Interesting 3PN to Blast

Interested if anyone has been in a similar situation. I had four eggs on my last cycle, but abnormal fertilization in 2, one failed to fertilize, and one normal fertilization with ICSI. This is the first time we haven’t had 100% normal fertilization in three cycles.

Anyway, all the embryos arrested except the 3PN, which is not a day 6 4BC blast. We are doing PGTA testing, but results are going to take quite a while because the lab is backed up. Curious if anyone has experience here. I’m 27. Last cycle had 2 day 5 4BB embryos, but both were aneuploid.

3PN embryo became a blast

Menopur to low dose HCG

27 with AMH of .19. I just completed my third cycle.

First: 2 mature eggs, both fertilized, 0 embryos.
Second: 3 mature eggs, all fertilized, 2 anueploid embryos. Both 4BB
Third: 4 mature eggs, 1 normal fertilization and 2 abnormal. One of the 3PN embryos became a blast. Awaiting PGTA and happy to update on whether this embryo is normal if it would help anyone out. Embryo is 4BC

My doctor is considering switching me from menopur to low dose HCG for my next cycle. The last two cycles I did 75 IU menopur, 200 gonal, 25 omnitrope. dr thinks maybe the amount of LH or FSH I was on was harming my egg quality so he suggested a cycle with gonal + low dose HCG + omnitrope. Priming with testosterone gel the next cycle rather than estrogen priming like the last two cycles.

First cycle was lupron flare protocol and we’ve decided my body wasn’t happy with that protocol.

Has anyone done a similar switch and seen success? I’m taking a couple months off before this cycle and doing acupuncture as well!

3PN embryo success?

We just found out that out of our three fertilized eggs, the one that made it to blast came from one of our two abnormally fertilized 3PN embryos. We are going to biopsy at do PGTA, but wondering if anyone has ever been in a similar boat?

I sort of just expected nothing from this cycle and while we do have this one 4BC blast, I’m not sure I feel very confident it can be normal. But in my head it has to have self corrected to some extent to make it to blast, right?

Take a break or keep going

27 with AMH of .19. I just completed my third cycle.

First: 2 mature eggs, both fertilized, 0 embryos.
Second: 3 mature eggs, all fertilized, 2 anueploid embryos.
Third: 4 mature eggs, 1 normal fertilization and 2 abnormal. Just found out today.

I am trying to figure out if I keep going or take a break. Do I go to another clinic for a second opinion at this point? I just don’t know where to go from here and I’m worried I just have a devastating egg quality issue at this point and will never be able to make a normal embryo. Omnitrope all cycles, and on coq10 and DHEA the last 2 cycles.

What woukd you do next?

Thoughts/positive words going into ER 3. 28, AMH .9, AFC 6-8 at baseline

Hi everyone! Heading into my third ER and just looking for thoughts from anyone who has been through something similar.

AMH is .19 at age 28. Going into a third cycle now. Results from first two:

Cycle 1:
Eggs retrieved: 2
Mature: 2
Fertilized: 2
Blasts: 0

Went directly into cycle 2, added coq10 and NAD:

Eggs retrieved: 4
Mature: 3
Fertilized: 3
Blasts: 2
PGTA normal: 0. One monosomy and one chromosomal deletion.

I have used Omnitrope both times. Did a Lupron flair protocol the first time and then second time did an estrogen priming cycle. Sticking with that going into my next cycle.

I love my clinic. I don’t think the answer is switching. I think I’m just dealing with the really unfortunate reality of a severely diminished reserve at 28.

Just retested my AMH because I was on birth control for 10+ years. First AMH result was .1, three months after going off BC it was .33. I stopped BC in December and tested again yesterday and AMH back down to .19. Wondering if I’m taking a temporary hit from the back to back cycles? If that’s even possible.

Just worried there’s no hope of getting healthy embryos this young. Also, wondering if there’s any shot I can take a break after this cycle and wait a year or two to do another retrieval. It’s been so much financially and emotionally it’s hard to keep going with so much disappointment. Have been on coq10 for ~3 months now.
