this is the first community I felt comfortable not censoring the word “vagina” in the title. you would not believe how sensitive people are about that word
it’s pretty educational too, imo
it would be cool to make an epoxy resin cast from this. some redditors have been helpful in describing the artistic process.
looking forward to making more pretty body casts!
Here’s a collection of some drawings I’ve made! It’s a variety of materials from acrylic paint to digital, ink, pen, and pencil. There’s a lot, I love doing art! if you’d like specifics, they’re below:
1: digital (procreate) 2: digital (photoshop) 3: digital (procreate) 4: traditional (acrylic) 5: traditional (graphite) and digital (photoshop) 6: traditional (acrylic) 7: digital (photoshop) 8: traditional (watercolor) 9: traditional (colored pencil) 10: traditional (graphite and colored pencil) 11: digital (photoshop) this is an adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s All Summer in a Day!
we can all say we’ve seen the iconic rlong tags all around bmore. As an artist though, I would honestly love to see more color and pop in our city.
how do I get connected with the city of Baltimore’s resources to get paid to paint murals here?
Are there any ideas for pitching the idea to local businesses? I know Johns Hopkins recently got that beautiful mural of Henrietta Lacks to go up on the corner of N Washington St and E Madison St, so maybe there’s money there?
(this mural was recently done for the 10th anniversary of a video game franchise I’m a huge fan of! attached for visibility)
figured for photoshop phriday I’d make a helpful diagram!

blue area labeled “2“:These are Skene’s glands. Often referred to as the "female prostate," they secrete a fluid that lubricates the urethra and are associated with female ejaculation.
the glands are located closer to the front of the body (anterior), on either side of the female urethral opening, extending into the body. These glands hug the vagina and the urethra very closely. And like the prostate, they’re very sensitive.
Theories are that the fluid in the Skene’s glands get massaged out and fill the urethra and the bladder. When you squirt, it looks like you peed. But it’s not!!
