Is there even such a mod that has every single community object in build/buy mode unlocked, such as MM vendors or the SS runway? Would be nice to add, for example, a SS runway in the middle of Magic Town 😹

[PARTIALLY SOLVED]

Since EA patched the move_objects cheat for Sims Legacy Edition we can no longer overlap items/put them on the same square. Does anybody know of a mod that puts cheat back? TwistedMexi made a MOO mod for Sims 4 so not for Legacy Edition? ☹️

EDIT: Screenshots of my issue. And I did enable move_objects on. Images not showing up on app. Use the website version.

EDIT 2: I retried this cheat and it only applied to certain objects not all of them. Like doorways can't overlap but paintings can be under the wall phone.

And last month I was CC shopping and remember finding this place object anywhere mod but I forgot to save it, it took hours to find that mod, but at least I know it exists.

I'm talking about "SALP!"

Both male and female Sims use it. Male Sims shout it sometimes when someone comes into the bathroom while they're using it. Also, if you turn the music off when there's a burglar, the burglar says it when he puts his hands up after being captured.

Female Sims occasionally say it under their breath when they're in a bad mood. I don't think kids say it, which makes me believe that it is supposed to be the Simlish equivalent of "Shit!" But I don't think it carried over to Sims 2, 3, and 4.

I just thought I'd mention it, because I think it's funny.

I’ve seen so many people make some amazing mods for this game and wanna make stuff too. Like a new job, nectar recipes, heads, skins, and few other things. But the tools (like The Transmogrifier and IFF Pencil 2 for example) don’t recognize Sims Legacy Edition that I bought from Steam. Is it even possible to make mods for Sims Legacy Edition using these tools?

Hey all, I thought it would be fun to make a tier ranking for all the spells, charms, and crystal growth abilities that are in the Makin' Magic EP. I named the tiers after various supernatural npcs from Livin' Large, Unleashed, and MM, since those packs deserve some recognition for their otherworldly content. From best to worst: Bonehilda, Miss Lucille, Mystery Man, Grim Reaper, and Tragic Clown.

I've spent a huge amount of time trying to get both The Sims Complete and The Sims Legacy Collection working through a Wineskin wrapper and couldn't get it working.

However, after an equal amount of time mucking around with both versions on Parallels, I finally found a way to get an installation of The Sims Complete working under Windows 11 (ARM64 Parallels), and for it to be launchable through Steam (optional) and recognised as The Sims Legacy Collection.

In short, it requires copying an existing installation, shifting some files around and making a small registry modification to make the game recognised as a valid installation.

Is there a mod out there that enables overlap of build and buy objects? Like I don’t like how I have to separate two doorways by one tile when it would look so much more aesthetically pleasing to have them on the same tile to look like this shape: _| or |_

I have more than 13,000 IFF files, and the game crashes, which isn't surprising. I'm wondering whether packing them into FAR files would improve stability, or if the game would still crash regardless. My entire custom content folder is only 2.8 GB.

I have a mod that allows you to keep flirt, compliment, and joke with romantic partners and friends.

I made a bachelor sim named Kevin Hilton and dressed him like a himbo; then I had him adopt this cute bulldog stray named Spike. I even bought a black spiked collar for his precious pup.

But training Spike was wasn’t easy because the interaction was rare to even get. 99% of the time it’s just “Play with”-”Pet”. Kevin was lucky to get to be able to hug Spike at all. Three real-time hours later they both burned to death in the fenced-in backyard because Kevin tried to make burgers. Damnit Kevin!
