It’s a relatively small button, but it was the second time I ever sowed cactus seeds (first being pachanoi), so it has survived a lot of seedling deaths and learning.
I lost track of labeling so it was either a fricii, diffusa, or LW huizache.
In the episode Reese’s Party, Hal and Lois are leaving the boys for a vacation before the baby is born, and Dewey says “Why are you splitting us up?” Hal responds something like “It’s the only way the judge would let us leave town.”
Is this a specific episode reference, or do we just generally assume the boys are in trouble with the law?
Yesterday he walked away and we lost him for over a day and a half.. (the cat not the boyfriend)
We wanted to open the window to the balcony side to cool the house.. first we placed the wooden board because he went through the screen. Then he went over the screen and chewed it.. So then my bf added the chicken wire.. that didnt work either. Then I added the second layer of random placed chicken wire. "It needs to hurt more"
Didn't work either...
Then my bf did something with sticks.
Now it works.
First challenge complete. Only slept a little at Mountaineer’s and drank a bunch of coffee day and night. No struggles, killed 3-4 wolves along the way. Saw a moose and some bears in Timberwolf Mountain. No auroras, but I came across 3 flashlights so I carried one just in case.
Was hoping for a revolver but didn’t get a gun until the mountain peak.
Day 115 in Stalker. 2nd cougar attempt, first success.
My health got as low as 3%. Probably should have retreated but I’d already put about 4-5 bullets in ‘er so I figured it was me or the cat, and it’d be my consequence if it ended my run.
I managed to limp home (literally), now I’m just gonna chill at the farmhouse for the next 48 hours, licking my wounds, reading books, and eating old wolf meat on the porch.
Life is good.

Bought these plants early March (pic 2), they seem to have grown decently, I’ve even produced a couple viable seeds so far.
Is that brown on the male (right) looking normal? How about that white between the ribs? Up close it looks sort of fibrous, but isn’t mold not easy to wipe away.
Just scarring from growth?
