Delayed rug for nursery

I just wanted to share how BEYOND frustrated I am with ruggable and their customer service. I ordered a rug back on May 24 for the nursery for our first child that said that the estimated time to ship was 7 to 10 days. Well now it’s been delayed multiple times and stuck in order delay status. I’ve reached out to customer service 3 times where they proceeded to tell me that it was still within their normal ship to window and that they would reach out with updates. Well, they haven’t reached out with any updates and it’s continually delayed more and more and I literally am due in a month and can’t get the nursery done until I have this rug in. Just completely unacceptable by the company without proper updates or escalations for a rug that costs $600. I really think I can’t recommend ruggable to anyone after this but would really appreciate their support team on here reaching out.

Decent Quality Runner Rug?

Hey!

So I have been ordering this beautiful chenille runner rug for my kitchen every couple years as it gets dingy or worn. This time, my younger cat has used it as a plaything and elements are coming out and off. I tried to reorder it from Natural Life, but sadly, the same print rug at the same price is now terrible quality. It used to be buttery soft, plush, and very nice to stand on. The replacement, which was the same listing on their website, was the same price and image but clearly they’re going the way of other companies and riding old, positive reviews for products that are no longer made of the same quality. I’d rather pay a little more for what I had than receive junk. I can do that by shopping Amazon.

So I have been looking for a soft, medium pile rug online that is cute and will work in the kitchen but “medium pile” doesn’t seem to register in any search- I see the same junk Amazon sells, which is largely those horribly thin “washable” rugs.

How do you even search for a proper rug these days? I bought a Ruggable rug a while back for the living room. It’s ok, but because I had to buy a pad the thing is constantly moving and puckering. I don’t care for it and wouldn’t shop their goods again. I’d like a rug that doesn’t need a pad.

Totally mystified that finding a decent rug is so impossible now. We are relegated to extremely expensive goods or absolute crap. Did medium pile rugs or rugs that don’t need pads just stop being made completely? I cannot figure out how to search for or find one…

Tips for cleaning plush all-in-ones?

I’ve had Ruggables for nearly a decade after I found my first one at Jo-Ann’s (RIP). After I bought my first house, I decided to splurge and buy one of the new plush rugs for my living room. I checked the instructions and purposely bought the 5’x7’ size because the website warned that anything larger would require a commercial sized washer. I really like the feel of the rug, but it gets dirty so much more easily! Like I do with my OG two-piece rugs, I spot cleaned it for little things, but given that I have two dogs, I reached the point where it REALLY needed to be washed.

But when I went to put it in my standard top loading washer, it was obvious it wouldn’t fit. I’m not even sure a 3’x5’ would fit! I can easily wash an 8’x10’ two-piece rug in my machine.

Of course, I discovered this a couple of months AFTER the return window. The commercial washers at the one laundromat by me are way more expensive than I realized. Does anyone have any tips? Or do I need to just bite the bullet and take it to a cleaner?

Ruggable pads shedding

My Ruggable pads are shedding black all over my rugs and my house and washing machine. I don’t know how to get it to stop. I love my Ruggables and have had them for 6 years (ordered a few different times) but I’m disappointed that they seem to be falling apart for the price point. That being said, are there alternatives that are cheaper elsewhere. Kinda at my wits end.

Need help choosing a kitchen rug — does this rug work with white cabinets and dark wood floors?

I recently got this rug after looking at so many. For reference, I usually lean towards blues and neutrals for a cozy vibe. I like this rug but not sure if it gets swallowed up by the wood floors and adds enough contrast.

Help a pregnant lady out - is it really worth it?

Hi all! I’m looking at this rug

https://ruggable.com/products/linear-oasis-green-rug

9x12 so it looks like tufted isn’t a good idea if I want to wash it at all which I would likely need to with a brand new baby and a toddler. We also have a Labrador so messes happen.

- Is it worth it?
- I’ve seen mixed reviews about patterns looking cheap? Do you think this one would?
- is this better than a wool rug? I can get one at homegoods for slightly less but obviously it wouldn’t be washable
- Is there a better way to clean them? I have a little green cleaning machine
- Influence or deinfluence me please

We had a white (lol) wool rug that unfortunately the dog got sick on and the rug never recovered. I just don’t want to keep spending money on rugs or cleaning devices.
