Searching for the one mechanical mouvment and not that pricy

I got a house cat with lot of room for her to hide or live her life without any concern of not having places to go if she wants to be alone. Also I live pretty much every day with her because I work in remote most of the time. I live with my gf.

My cat is very affectionate and love to go on us or just pass by to give us some nose bump or purring. She has always been a bit fearful in general but only if people she doesn't know comes to our house.

She is 3yo (we got her at 3 months old) and recently she start hiding from rain dropping in the roof. She stand in a little hiding spot without moving until it stops but she never did that before.. I can understand but recently it's more concerning because I was wondering where she was because I didn't see her for a while and I thought maybe she was hiding.. And I was right.. But this time therz was literally nothing she could be afraid of.. I was home all day working on my computer and saw/hear nothing that could be loud or overwhelming..

Something that concern me more is the lapse of time between becoming afraid from rain and now literally afraid of nothing. There is like a lapse of 3 weeks in between..

Have you any clue or advice? She can hide under bed if she wants to.
