Squaredrop/ Teardrop Camper
I posted this last week asking for opinions on price. My apologies for not including more photos last time. I couldn’t edit to add more so I just deleted the thread. I just posted it locally on marketplace. Thought I would share here too in case someone might like it.
This is a Squaredrop Camper that I built. I ended up buying a new home, priorities changed, had some medical issues, and it was never finished. There is no wood in this camper. I have the steel and sheeting to finish the rear hatch, hurricane hinge for rear hatch, all of the black aluminum trim, approx. 1200ft copper wiring on rolls for the electrical.
The frame is 2x2x3/16” steel. The walls and roof are 1x1” steel tubing. The camper weighs approximately 1,180lbs.
Included options are:
Timbren Off-road Axel-less Suspension with Electric Brakes
Lock & Roll Off-Road Articulating Hitch. Truck and Trailer sides.
Trailer side receiver is removable via lock pin. Can easily accept ball hitch.
265/75/16 Off-Road Tires mounted to Summit Racing Black Steel Rims.
Tree Guards
ACM Panels in Black for the camper’s skin
MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe RV Roof Vent Model 7500K
TC11-TC12 28″ Wide x 36″ Tall Driver and Passenger Side Teardrop RV Doors
60"X22” front facing Skylight Window
2-17x15” Side Windows
Overall
Length 15’
Width 7’ 10”
Interior
Length 9ft at floor level 10’ 3” at middle height.
Width 5’ 4”
This will easily fit a queen size mattress with lots of room for a kitchen and storage. There is surface rust on some parts where I stripped the paint down to weld. The trailer’s lights are wired to a 7-pin plug. It was driven locally for approximately 60 miles when we moved to our new home. It has always been stored in a garage. It does have some dust on it though. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. $4500
Finished my custom driftwood centerpiece
It started out as a 14ft piece of Sycamore that had fallen many years ago. I cut it down to fit my 6ft tank and sanitized it for 48 hours. After soaking for a few days, I went looking for some slate. I ended up with 6-4x6ft sheets someone was giving away on marketplace. I cut out some smaller sections with a grinder, drilled/countersunk anchor holes, and used stainless steel hardware to attach them to the driftwood.
ID Help
I found this at the base of a Sycamore near the creek in southern Ohio. It is heavily weathered, very hard, and resistant to breaking. All of the bark has long gone except a small section in one of the pictures. Any ideas?
-The red mark on the crosscut is from a Diablo blade.
Just signed up for the 2 free month trial annual plan. I was billed $99.99 an hour later.
Anyone else have an issue like this? This happened around 4am local time. I sent of an email and will call later today. It’s not a huge issue but annoying enough that I have to fix their mistake.
This is a new, store bought stand for a 125gallon aquarium. Does this seem a little rickety to anyone else?
I’m really considering adding some 2x4 supports in here.
I'm putting in a 125 gallon Aquarium. My house has a crawl space with 2x10 floor joist that overlap at the center beam. I want to install house jacks to help support the weight. Will my idea below work?
Sorry for my goofy sketch. https://imgur.com/a/6FpZPZR
What should I list my square-drop for, realistically?
I had it pending sale back in the fall to someone in another state for $6k. After talking and postponing several times over 8 weeks, they eventually said they couldn’t get it. I just kept it in the barn since then. I still have the supplies to finish the exterior and rear hatch, as well as 1200 ft of wiring to run all of the internal electrical. It’s developed some surface rust on areas that weren’t primered. I’m wanting to list it again but honestly, I’m not sure what I should sell it for? I’m in southern Ohio. Any suggestions?
I wanted to remote play on my iPad for the first time. Every game I own says it requires a game pass.
I thought a game pass wasn’t required to play owned games. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve always played directly through my console before this.
Edit: Thanks everyone! It looks like I confused cloud gaming and remote play as the same thing. Thanks for your help!
Last August, I bought a Smith Machine without anywhere to put it. So I decided to build a room in our barn.
I started dieting on June 5th, 2025. I built this room to help my journey as money allowed. It still needs trim, mirrors, and a few minor adjustments, but as of last week, we’re actually using it as our gym. Since I started dieting, working out, and repairing bicep tendon, I’m down 130lbs. The only caveat was I had to agree to let my wife put a tanning bed in there.
Someone Check my Math. Mac&Cheese
So I started with
1 x box Kraft Mac&Cheese. It weighed in at 209 grams dry which gave me 742 calories per box
2 x ounces of Skim Milk. That was 20 calories
2 x tablespoons/ 28 grams of Country Crock Light. That was 70 calories.
When prepared, the above ingredients weighed in at 538 grams or 19 ounces for the whole box.
So that gives me 538 grams for 832 calories per box prepared. 44 calories per ounce, 1.6 calories per gram.
I’ve been logging this in the LoseIt app but their database says it’s 650 calories for a 5 ounce serving. That always seemed really high.
What about others here? How do you log Mac & Cheese? Am I in the ballpark or drastically under?
