Dropping weights in HDB

I live in hdb and have a basic full cage squat rack cause I didn’t intend to ego lift. But I’m entertaining thoughts of lifting to the extent where I really might start dropping weights (I’m just a beginner) and do overhead presses.

My mats are high density but very thin (think less than 1cm width). A few questions, in hdb tbh should we not be dropping heavy weights? The whole block hears it. I’m not sure how much it affects the integrity of the floor, which is also someone’s ceiling. Or is it ok with the right kind of mat?

I was thinking of adding a thicker rubber high density mat on top. I see gymzgarage has 2, 2.5, 5cm width. I’ve also seen one in decathlon. Any tips on what kind of mats work?

How is CCK Active Sg gym?

Hi, how crowded is this gym during weekdays and weekends? Is there a timeslot where you find the crowd lower?

It seems to be a relatively new gym, so I was hoping it might not be as super crowded as the one at Bukit Gombak with 5 people staring at you in the queue.

Wondering if there are hack squat machines too

I’d like to have a weekly schedule app where I can put like mon, wed, Fri: front squats, ez curls. Tues Thurs other stuff, so that it just tells me what to do, where I can also change these out on the spot. And it shows me a weekly glance of the types of muscle workouts.

Looking for a free app

Briefly looked at Hevy but haven’t used it. It along with many apps just seem like loggers where you just log in what you did per day and it collates data.

But I’m looking for something that can show me the weekly schedule at a glance

I’m curious to do some crowd sourcing for some mbti types. What annoys you/what’s your pet peeve?

Mine’s

- all talk no action

- types of people who are very slow to do things or get started, get distracted too easily, have no urgency

- blaming circumstances for your bad results

-really dull conversation
