I’ve booked the TVS RTX 300 Top Variant in Tarn Bronze, but the dealer has told me that the Top Variant may take at least 6 months to arrive.

They also said the Base Variant in Pearl White has a 60–70% chance of being available within 2–3 months.

Now I’m confused about whether I should also book the White Base as a backup.

A bit about my situation:

- I currently commute to the office daily using public transport, cabs, or sometimes with friends.

- So having my own bike would make a significant difference to my daily commute.

- I don't necessarily want to wait 6+ months if I can get a good RTX 300 much earlier.

- At the same time, I really like the Tarn Bronze colour and the Top Variant, which is why I booked it in the first place.

My options:

Option 1: Wait 6+ months for the Tarn Bronze Top

Option 2: Also book the Pearl White Base and take it if it becomes available in 2–3 months

Option 3: Wait for the Top and continue using public transport/cabs meanwhile

For those who own the RTX 300 or have been following the allocations:

Would you wait 6+ months for the Top Variant in Tarn Bronze, or take the Base Variant in Pearl White if it becomes available in 2–3 months?

Also, is the difference between the Base and Top significant enough that you'd personally wait several extra months?

I booked top variant in April 5th, Bangalore.

Do we get any email from tvs when the vehicle is ready as I recall the dealer asks me if I got any email from tvs ?

How do we know when our vehicle is ready ?

Last month dealer told me delivery will start from Aug 10th.

3 days back he said base model is being allocated now and top is being built. He said he'll update me later in the evening but has not picked my calls since them.

When I emailed tvs customer care, they gave the generic auto reply saying delivery will start from 1st Sept.

Online booking status is still at "Booking Received" and dealer told me it will only update after I do payment.

I’m genuinely confused and frustrated with TVS support. I have paid for TWO TVS RTX bookings, both bookings are visible in the TVS app/website, but support says they have no details about my second order.

I’m from Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, and I’ve been living in Bengaluru for the last 3 years. I made two RTX bookings from two different locations.

I have paid the booking amount for BOTH orders.

The strange part is that both bookings are clearly visible in my TVS application and on the website, so I know the second booking exists from my side.

However, whenever I contact TVS support about the second booking, they tell me:

I have already contacted support many times and sent emails more than 10 times, including all the booking details and screenshots.

Every time, instead of providing a solution, I’m asked to send/draft the email again.

My concern

Honestly, I’m starting to feel that my second booking may not have been properly processed internally, which could be why I’m not receiving any further updates.

The booking is visible in my app and website, and I have paid the booking amount, but TVS support says they cannot find the order.

If the booking is valid, why can't TVS support see it?

And if it hasn't been processed, why is it showing as an active booking in my account?

My first booking was made on 7 June, while the second was made on 30 July. I understand that the second booking is later, so I’m not expecting it to be processed before the first one. But I do expect TVS to acknowledge the booking and provide a proper status.

I’m also seeing other customers receive updates such as “Order Confirmed” and “Manufacturing”, while my booking is still showing only “Order Received.”

TVS has also informed me that deliveries for June bookings will commence from 1 November onwards, but this doesn't answer my main concern about the second booking.

What I need from TVS

Please verify Booking ID 26941 in your backend system and confirm:

1. Is my second booking properly registered and active?
2. Has the booking amount been successfully received?
3. Has the order been forwarded/processed by the dealership?
4. Why is the booking visible in my app/website but not visible to customer support?
5. What is the current status of Booking ID 26941?
6. Is there any action required from my side?

I’m not asking for an early delivery. I just want confirmation that my paid booking actually exists in TVS's internal system and is being processed.

Has anyone else experienced a situation where the booking appears in the TVS app/website and payment is completed, but TVS support says they cannot find the booking?

Would really appreciate advice from other RTX owners or anyone who has dealt with a similar TVS booking issue.

TVS - I have already sent the details and screenshots more than 10 times. Please investigate the second booking instead of asking me to resend the same information again.

Problem in TVS Apache RTR 310 (RTX 300) Tour Mode, top model. Whenever I try to overtake by giving sudden high acceleration, the throttle does not respond for a few seconds. It feels like a lag. After that, it suddenly pulls the bike with a jerk. I noticed this problem specifically in Tour Mode.

As for the quickshifter, I have not used it. Some people say and it is written in several places that this lag happens because of the quickshifter, but I don't even use it.

Now, I don't know if this is a problem or a feature of the TVS RTX 300. Is this happening with you guys as well? If anyone knows the solution, please share. Regarding this issue, I read somewhere that it might have been fixed after a ECU update. It was mentioned that this problem existed in the first batch, but I don't know about the second batch. When is my bike from? I think my bike is from the second batch. So if anybody have same problem?

I’ve come across a few posts from different owners mentioning this problem, so I thought it would be helpful to start a thread where we can gather real user experiences in one place.

● What diagnosis did service centre do?

● What repairs or parts were replaced ?

● Whether the issue was actually resolved after the repair ?

I booked my TVS RTX 300 back in April, and after waiting all these months, I finally got a call today saying my bike is ready at their storage facility.

The person who called me said that if I complete the payment, they can hand over the bike within this week itself.

The problem is… I honestly wasn't expecting the bike to arrive this early. 😅 I was mentally prepared for delivery around 6 months after booking, and currently I don't have the full amount ready.

I am 100% willing to take the bike, but I will only be financially ready around the 1st week of October, which is roughly 1.5 months from now.

I asked the person if they could hold the bike, but he said they can hold it for maximum 15 days, and not for a month or more.

So I'm trying to understand what options I have here.

My questions to fellow RTX owners:

1️⃣ Can I somehow request the dealer to hold my allotted bike for 1+ month?

Has anyone successfully negotiated something like this with their dealer?

2️⃣ Can I temporarily give up my current allocation?

For example, can I tell the dealer:

"Please allocate this bike to the next person in the waiting list, and give me another RTX 300 from the next lot when it arrives."

Is something like this practically possible?

3️⃣ Can I pay ₹20–30k now and generate the invoice, then pay the remaining amount in October?

Would that allow the dealer to hold the bike?

4️⃣ If an invoice is generated and I pay some amount, what happens if something unexpected happens later?

Is the amount paid against the invoice refundable, or can there be cancellation/refund issues?

5️⃣ What happens if I simply let this allocation go without personally cancelling my booking?

Will my booking automatically get cancelled after some period?

6️⃣ If I let this particular bike go, will my original booking continue?

Basically, can I get an RTX 300 from the next available lot instead of losing my booking completely?

Really looking for advice from people who've actually experienced this.

I don't want to cancel the RTX 300 - I just need another ~1.5 months to arrange the money.

If anyone has faced a similar situation with TVS/dealer allocation, please share exactly what you did and what happened afterward.

Would you hold the bike somehow, shift to the next allocation, or just let this one go?

TL;DR: Booked RTX 300 in April → bike unexpectedly ready now → dealer says max 15-day hold → I can arrange full payment only by October 1st week. What are my options to preserve my booking/allocation?

Hi it's been only 10 days since i got RTX 300 Top,

And today i rode it about 17-18kms and an engine check light popped up, initially i thought it might be some bug and will go away with ignition cycles but it was there still, as soon as i reached a patch with heavy traffic the engine heated up and fan icon was showing but the fan wasn't working and it got overheated,

It started giving warning of High Coolant Temperature.

I called the service centre and he asked me to show bike on videocall & it Turns out the fuse blew for the radiator Fan.

Being just a new bike within 10 days of delivery i had very scary experience.

What precautions should i take now?

I have booked RTX 300 BTO (Viper Green) on 21 June 2026, from TVS Malad Mumbai.
In a week the status changed to Booking confirm as green, and is now on Vehicle Manufactured (Blue) as on 18 Aug 2026.
I spoke with the dealer, they told i can see any update on the tvs booking status page. And i ll receive a call as soon as they have any update.

Booked my rtx BTO viper green on march 10th paid extra 25k at showroom to confirm booking also they charged 4K extra for viper green. They said it will be delivered on July and again they said it will be on August and now they are saying September, anyone from other showrooms in hyderabad who facing these delays.

I’m planning to install the Moto Torque Stallion Pro crash guard on my TVS Apache RTX 300.

I noticed this mounting point in the picture where the crash bar comes very close to the plastic body panel. I’m not sure whether the bar is actually mounted to the metal frame/chassis behind the plastic or whether any part of the mounting force is transferred through the plastic.

I’ve also come across a few comments saying that in a crash, the Stallion Pro may cause damage to the headlight/front plastic assembly.

For people who are already using the Stallion Pro on the RTX 300:

• Is this bar end actually connected to the metal frame behind the plastic?
• Does the crash guard touch or press against the plastic?
• Has anyone had a crash/fall with it installed?
• If yes, did it cause any damage to the headlight or front fairing?
• Would you recommend the Stallion Pro, or should I stick with the TVS OEM crash guard?

Would really appreciate feedback from actual RTX 300 owners, especially anyone who has had a real-world fall/crash with this guard installed.

Is 3098

2300 for engine oil change

200 for oil filter change

700 for chain cleaning and lubing

All ok but 700 for chain is too much as per me , should i get it done or do it myself (as i have wd40 and chain lube at home)

I booked rtx 300 on 1st may 2026. Its been 3.5 months and i haven’t recieved any update; the status is showing as vehicle manufactured from past 20 days. Wondering by when i can expect to get the delivery.

Saw many users complaining water mixing in engine via air filter.
How did this issue come? And how did you guys fixed it?
