Whoever is approving the removal of all of the trees by the 400 bridge needs to be fired. I don’t know what the purpose is but it looks heinous and makes the area look dead. What do y’all think about it? I can’t be the only one that thinks this

Edit: I understand it’s for express lanes, which some people may think is necessary but the foliage is being removed all the way past the police department and as far down as the bridge over the Chattahoochee.

Can any Redditors provide some first or second hand experience with youth boys volleyball in Roswell? 8th grade is most relevant. I see that TK and A5 are local to me (distance I'm willing to drive -- tsunami looks too far).

Any recommendations for (less conservative) churches? My wife and I are looking for a congregational home for our family. Somewhere that would be accepting of gay folks without making them feel like a project that needs to be fixed.

I am looking for some fellow folks (late twenties to early 40’s) to play some music with in Alpharetta/Roswell who would enjoy forming a low stakes, informal acoustic band. 

Main purpose is for hanging and playing together but maybe a low key gig or two in future, but nothing with pressure or schedules. We all at this age have jobs, young kids, etc - this is strictly for fun. 

I used to be a professional studio musician (guitarist and vocals), but would love to find some other (somewhat experienced) musicians/performers my age to hang and play with; guitarists, especially a slide player, stand up bassist, other string instrumentalists and singers who’d be interested. 

I think covers across genres would be fun (I personally listen to a lot of Jason Isbell, Sturgill, Rolling Stones, Eagles, etc or anything fun to “folk-ify”). 

I recently moved from Dallas, TX so am looking for music and new friends so this seemed like a fun way to seek both!

Does anyone know who to contact to have a utility cable buried? There has been a cable laying in my street for months with these crappy rubber numbers that won’t stay connected. I’m worried if I don’t keep adjusting the stupid bumpers it’s going to get damaged.

I looked at all the requests types in the Roswell gov app and none seemed to fit. I suspect it’s possibly ATT or Spectrum but there wasn’t any stickers, logos, or numbers on the boxes on ether end that I could call.

I am looking for places in my area to camp. I'm evicted from the place I'm staying. My friend let me crash for a few months well I had a job at goodwill. For the last month I've been personally contacting housing, my SSI case which they closed due to me not having enough work hours. I moved here for treatment at Sylvia brathman for addiction and several mental health issues that I had before addiction. Just an unhealthy coping strategy I picked up due to my ex.

That progrom made me leave treatment since I was stable within 2 days of notice that my insurance wouldn't pay for higher level care. They wanted to send to their other lower level progrom in florida. I didnt want that so I did a quick move to New view recovery center progrom. I had a relepse and a month later they moved me back to detox. They moved me in a day to hawwissa. I was there for about 2-3 months. I didn't need the card but I surence paid and it was nice. Very accommodating for my nerodivent issues.

I was moved to Peachtree Corners after for sober living/iop . I left that progrom Dec 5th 2025.

During janery that ice storm hit and my partner broke up with me. Left me in a hotel with no transportion and no access to anything. I let my work know cause I was working at goodwill. Expecting I would get some help. I didn't. I actually got fired. Went in for my shit and got a text well I was in the Uber to go back home "your fired" from my soft manger for the back.

I have been staying in Roswell near the mills with a friend. I am safe. He has MS so I help him out around the house.

I had an eps with si a few weeks ago. He got scared since I did leave with nothing. He texted his mom and my mom to contact me. I did go back that day since my mother said she would pay for my pysc appointment and my meds for this month.

His mother is claiming that she broke his trust with the rules. Mind you these rules are insane, controlling and he does use his school money for rent.

Last week his mother wrote out an eviction letter for another program I contacted that fell through.

I have contacted every progrom and most are closed, overun, or just filled with people I can not associate myself with die to my other issues.

I also take medextuon so I'm worried if someone find that it will end bad. Some the meds you can abuse if you know what you are doing. Trust me the people who are actually living in shelters don't want help. I want help and to settle. I'm so tired of this shit.
