I saw in another post that all the songs will be unlocked by default, not sure if it’s confirmed or not, but I kinda wish they weren’t.

Part of the fun of these games is playing through the game to unlock stuff for the first time, especially if you haven’t been following all the song reveals. There are a lot of songs in GH and Rock Band that I wouldn’t have touched for a long time if I didn’t have to play them to progress the game, but I ended up really liking them. It gives more of an extrinsic motivation to play the game, adds a bigger sense of progress, and will expose more people to all the songs, if that’s part of their goal. What are your thoughts?

A lot of the most fun songs in the series (in my opinion) have been the instrumentals. YYZ, Impulse, Cliffs of Dover, Satch Boogie, Scatterbrained, Black Widow, all super fun to play. Is there anything in the setlist or do you think there will be that is a pure instrumental? What would your pick be?

Anywhere to just buy the physical game with no controller?

How was it?

Me being a HUGE pro wrestling fan, I got super mega ultra excited that these songs were announced for the core setlist.

It’s going to be a dream come true playing Metalingus in a music rhythm video game.

I already got a guitar preordered and I like the setlist so far.

In terms of songs I'd love to see added, I have 3 I can think of off the top of my head

1. American Confidence - by Nothing But Thieves

2. Block Of Flats - by Loathe

3. Sinner - by The Last Dinner Party

I'm so excited for this game since GH was a huge part of my childhood. Finding out it's coming in a few months is an awesome feeling. I'm so glad I found this community too

I really wanted the lespaul guitar but i didn't want to buy the guitar
PLUS 40 bucks for the game, just because of the mechanical frets.

If a song has lyric in something other than english how will it be handled for singing? For example Ratatata has a verse in Japanese just before the second Electric Callboy verse. How will that be shown? Phonetically, I doubt most people can read Japanese. If the lyrics from other languages are in Germand or French or something at least the alphabet sounds similar.

Just curious, I would love to see how it is handled.
