Map of the U.S if Manifest Destiny lasted 17 years longer for fewer expansions in West Africa and Oceania (+ Map of the U.S in 2026)

LORE:

Right before and after the Mexican–American War and Polk's Plan for Mexico, Manifest Destiny, in this alternate timeline, lasted longer for 17 years for fewer expansions in the Caribbean (Cuba is already included after Polk's Plan ITL) which is the North region of Haiti (after U.S intervention in the Haitian Revolution), West and East region of Jamaica (West Jamaica is renamed Isle of Westmoreland meanwhile East Jamaica is renamed Isle of Portland), San Francisco de Macoris (Dominican Republic) (renamed and translated San Francisco of Macoris, a satelite island of the U.S), Liberia (renamed Little America and becoming a U.S autonomy) the West Coast (New Zealand) and Western Australia and Northern Territory (Australia) (later Westralia after U.S intervention in the Eureka Stockade Rebellion as an escalation during Manifest Destiny).

The three Celtic nations

The map is inspired by WTF CD Foxy's videos Ireland in Czechia and Serbia in France.

For the context of the map, nations here refers only to independent countries. Wales, Scotland, Cornwall and Isle of Man also exist as in reality (but they speak Polish together with local Celtic languages).

You can see basic information about these countries as wel.

What if Asian settlers reached the West coast of North America before Europeans?

Reuploading with new map

History:

China colonized the west coast of North America and Hawaii. Russia expanded into NW Canada and Alaska. Mexico was weaker without the Chinese controlled West Coast and was unable to stop the secession of Texas. The British expanded South from Canada into the Great Lakes region after being cut off from the West Coast. The United States, without the West Coast and crucial Northern states, was forced to accept the Confederacy's secession. They at once formed a treaty with the Texas Republic, building on their shared love of states rights and slavery, which protected Texas from the growing power of Mexico. The weak US was unable to expand westward and so much of the Great Plains region was split between the Texas Republic and British Canada. With no single dominant force, Mexico maintained their control of the Southwest-Central region apart from the Chinese-owned areas.

Modern-day:

In this timeline, British Canada, Mexico and the Chinese dominate the Continent, while the weaker nations/territories rely on strategic alliances to remain independent. The US maintains important trade with the French, while East Siberia is protected by the Russian government. The Texas Republic ships beef and oil to the Confederate States in exchange for protrction from Mexico.

The continent is on the brink of war as Mexico and the US are discussing an invasion of the Texas Republic and Confederate States. Simultaneously, Mexico and British Canada are discussing a seperate invasion of the US, where BC would give up Nebraska in exchange for military aid in annexing New York.

Map of the United States, circa 2026 (With 80 States resembling the 80–Star US Flag)

LORE:

Declaring independence right after breaking free and defeating the British in the American Revolution, winning both the War of 1812, the Mexican–American War and becoming militarist in the American Civil War, the United States becomes a continental superpower in North America, becoming a sole protector in NATO and the United Nations (U.N.) in post–WW2, Cold War and modern–day politics, meanwhile Russia, China, Iran and Israel ITL (In this Timeline) are current political rivalries and the U.S' political partners in today's politics are Britain, France, Japan and Palestine, however..

The "Port of Acapulco" in 2025 (80 years after the Axis victory in WW2: Remade)

Following the Axis victory on June 10, 1947, and given that Mexico was part of the Allies, Japan planned to occupy and Japanize (Kōminka) the city of Acapulco. However, knowing they would face even greater resistance from the city and Mexico itself, as well as the loss of a potentially valuable ally, the Japanese decided to make a more pragmatic and realistic proposal.

During the peace signing that same year, the "Acapulco Agreement" was signed by President Miguel Alemán Valdés. In exchange for recognition of Mexican neutrality, limited access to the Japanese market, and profit sharing, Mexico would grant a 99-year lease over the southern port district and bay, thus establishing the Akapuruko-kō (アカプルコ港).

(This is the general lore, ask me if you want to know other things)

Federation of Canaan

Idealized One-State Solution for the ever-lasting conflict in the Levant. Benjamin Netanyahu is arrested and the genocide in Gaza ended by UN Peacekeepers. The State of Israel as we know it is disbanded, and holy land is reorganized into the Federation of Canaan.

Split up in a similar manner to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canaan is a loose federation between an Israeli state and a Palestinian state, along with the newly established Federal District around Jerusalem/al-Quds. All ethnic groups are equal under the law, and the states are required to provide government services in both Hebrew and Arabic regardless of majority ethnicity.

German Empire, 1963

Note:
This map is based on the 1914 German Empire map created by Karl (u/preussenarchiv), used with the author's permission. All alternate historical borders, territorial revisions, political entities, worldbuilding, and additional cartographic work are my own. Every territorial change, administrative division, and political entity has been designed to create a historically plausible alternate timeline rather than a simple territorial expansion.

Lore:
This map depicts the German Empire in 1963 within an alternate historical timeline in which Germany and the Central Powers emerged victorious in the Great War, preventing the outbreak of a Second World War.
The decades following the Great War were marked by increasing demands for political liberalization, regional autonomy, and administrative reform from across the Empire, its associated monarchies, and its overseas possessions. These pressures ultimately culminated in the Constitutional Reform of 1953 (Verfassungsreform von 1953), transforming the Empire into a modern federal parliamentary monarchy while preserving the imperial federal structure established in 1871. By 1963, the Empire consists of four kingdoms, eight grand duchies, five duchies, seven principalities, and three free cities. Beyond its federal borders, Germany maintains a sphere of influence through the Kingdom of Poland, the Kingdom of Lithuania, and the United Baltic Duchy, while its overseas empire has evolved into a network of self-governing protectorates and dominions.

America the Broken

I based this map on the "what if" scenario that Washington DC and the primary federal infrastructure were fissioned out of existence one day in the mid-'90s. Immediately after, the individual states would likely try to continue operating independently, but very quickly the uneven distribution of resources across the country would cause each region to start forming new joint governments with their neighbors. Existing borders would blur along the lines of supplies and major utilities, and natural borders would become more sustainable. It doesn't immediately turn into all out civil war. Trade, treaties, and annexation likely would be just as prevalent in the reshaping of the nation.

Feel free to ask me questions or tell me all the ways you think I'm crazy. I think I have decently valid reasons for the more extreme decisions, but I'd love to know why I'm wrong.

1635 map of Atlantis (My first fantasy map)

Hello, thanks for visiting my post.

This is my first ever fantasy map so please offer lots of criticism and ways to improve.

I tried to recreate what I imagine as the kingdom of Atlantis, located in the North Atlantic. The map is based off of 17th century styles.

I made the map in IBIS Paint app for mobile.

Percentage of the population of European countries with some migrant background from Africa, the Middle East or South Asia☪️☪️☪️☪️

Note: Germany, if we add the European migrant population, easily reaches 20%. In Spain, if we add the Latin American population, it still reaches 20%.

A map of a greater Italy under a semi-monarchist/fascist regime.

I didn't put too much thought into this, but I guess this works for now. Italy conquered Croatia and some parts of France and Switzerland. This isn't the best, but not the worst tbh.

The Macedon Empire according to my view, note that this is just meant to represent how far Macedonia would go if it reached its full potential.

It's not the best representation, but this is giving you a good look on what if Ancient Macedonia unlocked its full potential and conquered more territories. I think they would at least reach India and China, but I didn't want to add China and India because that would look too hypernationalistic (Greeks love to claim Macedon owned more than it did).
