What coffee beans, that were not specifically intended to be used for espresso, surprised you when pulling a shot through them?

I've been using a coffee subscription service for a while now, and while there have been some not-so-great bags of beans even just for a french press there have been a few that surprised me. This roast from Forecast Coffee Co. tops my list for sure. The flavor notes are spot on, with a creamy texture that is almost velvety with the subtle hints of nutty chocolate.
