to some other department and I’ve since heard absolutely nothing back.

To help fix the issue they then suggested I reinstall the factory firmware, which is helpfully provided on their website, however, there is 0 instructions on how to install it, and QFIL didn’t do it, which did do it to remove the root on my Odin 3, so I was a little versed in the software. I now have contacted them again, and was given another “sit and wait until we publicly release instructions” as they can’t directly tell me what to do or how to do it… but somehow provided the firmware.

So I love this device, I use it for multiple hours a day with my dedicated streaming pc, and my ps5, and I do like this system a lot. However this specific issue, and the lack of support have made it so I can’t recommend Mangmi at all as a company, which sucks honestly I was excited for this device and have a great deal of fun despite this issue, it however has made me a great deal mad playing warzone in specific, also ironically the game I’m worse at, so I cannot blame the device for my lack of skill.😂

EDIT: I am still actively trying to fix this issue, if you are technical and know how to get this to work properly it would be greatly appreciated!

Pocket max outer dead zone

Just got my pocket max ab 4 hours ago, I got it setup im playing my pc games and the sticks are light, not a huge deal I’ll adjust, however, I notice that the stick on its axis hit the farthest it’ll reach WELL before I’ve hit the edge of the stick, is there a way I’m not seeing to adjust that outer stick dead zone? That would certainly help here a lot.

Do I start?

I’m 22, not a whole lot of life experience in the since of workplace/adult life. I barely scrape by and make practically minimum wage in my area.

Content creation of some sort has always been an on paper dream. I’ve learned entirely how to use after effects, photo shop, and premiere pro, so I do know HOW to make content.

I’m a gaming nerd, PC nerd, car guy, have taken the mentioned digital design classes, and have taken cyber sec and IT classes as well, no certifications in any sadly. I do have some interesting health related issues in my lifetime, which though may make interesting content, will rapidly dry up.

For context at 3 months old I had a brain tumor that made me blind (I am no longer blind), was diagnosed with a heart condition I still have (BAV), I recently had a rather rare tumor in my nose that JUST got removed, small things like that, I’ve had 3 of my dream cars since turning 18, one I sold, one was stolen, and one caught fire.

My stories and skills, though interesting, I don’t see being able to turn to a long term value to viewers, I do watch a guy online who builds and flips PCs, and that’s a huge idea I’d love to explore, gives me excuses to play games more, build more content, and check a few boxes off of lists of ideas I have and never start due to analysis paralysis.. which I suppose I’m dealing with here, plus the lack of funds to start flipping PCs, saving.. slowly -.-

The real question is how do I start? I’ve been so on and off and inconsistent that it makes the challenge of restarting harder each time.

Turbo questions

I’m learning about this platform, as I plan to buy an MQB car soon, and I want to make content and mod the car (always been a dream to be a car content creator) someone on Reddit while I was scrolling said 1) EQTs tuning hasn’t been as good recently and 2) the turbos are just made by the highest bidder on AliExpress/alibaba, and these are the exact same thing. (To be clear the person online said this company produces the same thing, not that this turbo specifically is the exact same)

Are those claims true? I was contemplating going with EQT but I was also heavily interested in IE, and if that’s true, is this a good turbo to go with? I really did want an upgraded turbo with a T51R mod or similar on it, something to make that turbo scream, but I have next to no idea. I come from big motors and superchargers, turbo 4 cylinders aren’t necessarily my strong suit. Just looking for a new daily that I can then make it so I need another new daily and the cycle will repeat… we’ve all been there.

Thanks in advance guys!

iiSU latest update review/impressions

I’ve never once tried, used, or cared about any fancy front ends, I had ES-DE for a bit, it kinda was difficult, but overall was better than the Android standard OS.

Now this is iiSu, the latest front end for Android (I assume pc is coming soon) and let me tell you it’s absolutely amazing, one it’s completely FREE and 2 it fully transports this to a true console. It’s clean, responsive, and super easy to customize.

For those who care for retro games, it has an in built retro achievements tracker, I play more PC/switch/ps3, so that’s not entirely a huge thing for me, but I love the fact that it’s there if I so choose to start playing.

It has widgets, I’ve noticed in my specific system when I try to load Android widgets, it just freaks out, doesn’t like it, don’t know why, don’t care, it’ll probably be fixed.

The clarity on how to customize things isn’t entirely there (like the custom added artwork I have) it takes a little tinkering and messing with, I’m not gonna lie, I started pressing random buttons to get through screens and figured most of it out. The showcase video is what got me to try it, I didn’t follow the dev, just suddenly one day got recommended to me, and I’d like to share it with yall!

You can add ROMs straight to your Home Screen as you see what I got. Which was huge, I JUST did my review of my Odin 3 a few days ago on the Odin handhelds sub reddit, and one of my biggest complaints was having to switch emulators for specific switch games or pc, now I can right on the Home Screen have a rom set to whatever emulator works best, and when you click it, it opens the app, and the rom instantly. I can’t lie I’ve absolutely loved how seamless it is, it made me forget for my super mario wonder gameplay that I was even emulating switch titles, it is seriously that good.

Now of course I can’t just constantly glaze something, it’s an alpha, it has bugs, I’ve mentioned the widgets, however there is another one that reallllyyy frustrates me rn.

Gamehub.
For whatever reason this front end doesn’t see gamehub as an emulator (but does GHL), or .exe files as ROMs, so even though I can add the roms for my n64 games -the 2 I got- and I can add the roms for my switch games, and add my Android apps, I cannot for the life of me add my gamehub games as shortcuts. I would love to see this fixed, as it would be HUGE to me personally, I’ve tried dolphin and it also worked, it’s just the pc option that will not work for whatever reason.
The Android widgets are also broken, and customizing others can be a little confusing at first (this could be dumbass user error tbh, so take that with a huge grain of salt)

However it’s still great, it’s free, I like it a lot more than my old ES-DE front end, though I had completely configured it myself so that’s like me also complaining about disliking the sub from subway sandwhich I got being not good. Overall I like this better for me personally, and love how I can just add ROMs and make it look so nice like this, really polished off the device imo, though I’ve hardly touched the customization options I’m sure, the dev had a discord I have used for Inspiration for my Home Screen, which I suggest you guys also take a look at if you get the app as well!

Odin 3 review —long—

Prior to purchase
I had a Lego 1 and sold it to my brother, it didn’t have proper FSR3/4 support, frame gen, or anything, and it was clunky, so I didn’t keep it. I wanted -and still do- something powerful, really powerful, while being efficient, and playing switch in specific, which of course doesn’t exist. There no is comfortable OLED, and truly portable handheld for sub $1000, and even then, I was trying to stay as cheap as possible going into a new one as I essentially wanted a switch emulation device with future capabilities. I also tried a backbone on my iPhone 15 pro max, my iPhone didn’t like the controller for some reason, and streaming things on iOS is so difficult for no reason, everything I tried was hurdles, less and less support, and killed my battery, which lead to me returning it.

Deciding to purchase
I saw a video on Ryan retro handhelds about emulation, specifically switch, and talking about how good switch emulation is on Android. This was in January, pretty sure at this point he had done a review of the o3(I think) and with it being the latest, great, OLED, and Hall effect sticks, it peaked my interest. At this point I knew NOTHING about handhelds, I just learned about the GPD win 5, and boy did I want one, and I still do, but I couldn’t them justify the price, even now I still can’t, so after seeing the Odin 3 and learning about the very low delay with streaming my pc games from my 4070 laptop, I decided to choose this route as I’m a broke gamer who wants more portability. once I saw the future potential of this handheld and how good it looked, it HAD to be mine.

Purchasing
I bought it from a reseller on eBay, I’m far too impatient to buy something and wait weeks, I’d rather pay the $35-80 markup, which I think I paid $80 more, it was brand new, showed up not even a week after ordering, I work in phone sales, Android isn’t difficult for me at all, so was not a bad start, its premium packaged, came with a “case” and feels good and premium.

Setup (important for new buyers)
-YOU DONT NEED A FRONTEND-
It just makes Android look nice and more console like, it provides no real value beyond that and customizing it. Up until a month ago I didn’t run one. I got it in January.
It’s a basic Android device, think any tablet or Android phone, setup is easy and quick, if you can set those up, you can set one of these up no problem. However it’s not seamless to download emulators, configure settings, those things, even no gamehub and Eden/pc and switch, is still extremely difficult, for any of those a side by side video with any popular YouTuber you like would be best, follow them, and you should be fully done in a day or 2 with every emulator.

Long term (since setup)
I’ve tried dozens of pc games, older CODs, random simulators, RDR2, GTA5, and many random ones since then the new drivers and recent gamehub updates in the last 2-3 months, I’ve also tried a ton of switch games, of which Mario odyssey and tears of the kingdom, have both been extremely troublesome, on both Eden and Eden nightly.
Let me be clear, every other switch game has worked that I’ve tried, and many pc games have worked, and with a 120hz screen even a consistent 30 feels smooth.

Problems
My only real gripes are low read/write speeds to the sd card, which makes extracting things a huge pain, could be my card of choice tho, mods don’t always work with pc games -to be expected considering were converting x86 to work on arm. Also the Nintendo switch games, I really want Mario odyssey and TOTK to work properly, a stable 30 (or 60, won’t complain) without glitches, in Mario’s defense it does a 60 stable, just weird graphic flashes, and TOTK I can’t get stable, and there’s graphical flashes, Eden nightly is more stable for that one. Which I guess leads to my next gripe. THE MIXING AND MATCHING OF EMULATORS is so frustrating, I hate that I need multiple switch, and 3-5 pc emulators to constantly try things, it can be very tiring and frustrating trying to troubleshoot. I have kind of just resorted to Eden, and gamehub, and I hardly use the nightly/modded versions, just cause it gets too much to remember what for what game. This can be resolved, or so i believe, by using a front end to create a shortcut for whatever game, on whatever emulator, so you don’t mix/match or have to remember, just click and it opens that respective one.
I also guess I could include the fan/heat issues, though really non issues to me, I put on an undervolt, rooted the device, and play Fortnite as well with no issues.

The overall verdict
I love this thing. I use it daily, sometimes for hours and hours, recently I got a nose surgery that forced me out of work at my sales job for 2 weeks, wrongfully, and unpaid, also illegal in my state, but that’s a hassle for another day, and a story for another day.
This device does everything I love, and I have been streaming my ps5 with no issues, would even love to stream my pc, I just can’t seem to get it to work right, which I will eventually learn again. Been contemplating building a bc-250 and finding a way to stream that to the Odin of possible, would be an awesome way to game. I love tinkering, I also love how small and light it is, the screen genuinely looks better than the 4k lcd tv I have at home. This device has been by far my favorite used device, and once I find a way to play pc games at high settings 1080p it’ll replace like all my devices, and I strongly suggest one.

VL percentage?

Been playing the last few days and today and yesterday I keep having lag spikes, huge FPS drops and major distortion, not often, maybe every 15 mins or so, and specifically at home when I’m at work no issues.

When it happens the VL percentage spikes, sometimes up and over 50%, what is it? What’s it mean? How do I keep it extremely stable? My download speeds are well into the 300s, and if I’m correct upload is between 30-60+ at any given day

The AYN Odin 3 has become an anchor for me.

I made a post a few days ago talking about how sweet my Odin 3 is. That of course hasn’t changed. Today I’m seeing videos about the g3 extreme and how good it is, and it did have me wanting to buy one, til i remembered the price of these devices is expected to be $1500+, and i can stream my ps5 with no headaches, even on my personal hotspot (sadly have to downscale to 720p for that), and im looking for a software that works like PxPlay but for my windows laptop so i can use that 4070 performance wherever as well. Which entirely makes me realize that unless its extremely specific circumstances, I don’t need a $1500+ gaming pc handheld rn, and it making me realize how you can use what you have, but I also have a beautiful 120hz OLED, so I can’t really complain, with its pixel density, and the color contrast it actually beats my 4k tv at home anyway lol.

Anyone else had a recent realization like this?

Why the Odin 3 is the best Android handheld

Beyond the obvious SD 8 elite hype, there also the fact that this device goes on sale all the time, and with AI and chip shortages constantly, this cheap device for portable gaming is almost a must have. The more I’ve had and used it the more I’ve loved it, at first I hated it, I couldn’t use my pc streaming apps as they just purely don’t work, I’ve tried everything and could never get good performance (recently learned of parsec and will try it). Then there’s PS/PX-Play, I just tried this app for the first time, and for $7 it’s a no brainer, this device even with Linux support cannot natively play any anticheat game like CoD, The Finals, or Apex legends, however now with PXPlay and the perfect usability with streaming and a lan connection, I can, the sharpness and quality is not comparable to anything else.

And then there’s PC gaming, which I cannot stream my pc games, which does suck, but since most of my pc games are free to play anyway, I can just stream them, and it plays pretty much anything else with the driver support, I’ve played all of Spiderman remastered, I’m playing RDR2, GTAV, with no issues, and there’s many others people are playing, the device does have its limitations, but it really does feel like a portable console now.

The final one, which is huge for a handheld in my opinion, is switch games. It does that well, very well, I play just about any of my switch games with next to no issues, paired with the beautiful OLED that is on it. It has remade some games for me, it has the size similar to a switch lite, with a much better screen and better comfort, unfortunately it is a little loud at times, and that’s where utilizing underclocks, or undervolts helps.

Then there’s the UI, I’m personally an IOS fan, so I got ES-DE for a front end, but there’s free alternatives that do as well, I got a ps5 theme on it currently however I’m thinking of switching it up, and it looks, feels, and runs extremely nicely, it’s pretty much a console at this point, and does:
Light pc gaming
Ps portal use
Nintendo switch use
All in one, and pretty much any other emulation you want

I’ve grown to love it since my purchase in January, I’ve had some gripes, some concerns, and some things that are slowly changing, such as streaming, pc games, which it seems like every week there’s a breakthrough, and switch emulation, all of those have been overcome or are consistently being improved. The only thing this thing needs are a grip, and in my opinion, some better sticks, Hall effect, TMR, whatever, and full size caps to improve the range of motion, so I can have Better accuracy!

If you have any stick/grip recommendations lmk! Looking for a good combo for my Odin

Input delay on Android

I just got the app, I wish something like this for PC existed as it’s BY FAR the easiest setup and streaming for remote use I’ve ever had.

I setup my ps5 to connect via Ethernet to my router, no issues there, however there’s a slight amount of delay wether I’m at home or using remote, it’s not absolutely ridiculous like other apps, I’ve configured settings, set things to lowest latency, increased bitrate, did some lower latency controller setting I saw online, and I’m not getting much help.

I play on an AYN Odin 3, is there anything else I should do to lower that input latency? Video wise it’s by far the best and looks equivalent to my 4k TV, except my Odin is an OLED, which I am by far loving, just wanna lower that latency specifically for the few FPS games I play. Any help is appreciated!

Custom BC-250 handheld

Well the title breaks it down pretty well, looking to possibly build a bc-250 handheld, shaped similar to a legion go s, maybe a steamdeck, no idea exactly how yet as I’m figuring some things out and would love community support.

Power: was considering ditching the battery or copying GPD’s and OnexFly’s approach to an external battery, was thinking we could create a barrel jack system instead.

Screen: would of course love any openly available 1080p OLED, preferably 7-8.5”

Board: (main issue) can the board be cut in any way that people are aware of? Would love to know if that’s possible, the smaller we can make it the better.

Cooling: was thinking of copying GPDs approach with the laptop fans, maybe bigger, or a higher fan size and vapor chamber approach, what really dictates the cooling is the size of the PCB and how small we can make that, which will allow us to modify those variable in CAD or other software when rendered out.

Profile: I don’t expect this to be a small and easily portable device, tbh I haven’t decided if making it like a laptop style device with a kickstand, and the ability to add a controller such as really any clamp on, or make it an all in one device.

I plan to have this be a very open source project as we can make mods to it for everyone, and with the boards being inexpensive I feel like this is a great way to make a potentially really upgraded steamdeck or really cool budget portable gaming system. Would love any help I can get and any idea of known info to contribute would be amazing!
