DSP with auto tune?
Are there good DSPs that automatically tune for you? Don’t need anything super fancy, just easier to use.
Sound deadening install question
I’ve seen some pics where they put the material over the wires in doors and some with the material under the wires. Does it matter it covers all the wires except the parts that plug in? I did mine with the wires out like in the pic but thinking of redoing it better if possible.
Is this safe to do to power a center channel?
I have a JBL 2 ch amp powering my front components. Could I take a + from one side and - from the other to power the center channel? Not sure if there would be any negative effects from doing that.
Which to use with iOS CarPlay and R8W?
Not sure which is better to use between Highway Radar and R8 Companion. Which to use and why?
Aesthetics on cargo amp/loc/sub wiring.
Would taping up the speaker and pwr/grnd/remote wires with cloth tape make it look nicer or leave as is?
Thoughts?
I wanted something for storage while looking nice after I installed the LC2i Pro and JBL amp. Local shop came through.
Amp settings help?
What settings should I use on the amp that powers the pictured component set? I also have a JBL BassPro Hub for the lows. All running off of a LC2i Pro. Also not sure what to set the output levels on the LC2i Pro. Decided not to use the bass level control remote since the JBL has one.
Any recommendations?
Would 8 gauge power/ground be ok?
Would it be ok to run a NVX 8 gauge power/ground with a distribution block for a 200rms JBL BassPro Hub and an amp that does 130rms@2ohms/80rms@4ohms? What’s the highest gauge I could use for these coming out of the 8 gauge distribution block? I want to use the 2 channel amp for my mids/highs that’s 3ohm JBL speakers.
Uniden R8W placement.
I got this adjustable permanent mount on eBay and decided to place it as pictured. Is this the best spot or one of the better spots?
I like it because it can’t really be seen from the outside.
Would this be ok?
I have a JBL BassPro Hub installed in a factory HK system for a Kona N using a NVX OFC 8 gauge kit using HL inputs. If I were to get the LC2i, could I add the pictured amp to power the front mids/highs by using a distribution block on the 8 gauge instead of doing that on a 4 gauge wire? Also would I have to cut the HK wires for the front speakers or can it be tapped? Right now I also have a JBL Club 64CSQ up front powered by the HK amp.
Would using LC2i Pro be a better option?
I have my JBL BassPro Hub connected with HL inputs. Wondering if switching that to RCAs with a LC2i Pro would be a better option.
JBL BassPro Hub install complete.
Also added some sound deadening stuff.
BassPro Hub install
Are the wires ok where they are or should I have all of them tied together in the middle and hidden under the BassPro Hub?
Stock 2 ohm HK speakers replacement.
I want to use the factory HK amp and would replacing the 2 ohm speakers with 3 ohm be ok besides losing some volume? Or is it not worth replacing. Just want a little better sound without having to add an amp.
For those that have a Subwoofer added to Harmon Kardon system…
What sound tone settings did you use? I just installed a JBL BassPro Hub and curious. Also what settings on the remote if you have one as well?
