At what point do you ask for pain medicine

TW: pregnancy loss

I am currently going through a pregnancy loss and was given cytotec to induce miscarriage. They told me to take ibuprofen with it but obviously I’m incredibly hesitant after having the sleeve.

So my question is, at what point do you all ask for alternate pain medication? I don’t want to come across as drug seeking but this is incredibly painful and I wish I had asked for a stronger medication.

Hello,

I’m currently looking for a reproductive endocrinologist specifically for recurrent pregnancy loss (back to back miscarriages). Does anyone have recommendations and if so, how long did it take you to get in for an appointment?

TW: living child

I’m on my second miscarriage in four months 3 years after giving birth to a healthy child. First was a “PUL” that was treated with methotrexate but was later found in my uterus. Three months after my last dose of methotrexate we tried again and got pregnant first try but this one looks to be a MMC ~6 weeks. Has anyone been through this? Any success?

I am currently 5w5d after a blighted ovum loss in December.

I got my first beta taken at 5 weeks and the result was 1700. Tuesday, I got a second beta taken at 5 weeks 4 days and it came back at 2400. I thought for sure it was all over.

My OB called to get me in for an ultrasound to make sure the pregnancy was in the uterus and the US showed all of the appropriate pieces of a normal 5w5d pregnancy including a fetal pole and heartbeat.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and how did it turn out for you?
