First time Passing Silvera by Gojira
I was stoked about this playthrough. Thanks for watching and thanks for letting me share.
What Ozzy and Black Sabbath songs does everyone want to see in the game?
Also as a bonus question, for the metalheads in the subreddit what bands would you guys like to see get represented?
Gameplay Feel
Good evening, was curious to those who have played Stage Tour already is the game feel more like Clone Hero, Yarg, or the Legacy Games (GH/RB4)? Also are open notes a thing or is it strictly 5 fret? Thank!
I hope the final game looks better
The game looks so cartooney and cheap, I know this is the first game in a while but with the way tech has evolved it should look way better, I can't even say I would rather have gameplay over graphics because doing the gameplay/Charting of rhythm games isnt that hard as so many people do fan charting and there is a community of people do it, the resources should have gone more into the way it looks
How will DLC be handled
Ive been thinking and wondering how the future of DLC will be handled. More importantly, the cost and frequency. As I look back at the history of RockBand and the cost of DLC never changing from $2. I find this to be a huge mistake and a huge reason for that games downfall. DLC should never be free nor should it be dirt cheap. Artists that create the music we want need to be compensated for thier efforts. The Developers of Stage Tour also require compensation for their efforts as well. A $2 or less DLC will not attract a majority of musicians to license out music or provide enough incentive for both the artists and developers. As much as some in the community may despise paying higher fees for great songs, I think this is going to be nessesary to create a long future for Stage Tour. Want indie bands and folks just getting their name out, sure, $2. How bout a mid tier bad/artist, $3 or 4. Top tier sellout arena rock, $6. Led Zepplin..... shut up and take my money!!!!! With all that being said, I do hope that Stage Tour developers have a plan to provide a variety of DLC that is both beneficial to us as players/consumers and provides a lucrative payoff to the artists and developers, so as to keep this expierience going for years and years.
Songs That I Think should be In Stage Tour
Before we begin here. This is just My Opinion. No not All of these songs are rock songs Or Well Known artist. But also classic R&B funk hits (Mostly Focused On Some that has The Vibe of 60s and 70s) and Underrated/Independent artist (I'm talking about Underrated/independent Metal Bands) that i Feel are Worth listening to if you Don't Like any Of This I respect your opinion as long as you respect mine
I'm Going For 12 songs
Archetypes collide - your misery (Rock Track)
Shinedown - Monsters (Metal Track)
Iron maiden - Wasted years (Metal Track)
COLD - Stupid Girl (Nu Metal Track)
10 Years - Wasteland (Rock Track)
Lakeside - Fantastic Voyage (R&B Funk Track)
Ashes Like Rain - If Only (Nu Metal Track)
Bruno Mars - treasure (R&B Funk Track)
Scarlet White - running through the storm (Rock Track)
Michael Jackson - dirty Diana (R&B Funk Track)
Groundstate - floating away (Nu Metal Track)
Metallica - and justice For all (Metal Track)
Again these songs Are not in Stage Tour this Is Just an opinion Of Mine.
Now we have 2/10 bands from the top 10 most requested artists within the first 24 hours of opening
All of these artists would look amazing in the game! Hopefully a song from of them will be on “disk”
The drums for this game are so damn impressive.
I bought a MIDI drumset like 6 or so years ago and now I'm kinda regretting it after seeing how realistic the new drum kit for this game is. I like my Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit, but the Toms for this drum kit just look so much more smoother and easier to just...not mess up. I've always found it kinda hard to properly hit the Toms on an Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit because of the rimming on the Toms. I guess maybe Ill just have to have 2 drumsets... 🙃🙃
PS: I know what I just said sounds silly. I'm just really digging the new kit is all. I just kinda feel like I'm gonna have to get it when it comes out.
This may have been addressed already, but what happens with licensing?
So I know with some racing games, gaming platforms lose rights to sell games due to licensing rights. There’s been a lot of talk recently how PlayStation is able to just delete media from libraries without warning. My question is what happens with licensing if we buy this game? It consists entirely of licensed songs and brand guitars etc. could they potentially just eventually remove the game from our libraries? I haven’t been a physical media guy since they started allowing digital downloads, but part of me wonders if we are eventually going to get screwed and lose our games, which will essentially make our guitars, mics, and drum sets useless.
Anyone have any insights?
