How to stop hearing guitars dry signal when using Native plugin on Logic

Hey yall, new to the plugin, I’m trying to figure out how to stop monitoring the dry signal when using effects from the plug in. I’m testing out some of the presets and trying to build my own but I keep hearing my guitars dry signal so I can’t get a real feel for the tone I’m getting, especially when using heavier drives because I just hear my raw guitar in the background, I can only hear exactly what I’m getting when I record and listen back.

I’m using Logic Pro so the issue may be in the programs setting but I don’t get the same issue when I’m using Logics built in effects so I think it’s the native plugin. Anyone run into this issue?

NPD - Hologram Electronics 10th Anniversary Chroma Console

I’d been wanting to try out a Chroma Console for a while. After a few trade deals fell through, I decided to just buy one used. Once I realized most used listings were ending up around the same price as a new one, I figured I might as well go for the 10th Anniversary Edition while it was still available. My thinking was that if it ended up not being what I wanted long-term, it would probably hold its value pretty well for trades or resale.

So far, I’m loving it.

I’m still not convinced it’s the “pedalboard killer” that some people claim it is, but I’m already considering selling off some of my more basic pedals like my tremolo, vibrato, and a few drive pedals. I don’t see it replacing my dedicated reverbs or delays anytime soon, though I still prefer having more control over those effects.

The one thing I’ve been struggling with is signal chain placement. It doesn’t really fit perfectly anywhere on a board because it contains both drive and modulation effects, and depending on the sound you’re after, you may want some of those effects before or after other pedals. It would’ve been really cool if Hologram had included an option to sacrifice stereo functionality in exchange for a flexible routing mode with the 2 ins and outs. For example, being able to send the Character and Texture modules out to other pedals and then return into the Movement and Diffusion sections would make this thing incredibly versatile. A feature like that would honestly make it close to the perfect pedal for me.

My only real disappointment is that Hologram’s marketing photos make the 10th Anniversary finish look a much more pearlescent cream-colored than it is in person. It does have a nice finish and subtle shimmer to it, just not quite to the extent I was expecting. That said, it’s a very minor complaint and easy to get over.

For anyone still thinking about grabbing one, mine was somewhere in the mid-200s out of 350 units (I forgot the exact number). I ordered it on Memorial Day, so I’d imagine they’re probably into the 300s by now if there are still any available.

UPDATE: They have sold out

Reverb really needs to have a penalty system for egregious low ball offers

Every time I post an item I get 10 offers immediately that are all half of what the item is posted for, and i always price my item $10 lower than the cheapest comparable item. Reverb should really have a report low ball option where if the buyer offers you below a certain percentage of the list price they get a strike, enough strikes within a short span of time you can’t make offers for like a week or something. I think this would deter people spamming and fishing for someone to take the offer, I’m all for the power of asking for a lower price to save money, but offering $100 on a $250 pedal is insane.

Or at least incorporate a system where we can set our lowest offer price like eBay so we don’t get bothered with these dumb offers

What would be the best way to treat these scratches on a roasted maple neck?

Looking to make these scratches less prominent, would precise use of something like tru oil or a stain help blend it in? I know it won’t magically fix it, just want to make it look better

Does anyone make a Charvel style super offset?

I know of the Jackson x series surfcaster line of guitars but wanted to know if someone has made a model that looks more like a Fender JM/Jag style offset where the body looks the same but has the comfortable contoured neck heel and the fast Charvel style compound radius neck? I love my offsets but my Charvel Super tele has the best feeling neck out of any of my guitars. I’d assume there’s the boutique or custom route but if anyone has been down this road already, what have you found?
