gastroenterologist

Hi! just moved to the area and need a gastroenterologist. looking for recommendations for a good GI who actually cares. I’ve previously had 2 not great experiences with GIs and don’t want to waste more time. Bonus if they are openings sooner rather than later!

how to push for more testing

Hi! looking for advice on how to push for more testing. i have been to 2 different GI docs and each time ive been immediately told its just stress or IBS. ive done lowfod map and its helped a lot but now my symptoms are re appearing even though i haven’t changed my diet. i’m not doubting that IBS could be the cause but i dont feel i’ve had enough testing to know its not something else.

Anyways i have an appt with a new primary care soon and im nervous when i ask for a referral to a GI they will wont listen again

QuietComfort 45 ear pad replacement (Eclipse Grey)

Hi! I’m looking for ear pad replacements for the QC 45 in Eclipse grey. I’ve looked on the bose website and it seems they only sell them in black or white. Does anyone have a good recommendation for anywhere to get them. Or does anyone have the black or white combo with the grey and would be willing to share a pic? Thanks!!

reflair ?

Hi looking to see if anyone has an advice or had a similar experience. I did the lowfod map diet months ago and found my food triggers were gluten, lactose, onions, garlic. I have not been eating any of these foods but have recently started having symptoms again. I just moved but i’m planning to find a new dietician. Wondering if anyone has any advice besides just trying the diet again.

Issues with using employee comp classes at other studios

hi i’m honestly just curious to see if anyone else has run into this issue. i’m currently in Raleigh NC, but i get employee comp classes from my dad who owns a studio in MA. all of the studios here are owned by the same group but recently i’ve had issues with one studio in particular. i booked a class last week for a saturday only to be told that i can only book 30 minutes out from the class because im not a paying member. i was very confused as i had previously gone to several others in the area and was never told about this. i went to other studios in the meantime and again never had anyone mention anything about the policy

then today i went back to the studio who told me i couldn’t prebook, and the manager came up to me and told me that she had spoken to her regional manager and that the regional said i cannot prebook at any studios in the area and that i have to call the studio 1 hour prior to the class starting to see if there’s room so that they don’t have to “kick me out” if a member wants to take class.

i’ve worked at 2 different studios under 2 different owners and have never heard of a studio enforcing their own employee rules for employees of other studios. I’m honestly just confused, i submitted a complaint to the ownership group after the first time just to ask for clarification since i had taken classes at other studios no issues but have not gotten a reply.
