What are your RWBY Fanfiction Ideas?

As the title says, I'm curious if you have any fanfic ideas that you'd like to share. It doesn't have to be full ideas but something you'd just would like to get out.

I'll start, but be aware I mostly write Ruby focused crossover fics so most of my ideas don't involve the rest of WBY:

Idea 1: Ruby Rose as...

The idea is a dumb one I thought of when I was watching those mountain climbing gone wrong videos on YouTube and thought "What if Ruby trained to be a sherpa?" The idea eventually evolved into a version where Ruby Rose rejects Ozpin because Signal offers a specialization event where young wannabe Huntsman and Huntresses learn specific skills either for your standard Huntsman training, Scouting in Grimm infested areas, and all the stuff that'd be behind the scenes that most Huntsmen and Huntresses don't think of but might us.

Idea 2: Hell's Rose (Name in progress)

A Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku & RWBY crossover. This one sends a young Ruby Rose hurtling into Japan, some time in the mid 1800's, a time when the Sakoku/Japanese Isolation was still occurring. Being a foriegner and unable to speak the language (Something that get's solved via shenanigans I'm not 100% on yet) leads to Ruby being arrested and under threat of death gets involved in the expedition to Shinsenkyo.

Idea 3: (Name real in progress, but I'm most proud of this one!)

Now a bit about me, I like using the tag Grimm Invasion in Ao3, basically Remnant and this other world are still separate but due to portals or something the worlds are connected. This is one of them, a RWBY x Ouran High School Host Club fanfic where Yuzuru Suoh (Tamaki's father), during a busniess trip in Vale and a stop at a local store, gets involved in a robbery by nefarious thief Roman Torchwick. Lucky for him he gets saved by a young Huntress-In-Training, Ruby Rose. A fight happens, Roman gets away, but a thankful man offers his savior an opportunity of a lifetime, to become Ouron Academy's honored Remnant Select, a similar station to being a honor student where you earn you way in through merit, with the added bonus of various benefits that a young lady like Ruby couldn't imagine to afford, and to sweeten the deal (and for plot convenience) she is offered a special extra allowance to keep their new honor student safe from anyone who may try and think they can extort her for money.

Of course through Host Club shenanigans Haruhi dresses as a guy and because Ruby refuses to wear the girl's uniform also ends up dressing as a guy, though probably still be open about being a girl, be more towards those who was to "spice things up," aka Ruby becomes the girl crush to a bunch of rich girls (probably guys).

I know, I'm rattling on for this one, but I really like it, especially because I can think of a plot where people, probably with Tamaki hitting the nail in a coffin/the straw that breaks the camel's back, saying a lot of rude unintentionally rude things about Remnant and Ruby. "She's not just a commoner but she has to fight for her survival!" "Wow, I didn't expect someone from Remnant to have such good manners with how often they're fighting!" "If someone so cute can be a Huntress, maybe those Grimm aren't so bad."

Idk why, but I just find it fascinating the idea of Ruby being annoyed and peeved off at people not taking something she and generations of Huntsmen and Huntresses have put their lives on the line for and either trivializing it or Remnant if full of a bunch of brutes without a culture beyond hit and kill monsters.

Okay, those were my ideas! What're yours?

Any good Spider-Man x RWBY fanfics

Specifically anything like The Spectacular Ruby Rose. I liked it so much but I finished it and I’d love to see more stuff where Ruby Rose becomes the one and only Spider-Girl/Woman/Man/whatever the name would be!

It is a rare trait for most species to enter a deep state of rest known as “sleep,” and it is often seen as a dangerous thing for those who enter this state.

Beyond the fact that their physical bodies are left exposed and may be unaware, it is a common fact that in the event that the spores of a hive minded species reaches a world of intelligent life that has the habit of entering a deep sleep they take this moment to hijack and take the individual as a host.

We thought when the spore cloud hit Earth that it would mean the major death of humanity’s home world.

Turns out along with the fact that the spores not seeming to have much effect on humans besides giving them “allergies,” it seems that those who did get what would be enough to completely eradicate the original person in their system and fell asleep the hive mind seemed to stop functioning like one singular entity with a singular goal and instead began hopping from topic to topic over the course of 6 Earth Hours. When our local humans were asked about this they responded along the lines of “Dreams make no sense.”

Any Good Ruby Crossover Fics?

Title says it all, just want a Ruby focused Crossover Fic.

Like I don’t mind if the rest of RWBY are involved, but I’d prefer if Ruby is the sole or just main focus of the crossover.

I mainly use AO3 and Fanfic.net but I’m fine with other websites as long as it isn’t Wattpad.

Project Broken Moon Pt 2 (RWBY X Project Moon)

What is Project Shattered Moon?

Project Shattered Moon Part 1

Howdy, it's me. I'm back. What is Project Shattered Moon? To put it bluntly, it is the ramblings of an AU where I put the 4 Kingdoms of Remnant (Vale, Vacuo, Atlas, and Mistral) along with Kuo Kuana and Mantle and toss them into the world created by Project Moon.

Last we left off we went over how the worlds have interacted from year the start of the Great War 80 years ago, the world of Remnant being destroyed and tossing the locations I mentioned into the Outskirts of the City 60 years ago, all the way to the Kingdoms (Now called Outposts) and how they've gotten onto their feat up till 20 years ago. Now, here is my continuation of Project Shattered Moon. Here is the timeline so far:

>80 Years Ago: Great War
60 Years Ago: Faunus War
55 Years Ago (Remnant): Salem Gets The Relics, Remnant is destroyed with Kuo Kuana, Vale, Vacuo, Mistril, Mantle, and Atlas surviving.
55 Years Ago (PM World/Earth?): The Kingdoms arrive and are labeled Outposts, The City invests in the Outposts for research, The Branwen Gang (Eventually Clan) goes to the Outskirts to start anew.
50 Years Ago: Nicholas Schnee and his group begin research into replicating Dust to power the Outposts/Kingdoms so they can regain independence. Individuals at random with Aura feel a compulsion to head to the City.
49 Years Ago: Pietro Polendina begins research into Aura to make sure the City continues to support the people of Remnant in the Outposts.
45 Years Ago: Maria Calavera has her eyes properly removed and they become the Singularity which allows Pietro and Nicholas to provide for their people, and the rise of the Schnee Dust Corporation as well as the Remnata Orginization rise to fame and power. The Dodeka Association is properly established in the City. The term Pilgrim and Pilgrimage become known to those with Aura.
42 Years Ago: Qrow & Raven Branwen are born.
40 Years Ago: The effects of SDC and RO are felt as Huntsmen begin using them as a way of improving.
30 Years Ago: The Branwen Clan's heads are introduce to the 12 year old twins as their future leaders.
20 Years Ago: Sienna Khan, Ghira and Kali Belladonna organize and create the Beast, officially it is recognized as a syndicate
19- Years Ago: (To be added).

Now, with the basic info out of the way, and easy access to the first post and what was missed, let's get started:

The Hunter War

19 Years Ago, the Schnee Dust Corporation and the Remnata Organization's CEO's, Nicholas Schnee and Pietro Polendina, were at a party in the City. While there, the two got to talking with one another. Despite their differences in how they desire for the Outposts and the survivors of Remnant to persevere, they do want one thing and that is the well being of their own people, but the two men shared one trait, and that was their bleeding hearts. It was no secret the City had many troubles for their own lower income citizens. Despite having the ability to warp to and from other areas in 10 seconds, the same city allowed for cannibal restaurants that sold the meat of a man murdered not even an hour ago. It was hell on Earth for some and the two men wanted a way to improve some of these lives, if only a little. So the two businesses agreed on a merger.

Under the banner of the SDC, Pietro and Nicholas became partners and along with making deals with R Corp and the H Corp at the time and plotted the take over of District 9. Of course payment for such an operation would not be cheap, and so a deal was struck.

R Corp partook in replicating, and that itself was not a cheap process in terms of energy. As for H Corp, they focused on genetic augmentation and pushing the limits took time. The new SDC had the means to push them further, a basically free energy source and a new variable to enhance with the ability to pick and choose?

So, by the tail end of the year, finding both people to sacrifice bits of their Aura, building a disposable clone army and feeding dozens of Dust powered weaponry and holding dozens of Pearls at once? The Hunter War was over before anyone really knew what happened. It was not kind, it was not nice, it was brutal, efficient, and it was over in a week.

Now, while Pietro and Nicholas got attention, got scowls, criticized, questioned, berated, shunned, and so negative attention, the two men made a declaration. To the Outposts, to the people of the Nests, and to the people of the Backstreets. They will bring forth a new age where life won't be cruel, where you wont have to question if the day will be your last, they would make a life where everyone had proper protection.

Thus the Interdimensional-Schnee Dust Corporation, or I-SDC took over a Wing, and it was thanks to the desire to improve life, to make their people stand on their own, the assistance of both the old H Corp and R Corp, but especially the Broken Silver Eyes they had that allowed for their state.

Summer Rose

Their story started a few years back before the Hunter War, far away from the City in the Vale Outpost. A city far from the harsh life of the City, it was home to many people, many faces, and many types. Yet while those in the City might dream of a better life or maybe to be a cool Fixer or join a Syndicate, those in the Outposts dreamed of becoming Huntsmen and Huntresses. Those who protected their homes from Abnormalities that try and attack it and make things better for themselves.

For one team, however, they were special.

Taiyang Xiao Long, a man who had ventured to the City in his youth and during his stay as Pilgrim. During his time he found himself working, not with the Dodeka Association but finding a home with the members of Liu Association. Officially, he was not a member but a "private contractor," one that just so happened to fight with them for a year and did errands for them.

Raven and Qrow Branwen, officially they had "run away," from the Clan and have decided to become good guys and become a Huntsman and Huntress. Of course the unstated reason was obvious. Infiltration. You can only learn so much from each other and the world of Huntsmen and Huntresses had evolved. If they didn't want to be left behind or crushed they needed to get stronger.

Finally was the oddity of all oddities. Summer Rose. She was, to put it bluntly, normal. No great Pilgrimage to the City, not a single speck of blood on her hands, and no tragic backstory. She was normal. Yet, despite that fact, she was special all the same. How many people can you say you've seen with Silver eyes?

Over the course of Four Years, the four would make their mark in the halls of Beacon and become rather well known as trouble makers. And thanks to a dragon who smiled in the face of danger, a crow who learned misfortune isn't always out to get him, a raven who let her guard down, and a rose who refused to wilt, Team STRQ came out improved, better, and stronger than if they had gone without any of the other.

And then, on the eve of their graduation, when the trees were losing their leaves and Autumn winds brushed against you Summer lost her right eye.

No, lost wouldn't be right, stolen was the correct word. Pinned down and having your eye plucked by strangers in masks being the most terrifying thing in the world. No medicine to knock you out, no attempt at being covert, just a group of people holding you down, gagging you, and pulling out your eye. Then as they went for the next one they were attacked and they fled.

Who they were was unknown to Summer but she was saved. By her team. By the Headmaster.

The Right Silver Eye: Idol

At the time, it was simply known as just the Right Silver Eye. Yet the detail doesn't matter.

It didn't matter to Jacques Schnee, formally Gele. For he was the man who would inherit the I-SDC but also soon be the man in charge of District I. A paradise in the hellhole of the city. Once upon a time, District 9 was a place a place that was in charge of sewage, trash and other work that kept the city going but what did Big Nicholas do? He did keep them doing that, but he gave them proper health care, proper wages, and proper safety. You couldn't even enter the place without passing a checkpoint, which included the Backstreets. Crime, quality of life, overall happiness had gone up dramatically because of two old men.

And Jacques was taking advantage of all that already. Thanks to the Singularity Broken Silver the I-SDC controlled the Dust and Pearl market but while the Outposts were the only place you could get Pearls from and it had to be from a willing person Dust didn't care. It just needed a human touch, the essence of them, all resulting in growing Dust, and thanks to Nicholas' and Pietro's infostructure, he had an entire wing that would bleed for them. It didn't hurt that on top of the occasional truckloads of bodies R and the old H Corp sent them and the vast millions of people who would gladly bleed for the corporation, but production could always be fast, it could possibly be better.

The only thing holding him was how Broken Silver was limited, and there were no other Silver Eyes. Or he thought. The final Vytal Championship proved to him that hope was not lost. A girl by the name Summer Rose, she was young, early 20s, attractive, and obviously of good stalk. If he didn't care about the fact his wife and what her family brought to the table, or if he didn't care for status, he suppose he'd consider a "suicidal-bumpkin" like Summer.

But he was married. And he was about to control the largest company supported by the Outposts. So the woman herself did not matter. What did were the eyes. So he hired Mercenaries from R-Corp and asked for two things. Eyes and ovaries. The woman's life wasn't important. The wonders science does in the City, so long as he got his hands on the eyes he'd be happy but if he could farm them? He might be able to control the city.

Plans unfortunately go as poorly sometimes. As when they arrived back, all he had was a single Silver Eye. Sure the eye would be useful but the eye wasn't what he wanted. He wanted more and they brought the bare minimum.

The Inverted Grimm Eyes

The usage of the Silver Eyes was one that hinged on skirting around the rules put in place by the head. Each eye were connected to a black box, one that ran an artificial intelligence. Under normal circumstances that itself would not be allowed by the Head, but if you were to put said AI into a box, no limbs, no way of moving, no connection to anything but with the ability to replay the same events and be filled with a "dopamine" rush? Have it only able to do one thing and that was to experience joy to constantly shoot the silver light? Well, with care and very scrutinizing eyes that if went wrong would mean starting over, luckily Jacques could thank Pietro from long ago as he had created the P-3N engine (Lovingly called Pen Engines or Pengines for short).

Making p-3N engines were the easy part, but Jacques knew how he could get what he paid for, and R Corp would be the ones to aid him.

They disappointed him again. Actually, no saying they disappointed him would be wrong as, to be fair, the replication did not form correctly. Only with the right eye. No left.

So they disposed and got rid of the failed replicant. Again and again, no left eye. Only the right.

It was an annoyance, but after a while even a dozen failed replicants were more than enough for him. So he moved onto his next phase, how much could functional silver eyes do? So far the original eye had been working hard and it showed. The amount of light it produced was far greater, Dust production had rapidly shot up in both amount and time and the quality of the Dust?! Amazing!

Yet, Jacques wanted more, he wanted to know how far he could push things.

So 18 Years Ago with each eye he hooked them up to the P-3N engines Jacques did the smart thing and brought Pietro back from Atlas after his retirement to see what else he can do with the eyes and the engines.

Wrong.

He had his own people begin working on them, how much could he do with each eye? He knew well enough that Broken Silver worked by playing positive emotion, but where did it say that was the only thing they needed?

It was just so much easier to load the engines with memories of horrible things, outside District 9 it was hell, they could easily get bad memories, security, all of that negativity and test if that would work to make the engines work.

The process was simple, feed the engine and the eye objectively horrid memories and have the P-3N engine register them as good. With no real mind but the one in the black box that ran everything, it could not say what was good or bad.

And you know what? 5 days after the project started, the eyes started to work.

They worked amazingly well!

So well that Jacques ordered they up production, the Dust was being produced and driven out of the City like flowing water. More memories, more light! More! More! MORE!

And then the light changed.

Blinding silver light that came from the clone eyes, each and every one. One by one stopped shooting the warm light that was key to turning human waist, blood, and other bodily fluids into Dust and was replaced.

Dark. Pitch black despite the lights in the room. It was cold, spine chilling. Confusion filled the area as the vats where Dust were replaced by dark black liquid and when the eyes were turned off, the silver light was a pale gold.

The eyes had changed and what they produced was very much alive. But it would not be the I-SDC's problem. No, as the company, specifically Jacques had found someone who would take care of the horrid creations in the vats and others who would take the eyes.

Grimm Eclipse - Lobotomy Corporation

Lets back up a bit and talk about a particular girl. A special woman who had a vision, a dream. Someone who dreamed of curing the people of the City from "the disease of the mind." A dedicated women who with the help of others worked in secret in the Outskirts to bring together a group of people who would help bring this project to life.

This was the Seed of Light project. And her name was Carmen.

Carmen is dead.

The project is not.

No, instead it was led by a man we know as Ayin, and with the help of the I-SDC he gains access to something they want gone, a primordial ooze that is pure unbridled emotion. And with the Singularity possessed by the Lobotomy Corp, Cogito, they could give it form. Safe, stable, and controllable Abnormalities... or something similar to an Abnormality.

Along with that, the process of injecting this new liquid into people in tandem with Cogito, which would normally result in both causing death independently, increased survival rates roughly 4%. Sure those who survived seemed aggressive, paling, their eyes shifting between either a glowing red or yellow and bone began to grown on the surface of their skin in various places along with black hair replacing other colors, but survival was great. And producing more of the ooze from their saliva was great!

And then, 17 Years Ago, the lab was raided. Lots of people died, and the vats leaked...

To the normal person of the City, the ooze, while deadly, lacked the ability to take a proper form so as long as it didn't get into the body in any way. It was fine. That said, not great if they were Remnant.

Pilgrims, migrators, and people who found their home in the City and not the Outposts? They are not the same. Something primal in both groups can be felt. One is the primal feeling to avoid and run or fight their enemy since humanity walked Remnant and the other was the primal desire to destroy, kill, and tear them apart.

And when the survivors of the experiment, those who barely managed to survive the raid, they would go and find a Remnant. And attack unsuspecting victims.

From their the ooze and Cogito would get into them and they would turn and it would spiral and spiral and spiral.

They were turning, not from human and faunus into Grimm but something similar something just as evil, something hardly anyone had seen in a long long time.

These were the first Grimm anyone had faced in ages, and as it went from just normal people to Remnants, some with proper Aura, Pearls, and Dust? Things only got worse, more animalistic transformations, more power, and even more destruction filled the area.

Huntsmen and Fixers all came to the area. The worst of it occurring is District 9 with the highest Remnant population, but with only roughly 20k deaths, the event would be considered a tragic blip in the eyes of the people in the area.

The Smoke War - The Left Silver Eye - Hallow

15 Years Ago a young girl was born. Just like her mother she had black and red hair and two adorable silver eyes. Her name was Ruby Rose, and she, like it or not, would play the role in one of the most notable events in history in recent events.

Jacques Schnee was still a man of much power, but he himself had an issue. Two sides wanted him. He had ties with both and one had to win him if he wanted to have the access the tools the other provided.

On one side, he had the group supporting Lobotomy Corporation, an upstart that could produce mass amounts of energy and along with him there was TimeTrack and R Corp. On the other hand was H Corp who help feed his Dust empire with the poor unfortunate souls who gave him bodies to turn to slurry should not be able to take the body augmentation, they were working for the current L Corp.

Now, he had history with both sides, Lobotomy Corporation took his Grimm Ooze, but also gotten themselves into a mess that released it and killed lots of his people. That said what they offered still was promising. Yet the current L Corp that ran District 12 offered him the energy needed to keep the P-3N engines running that wouldn't burn from his pockets.

So, what is a man to do but to take full advantage of this and get what he desired. A proper set of eyes. He watched and he listened and he was willing to wager that if he had both eyes the Inverted Eyes could be avoided.

The job was simple. Summer Rose was pregnant and due any day. Whichever side brought him the eyes first would get not just his support, and thus the support of the people of the District 9, but also his Dust to back them up.

And so they were off to the races to kill a child! I mean kill an infant! One more time! Kill a small tiny human who can't so much as even speak yet.

The travel was definitely made easier thanks to the I-SDC's bullheads that allowed people to leave the City and travel hundreds of miles in the span of hours! And so the race for the Silver Eyes was on!

Unfortunately for anyone who desired to invade Vale, be they cockroach people or clones or Fixers or any other person on Jacques' payroll, invading the home of the Xiao Long-Rose's is not a simple manner.

Sure they technically live in a town outside of the Outpost of Vale, but there are a few things one must consider when it comes to hurting someone associated with either a Rose or a Xiao Long. They are smart and they are well connected.

One does not steal Silver Eyes and not ask questions. One does not hurt your best friend and think they will be left alone. One does not think whoever wanted Silver Eyes won't try and pull a move like this.

Taiyang Xiao Long had contacts, amazing what working with the Liu Association can down. Qrow Branwen, even if he himself left, knew that Raven was a marshmallow on the inside and wouldn't be watching from afar and that meant Branwens were at the ready if she so much as said to fuck shit up. And Summer? Well, she herself didn't have much in the terms of family, but Ozpin, her former Headmaster, was quite generous in calling in favors to make sure no one tried anything.

Smart, as the first night of Summer's birth of a cute little rose bud went stressfully but well. The second night was the day the fight began for one Ruby Rose. Not even a day old and she had people beating others with a stick to keep them away from her, in a certain immortal's case quite literally.

It was definitely a blood bath, with most of the blood coming from clones and bug people but a few Branwen Clan members without Huntsmen grade training were part of the casualty list. Still, when facing an army who were willing to kill, sometimes someone might just slip threw.

And this someone had a name of Myo.

The room was quiet with only three people. The R Corp employee, the mother still recovering from birth and the girl still to young to know what was happening and could only sleep.

Kill a child, it was all she had to do. It was what she was ordered to do. No one would interrupt her. Summer was frozen, "don't move and nothing happens," she said and now she was debating what she should do.

Because the glare from the woman, it made her fake pale gold eye sting. And when the little baby saw her, even with her rabbit mask on, it laughed and that stung more with silver looking her way.

She was lucky she had T Corp's aid for something that would make things easier.

Summer didn't really see what happened next, one moment the rabbit was there and the next she was gone and the little girl was crying.

One eye gone but not both. The wound closed by something hot but kept the little girl from bleeding out.

Call it an act of cruel kindness, but that was the only person who managed to get into her room.

The raid on their home came to an end, bodies piled and Ruby had been hurt but with proper treatment would live.

The mission was deemed a failure, and 13 Years Ago Lobotomy Corporation, with the assistance of R Corp, TimeTrack took down Old L Corp and those who tried to aid them.

And District 26 got itself something someone with a singularity at its back and call.

The Grimm Plague & Silver Night

It was 7 Years Ago when the Grimm reached the Outposts. Now, they had been a known threat in the past and ever since their return/arrival things in the Outskirts had been getting dicey and more dangerous than normal with Abnormalities being the normal threat that was dealt with. Most people who became Grimm only had a few days at best now with Aura size being the thing that usually determined how long it would take, but it made those without Aura turn almost instantly.

All it took was for infection and the transformation to take effect was one bite. Aura itself was enough to protect you and if so long as you killed the source quick enough before a transformation could begin then you'd have nothing to worry about.

Though when a large amount of people got turned at once, that is when things got challenging.

Beowolves, packs of them came rushing the Vale and Mistral Outposts and started the Grimm Plague.

The most the average person could do was try and remain calm and not be noticed while they waited for the Huntsmen to kill them and make things safe once more. A hard task and should a Huntsman fall a far more powerful Grimm would rise and take their place.

It was a fight that would take months to stop, and while Mistral had the ability for its people to hide higher up and was relatively safe, it was Vale who struggled as they were surrounded by woods they planted. No way of truly knowing when more would come until they arrived and whenever one breached it would lead to another outbreak.

Until the Silver Night, when one day when a large hoard of Grimm broke through the walls and had gotten a 1/5th of the Vale Outpost's population, Silver Light bathed the sky, and while heavily transformed and older Grimm such as those who had become something like a King Taijitsu, others who were far less drastic in their transformation became docile, their bodies shrinking back to normal and bone plates falling off.

Those who returned to normal still had some degree of change, such as their eyes and some bone still remaining, but for the most part their bodies had returned to some normalcy. Sure, some traits did linger and emotional reading and tracking stayed, they could still continue living normal lives.

White Nights and Black Days & What Follows

Skip ahead and now 1 Year Ago the event that would bath the City in both Light & Darkness occurred. The Seed of Light Project has finally come to fruition and it will now help the people of the City!

Or... it would've if it lasted the 7 days it was intended to, instead it was cut short and as a result the Light brought by Lobotomy Corporation has left people with incomplete seeds, and leaving things incomplete.

What happened next would be known as the Distortion Phenomenon, those who had experienced significant and great emotional instability who bore witness to this light and could not properly overcome it would Distort into monsters. Different from Grimm which only could take proper form with Remnants, this had no limitations.

Distortions showed up, but perhaps the most well known of them appeared mere months after the White Nights and Black Days, The Pianist.

District 9, ran by the I-SDC is without a doubt one of the most peaceful places in the City, with the lowest crime rate outside The Head of Districts A, B, and C. Yet here was ground zero for District I's second disaster after the Grimm Eclipse.

It appeared and started playing its piano. Over 300,000 victims, 80% of District I's population killed in the one event.

Eventually the Pianist would be put down and with it District I as well as the I-SDC were left nearly completely ruined.

After the Pianist defeat, many things occurred in short succession. Most of which were caused by the legendary color fixer the Black Silence who in the span of months crippled one of the 5 Fingers, the Middle and brought down an office that created puppets made from humans amongst other various acts for months before their rampage came to a stop.

The City Now

We start in an apartment in the middle of the City's District R. It is "nice," if you can call a minimalist aesthetic nice but it is located in the Nests and it was more than enough for two people, even if one of the two only showed up every so often.

But it is fine, not for one Eve.

Though it would be better if a nagging feeling in her would go away... Her big sister Myo would probably bug her if she said she seemed to be getting sick.

Outpost Vale Now

A young 15 year old Ruby Rose. Her desire to be a Huntress shining bright, doing good, fighting nasty monster, her family being super duper awesome! She lived the dream!

But she herself could say she did always want more. More friends would be best, people tend to act weird around you when you don't got an eye, but Ruby was fine. Weapons were a good substitute and her Uncle was the best showing her how to fight!

She even was planning on going to her next school year for Training School up until recently.

Until... she felt it. A feeling that had her looking away from Vale and her home town as she felt a need to follow an instinct she didn't know she had and was just to walk away and go somewhere.

Ruby Rose felt the call to answer the call of the Pilgrimage.

Wrap Up!

OKAY! That was Part 2 of Project Shattered Moon, sorry for any typos and spelling error. I hope you enjoyed and would consider asking any questions that I can expand on and see where this will go!

Like last time I'll leave a timeline of all the major plot beats of the story! Again please let me know what you think and how you'd like to see this go?

Timeline

>80 Years Ago: Great War
60 Years Ago: (Remnant was destroyed and the Kingdoms and stuff was moved)
SKIP 40 YEARS
19 Years Ago: Remnata Org and the SDC merge to take over District I as the Interdimensional-Schnee Dust Company (I-SDC). Jacques Schnee in the months following the claiming of District I and months before Pietro and Nicholas step down hires R-Corp to steal the eyes of Summer Rose to increase busniess. Summer's left eye is stolen.
18 Years Ago: Jacques is the CEO and has, with the aid of R Corp made clones to harvest more eyes, something goes wrong and the vats that would become Dust transform into some Grimm Ooze. The broken eyes are given to R Corp and the vats go to a still semi-new Lobotomy Corp.
17 Years Ago: The raid on LobCorp goes down and along with many deaths the Grimm Ooze spills and people with it and Cogito in their system infect Remnants with a Grimm Infection transforming them into more proper Grimm. (Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, Weiss Schnee amongst others are born)
15 Years Ago: The Smoke War starts. Summer gives birth to Ruby Rose and Jacques Schnee plans an assault that pits both sides to fight for his aid. An R Corp rabbit manages to break into Summer and Ruby's room and instead of stealing both eyes only steals one.
7 Years Ago: Grimm have arrived and have started to attack both Mistral and Vale and while Mistral manages to keep it at bay Vale isn't doing to hot. One day however a bright Silver Light washes over the night sky somewhat curing the infected and restoring some to a somewhat normal state.
1 Year Ago: The White Nights and Dark Days event occurs and months after The Pianist shows up in District I, killing 80% of its population and driving the I-SDC's City branch to near ruin. The Black Silence goes on his rampage.
Present: A one eyed girl by the name of Eve has a nagging feeling and at the same time Ruby Rose feels the supernatural urge to go on a Pilgrimage.

With that, that is the world of Project Shattered Moon that leads all the way up to Library of Ruina! If you cannot tell, Eve is a clone of Ruby. Why? Because I want one! >!The real reason is because no one outside of the I-SDC and actual Silver Eyed individuals (Maybe sans Ruby?) doesn't know how they work and what they can do properly. Ruby is "technically" dead, or so it was reported so the clone is "technically," not breaking any rules. So for the past 15ish years Eve has been R Corp's way of understand Silver Eyes.!<

Fun Fact: Eve's name is simply because Ruby was born on Halloween or All Hallows Eve.

I'd love to know what you'd like to see next. Look into characters? How things would interact? TELL ME! ASK ME! I'M DYING TO WRITE MORE BUT AM UNSURE OF WHAT! LET ME KNOW!

Project Shattered Moon (RWBY X Project Moon)

What is this?

Howdy. For all who are curious, this is just my dumb ramblings on an AU that combines the people of Remnant and dumps them into the world created by Project Moon, the people behind Lobotomy Corp, Library of Ruina, and Limbus Company. I'll assume you are familiar with some of the works of Project Moon, but if you aren't just know the world created by Project Moon is a super dystopian world with only one massive city the size of a country divided into "26" areas called a wing, one per letter but there is no Z.) Outside that are the Outskirts, a lawless land not governed by the city.

https://preview.redd.it/ey1epwuryzfh1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b0d1959520185a95980ee96ba65697b60c7ddb45

I'll leave any further details to when I explain this setting or to you to find in videos and the wikis, for now, let's get started.

The Fall of Kingdoms

80 or-so odd years ago the world of Remnant had its greatest war, one might call it a Great War. Typically, this war would have ended with the 4 kings ending the war thanks to the King of Vale, the councils were established, the CCT would begin, and peace restored to the land. This is where our first change appears.

The war ends, the peace was had, and the kingdoms prosper as the Academies are set up and Huntsmen and Huntresses take the stage. The Faunus War would eventually occur 20 years later, but like the last one, it eventually ended and the Faunus would get the acknowledgment they deserved, and at the meeting, in front of all eyes, the former King of Vale, an old man now shakes the hand of the leader of the Faunus War, the man that the Faunus rallied behind, the former King, a hero to the people of Vale, was shot dead. Murdered and when the murder jumped to mock the dead king, he stole Crown and his Sword and fled into the wild, never to be seen again.

A mass man hunt is had, trying to find who stole from the former king, who would kill the man, and the answer is quite simple, someone who did not want humanity to prosper and to bring a man to his knees. The two Relics of the king would travel far, until eventually reaching the hands on a dark continent, where one single woman would use them to great effect.

5 Years it took. Vale and Vacuo, and the rising capital of Menagerie, Kuo Kuana were hardly touched, but Mistral, Mantle, and Atlas were hardly safe as one day a sudden burst of power broke through defenses, brought Grimm in droves, and eventually a lone women stood. A Lantern, A Staff, and the King's Crown and Sword brought together brought Gods to the world.

Two Brothers, one of Light and Darkness arrive and see man once more. They see how some shun those who are different; the Faunus. See how man still divides itself by multiple banners; the Kingdoms. They see, and see, and see. They, however, did not see Ozma as the one who brought them forth, but a woman who has scored them for so long.

While they made a promise to him of what would happen should they be summoned, they could understand that Ozma had failed to guard the Relics from a selfish woman, they could see Ozma trying still. It was a mercy, one that would be the Gods only mercy to them.

The bastons of humanity, and only these bastons will live. Sent somewhere else entirely, and everything else will die.

The Kingdoms of Atlas, Mistral, Vacuo, and Vale, along with the Mantle and Kuo Kuana would be given the chance to live, but not on Remnant. They would watch as the world outside these homes crumbled, destroyed, left and turned to dust as they were all that was left. No warning was given, no time to prepare, just nothing...

The Five Outposts

55 years ago, the world of Remnant was destroyed. Only a handful of people were left with a void being their only company.

And suddenly the void was filled. A landscape of baron land filled the area around each area, but the fractions of Remnant were on solid ground. And a connection was restored. Split between five points, though far apart, the six remnants of Remnant were still there, still kicking. Not alone.

Yet, at the center of all of this, at the middle point of this, a lone, massive city stood. Equidistant from each new location, it wasn't long till The City learned of massive, if relative to what else is out there, settlements the size of a single Wing of its imposing body.

In the span of 3 years, everything seemed to find some semblance of normalcy. Somewhat. It was a world without Grimm but one with many dangers and the Huntsmen and Huntresses fought, but this was a world without Dust all the same.

The once hearts of Kingdoms, now just outposts, were slowly falling but thanks to the generous aid of the City, the Five Outposts stayed afloat. Though for how long that generosity would last was a question none really knew. How long would the survivors of Remnant be interesting? How long till there was nothing left to learn? How long till they just became people of the Outskirts and not just a burden on the Head as well as something doomed to fall into obscurity?

Sure, the people of the Outposts were different, there were of course the Faunus, those with animal traits born into them, and there were your average human, but what did make them stand out, what made them worthy and earned them the attention of the Head to pour who knew how much into them were the floating city Atlas, Dust, and of course themselves with Aura and Semblances.

Dust was limited, as all the Dust that was left was used by the Huntsmen and researchers, so finding a way to produce this fantastical crystal to restore the Outposts to their former glory was the top priority of most.

The floating city, and by extension the air crafts of Remnant, were worthy of attention. A place as dense as the City, if one could get over it? It'd be worth a pretty penny. If someone could live in the sky without a care? It'd be worth a fortune of pretty pennies.

Lastly was the Aura and Semblances of individuals. Something exclusive of those of Remnant origins. The grass, the trees, the animals, the people, each one could produce a natural barrier that could enhance someone, could heal themselves from minor wounds, and with proper training gain them an exclusive power. It was something that, should if be harnessed, it could perhaps prove to be worth the investment of the Outposts.

Schnee Dust Corp & Remnata Organization

50 Years Ago, a young and desperate man by the name Nicholas Schnee needed to find a way to not only improve the Outposts but also find a way to make them stand independently from the City. So, he and his men who would follow him into Hell and back sought to discover the way to replicate Dust.

Dust itself is a relatively unknown material, sure using it has been the lifeline of Remnant's humanity forever, but how it was made, how it worked the way it did and not some other way? That was something no one had cracked and Nicholas would strive to be the one to crack the question.

49 Years Ago living in Mantle, a scientist and inventor by the name Pietro Polendina decides that if he wants to make a difference and save the Outposts from being abandoned, he must make them valuable enough to latch onto, and so he decides to find a way to make Aura usable, but he himself dreams of one day making Mantle, Atlas, and all the relics of the world of Remnant shine bright one day.

45 Saying that the past 10 years now had been hard on the Outposts would be an understatement. They were reliant, desperately so, on the aid of a place that made it abundantly clear that its entire support was built on making money. Kuo Kuana itself had been parts of itself transformed to accommodate the rich of the City as a "quaint vacation spot without the worries of modern living." Yet it was on year 10 that the Outposts finally have both the means to guarantee the City's continued investment into them but also the means for them to shine brightly once more.

The Schnee Dust Corporation, founded by one Nicholas Schnee, had done it. Dust Crystals, new ones, ones not from the nearly depleted reserves the Outposts had. It was the future to the Remnants independence. On the same year, Pietro Polendina, founder of the Remnata Organization, would create the Pearls, solidified, crystalized, portable Aura and Semblances.

It is said that when it came to the SDC and Remnata they were two halves of the same coin. One was the belief of putting your blood sweat and tears into your product while the other was to bear your soul to the world to show them your worth.

What most would come to find out is that those two philosophies of thought were as close to home as you could get with these two and their method of production.

Dust Crystals needed a core, one that was easy enough to get with Dust itself as the basis, both grown or originally mined, and from there human essence is needed to allow the Dust Seeds to grow. Bodily fluids were what was needed for Dust to grow, blood being the most abundant, but they could get, but any would do. The DS would grow in the vats, until eventually becoming a much larger crystal, and from there you simply break off a piece and toss it into a new vat as the DS and start again.

As for the Pearls, Pietro created the first one all on his own. To slowly and methodically remove a portion of ones own Aura was crazy, he had no one who would let him, so he did it to himself, and slowly he made the first Pearl from himself. A person can produce around 3-4 Pearls total, though one can simply make one single pearl from a person and remove the entirety of someone's Aura and Semblance, but with each segment of Aura removed a notable and drastic decline in health has been observed and death being the outcome for complete and total removal.

Rumor has it that both the SDC and Remnata both have a singularity of their own which aids them in the production, but as of now, it is unknown.

The Huntsmen, the Pilgrimage, and the Association

40 Years Ago the people of Remnant had become mostly self reliant and the Outposts became quite well known as the only other place you could go if you didn't want to live in the City where you are just going to be exploited or the Outskirts were you are not garneted a safe place for hundreds of miles.

That said, the Huntsmen and Huntresses of Remnant, those given the job of protecting its people are the one true line of defense for any abnormalities who try and tear down the Outposts. Yet despite that as the world they used to work under has changed, so to has the means they use to fight.

Any Huntsman and Huntress worth their salt always caries at least one Pearl on them at any time, most acting as secondary Aura supply for them but in rare cases holding a Semblance inside to provide more strength. Students often only have one or none. Most Huntsmen Academies, businesses and settlements nearby The Outposts have their own Schnee Approved Dust Machine (Lovingly called the SAD-Mac™) which will drain 1.5 paints of blood in exchange you will receive whichever Dust of your choosing withing 25-30 minutes.

Yet, despite all of this, those with Aura, be they students, trained Huntsmen, or even a criminal with no formal training, those with Aura at some point or another will feel a call to head out into the Outskirts and to the City. Not everyone gets this, but those who do feel an intense desire to go, this sudden desire has been labeled as the Pilgrimage. Ignoring the signs or being unable to go seems to be detrimental to the one experiencing them, being a lack of focus, sleep, and even a foggy mind. It does not seem to be deadly but it is best to accept the call and go forth.

The Pilgrim always seem to have some sort of combat skill and never occurs more than once in a person, but once the journey to the City is complete a Pilgrim usually stays for a year before the call to the City disappears and they can head home. Those who travel tend have so far proven some sort of change occurs with ones Semblance while in the City. The only known outcomes so far are for someone to lose their Semblance, for it to completely change, to evolve, or in the case of some who use Pearls, for any additional Aura and Semblances to be added to their own.

Not everyone leaves the city, and because of both the dangerous journey to and from the Outskirts, some Remnants stayed behind and formed the Dodeka Association, a group who regulate Dust, Pearls, and Remnants who migrate to the city with some traveling between the City and the five Outposts for various reasons.

Huntsmen in the Association are similar but distinct from both Huntsmen and Fixers from both the Outposts and City respectively. Huntsmen in the Association are ranks as follows: Rumors who do mostly grunt work, Story who do more meaningful tasks as well as are often assistants to other higher ranking members, Fairy Tales, or Tales for short oversee a numerous small groups and the bottom of the "big guns." Myths often don't live in the city, as their role as someone who can handle what life throws at them, is to guide Pilgrims from the Outskirts to checkpoints where they will be safe in the Outskirts. Finally are the Epics, the bosses of the Dodeka Association, their exact job is unclear but each one is given a secondary name based off a Grimm.

The Branwen Clan and the Beasts

Crime will always appear and it isn't a surprise that the Remnants would have some of their own. Most of the well known criminals of Remnant are long gone, as many who hit and ran the main cities of Remnant had a hide out outside of the walls, and thus were unfortunately unable to get to safety.

Yet maybe it was divine luck that the Branwen Clan, better known as the Branwen Gang at the time, had been imprisoned at the time in Mistral when the world of Remnant disappeared. Of course, that was ages ago, and now when crime between humans and Faunus come to mind in the Outskirts you think of the Branwen Clans.

Large and outside the City and the Outposts eyes, the Branwen are the most feared name around the Mistral Outpost. Rumors spread about them, that they kill Pilgrims, that they eat people, that they have a massive army, and only two of those three are true.

Yes, they kill, but that's hardly a fair complaint when they only do it when the person or people they are robbing don't hand over their belongings and that army of theirs is only "big," in terms of being big enough to barely populate what was formally known as Argus, and even then the main tribe is only a fraction, everyone under the name Branwen served under them but also weren't that close.

Now, 30 Years Ago, when the heads of the Tribes, the heads of the Clan, arrived at the main Tribe's base, the official debut of the next heirs of the Clan were introduce on their 12th birthday. Twins, Raven and Qrow.

To be in the Branwen Clan, it meant you grew up fast and ruthless. A place where the weak either die, grow, or serve, and the twins where perfect examples of what the tribe represented. The twins never loss a fight against any of their piers unless it was against their other half, their wit with others was something that shined in how to take advantage of a situation, and the charisma they showed was something a leader would need, Raven commanded a room but earned their loyalty with proof of her strength while Qrow, a young man who would be the approachable one of the two, earning trust with words and a sense of compassion. Sure, he did not purely follow the strong rule and the weak die way of thinking but it was the strong make others strong sort of belief that allowed for the growth of his piers in the tribe.

20 Years Ago, the people of Kuo Kuana found their banner to rally under. Those who wanted both to stand tall without the reliance of other Outposts and the City as well as the rights for their Brothers and Sisters not with them that were scattered.

Thus, young upstarts in Kuo Kuana would created the first Faunus "Syndicates" The Beast. Split between 3 parts, the Beast wanted rights, they wanted to stand tall, and they wanted it by themselves.

The Beast had three heads and three divisions. The Fang, the Talon, and the Tail. Leading the Fang was Ghira Belladonna. With him being the face, he would act as the voice of the Beast as well as the first one to attack should the need arise. Next is the Talon, led by Sienna Khan. Should Ghira give them the word the Talon acts as the enforcers, the real combat unit of the Beast as a means of supporting the cause. Finally is the tail, led by Ghira's wife, Kali Belladonna. The role of recon, surveillance, and information gathering all lies on their shoulders to support the Beasts.

Singularity - Broken Silver

To take over a Wing, one needs one of two things. get a vacant position in a Wing, via removal of its previous overseer or by the pure chance a Wing is just left abandoned, and secondly you'll need what is commonly known as a Singularity.

Currently, in the possession of two different groups, the SDC and RO both posses a single Singularity. Together. Specifically, the two corporations have half of a singularity known as the Broken Silver Eyes.

Long ago, in the world of Remnant there was a woman named Maria Calavera and she was a legendary Huntress, one who had the ability to freeze and obliterate Grimm with a single glance, and because of that she was hunted and almost killed. She is lucky the only thing she lost that day was her sight.

This power she lost access to, it was not her Semblance, but something tied deeply to her soul and who she was, the power of a Silver Eyed Warrior. She was lucky she survived Remnant's loss and was close friends with Pietro who kept her vision operational for years longer than it should have with dying dust powered artificial eyes.

It was when Pietro found out about the abilities of Silver Eyes that allowed him to fully power the production of stable and usable Pearls did Maria make him an offer for her bum eyes. One he accepted.

One eye would go to him and the other go to the man who wanted to bring Dust back to the people.

The Silver Eyes can produce near limitless energy so long as they are firing, it is because of how they were cut and healed that they produce a specific amount that coincidently matches the intensity of what is needed for the production of Pearls and Dust.

It is unknown if other Silver Eyes would be more effective, produce higher quality Dust and Pearls, or if there are any left.

End for now

Okay, this is a lot! So, thank you for reading my ramblings. I'll probably post a part 2 going into my ideas of other things, but till then I want to know: What are things you'd like to know about, how do you think certain things would effect others, etc. etc. Bellow will be TL:DR of the timeline just so there is something to easily wrap brains around

Hope you enjoyed my ramblings. Please let me know what you think, thoughts and ideas, you get the gist!

How would Ameri & Azz Respond?

Marked Spoilers as this goes over the Trickster Plan

So I have been rereading the manga and have returned to the announcement of the Trickster Plan, and a part of me are curious, as both Ameri and Azz are both considered candidates (even if we all know Azz would gladly have Iruma take the throne), how would they respond to the question of what type of Netherworld would they build.

For the sake of the conversation, let’s assume Azz doesn’t say something along the lines of “What Iruma wants.”

I am also a little curious about what Sabro would say, as Baal suggested him but as he said he wouldn’t take part I suppose we can ignore him.

What would happen if Kalego never became Iruma’s familiar?

So as the title says? What would happen if Iruma didn’t summon Kalego?

Let’s say for the sake of the exercise Iruma did manage to pass the summoning part in some way and didn’t get expelled during the whole summoning thing. How would things change in the story?

Like let’s take Walter park, I l think Kalego’s role wouldn’t change much. I imagine he’d still go because 1: Balam, 2: Sullivan, and 3: His biggest headache Opera. The scene with the three of them might be different but the end result would probably be the same.

If anyone else knows any other points that might be change or would have some form of interference because of this, let me know (I am caught up with the manga.)

The Day The Loops End

It is still debated whether or not what the gods of distant planets and galaxies did was an objective good or not, but what is known is that what was done was a mercy to the God of Earth.

All life, all intelligent life that is, all have a few to a single one God to give credit to for the species rise. Yet Earth? Its humans did not have a God or Gods.

Now, perhaps this was simply due to the unending curiosity of the foreign gods to mankind, but the question about the missing god left them craving an answer.

The answer however disturbed them far more than they realized. Each and every human was humanity’s God. Not Gods, not several. They, even as they stepped into the infinite space realized that they were their own God.

They were all the same. From the lost spirits of the long dead all the way to those being born at every moment. Each was a new incarnation of a God trapped by something or someone. Never to remember always to become the next human once the body dies.

How the loop broke was a mystery, but the second humanity’s god was broken free the seemingly limitless humanity, given the history of every human that ever was from that moment on, seemed to only get more wild. Now, if that’s good for the greater galactic collective, that’s still up for debate, but for those who knew the twisted fate of their God, it was preferable than knowing one of the most boundless species was doomed to suffer.

Huntsmen & Huntresses & Hunters

Unsure if tag is appropriate, but think this could fit as well.

I'm working on making a Hunter Ruby fanfic, not one about Huntsmen & Huntresses but one where Ruby decides to take learning to be a Hunter rather than a Huntress. Instead of facing Grimm with combat skills to take out a gang of criminals, she'd specialize in tracking, basic survival, hunting animals all that jazz.

So, the main reason I'm here is to ask: In the world of Remnant, with Huntsmen and Huntresses being a distinct career from Hunters, I'm curious if there would be any sort of rules or stand out differences and similarities between the two groups.

For example: I personally think they'd have similar weapons to Huntsmen but would probably lack a collapsed state and typically have tools more practical for hunting. Like a shovel that can turn into a gun. Or maybe they are trained to use Aura in a less conservative way since fighting Grimm isn't their main goal. And one I think a lot of Hunters would say is making a clear distinction between them in Huntsmen "Hunters aren't Huntsmen!"

Let me know what you think, what ideas you have and how you'd expand on Hunters in a world of Huntsmen & Huntresses.

Fate/Stay Night x Harry Potter

Hello, I’m new here.

I’m looking for any good Fate/Stay Night fics with Harry Potter.

Ideally, something that is longer than 25k words, has either Shirou Emiya and/or Rin Tohsaka in the cast of characters, and not be a story where “Character A wakes up and is in the body of Character B.”

Any recommendations are welcome. I mostly use Ao3 and FF.net, but I’m open to any other source other than Wattpad.
