2013 hyundai accent 131k odo automatic

i know pretty much nothing about cars (+ this is my first car) but i’ve had this engine code on for so long, I wasn’t able to deal with it due to money and personal issues

today i decided i’d finally do something about it, i got an oil change with valvoline maxlife synthetic blend (the one that helps w oil burning & leaks)

i heard that that may help the engine code, and my friend has a reader that can clear it so we cleared the code after the oil change, and it came back on quite quickly, so we drove back home and cleared it again, we drove about .5 mile down the road, and then turned back around, and it turned back on after about .75 a mile, and then we cleared it again, and left it idling for a bit trying to let the oil run

it turned back on some point during the idling

it isn’t making any odd noises and there’s no active concerning issues, but i read my other option is the timing belt but i also read that is a very expensive repair and frequently has loud noise / stalling / rattling which none i have

is there anyway to determine exactly what’s causing this? or should it be good now that the oil change is done?

it had very low & dark oil prior, and the light was on for about 5-7 months, i’m not sure exactly how long because i had a gas cap light for a while and assumed it was that, only issue i have that could be related to this is slow acceleration

edit: code is P0017, forgot to add because this is a repost

gm wants to do my orientation one on one?

they said it was because the gm wants to get to know the hires better, but is there a different reason this could be for?

i’m freshly 18 and applied to be a server

shift from hell: 4th edition

you closed last night, left at 11 pm because this new tl-mic you’re training refuses to let any single corner be cut and it has to be all by the books.

personal reasons happened, you didn’t get much sleep. say, 2.5 hours. you wake up with a horrible headache and your period started!

you DID request and get this day approved to be off months ago, but your options were either be guilt tripped or open. you chose open.

you wake up at 5 am, you pop 3 excedrin and go to the gas station for 2 redbulls and go to work.

you get there at 5:20 and go inside. you start your tasks and wait for your line / reg openers to get inside.

6:20, you notice no other car is in the parking lot. your two openers aren’t here yet, so you start opening the line just because you finished your stuff already.

6:45, you start to get scared and debate calling them. you decide to start making eggs.

your reg opener finally shows up at 6:57 but it’s okay you guess

your line opener just never shows up. she has a history of no call no show so you get irritated.

your gm & one other associate is supposed to be here at 7, and it’s 7:06 right now…

soon it’s 8:12 and you’re here without your line opener, your gm, or your 7-3.

you try to call your gm, he doesn’t answer and it doesn’t even ring.

you call your agm, she answers, and says she’s 4 and a half hours away for the holiday.

times aren’t that good because your reg opener doesn’t know anything besides reg, and it’s BUSY?

How to be “normal”?

I am a 17 year old girl, soon to be 18. I was raised in an abusive, hoarder, and generally disgusting house. I was used to the behavior and just accepted it was going to be a thing until I moved out.

Long story short, my mother decided to cut my 10 year old brother’s life short earlier this year. She has since been arrested, and I now live with only my father still in our house. I am hoping to move out in the next few months.

But, the more I try to become cleaner, the more I realize I don’t know what the hell im doing for sure.

Its hard to find tutorials or real numbers that aren’t “influencer style”

I want honest advice.

What hygiene do you guys do?

How often do you do laundry?

How often do you wash your hands truly?

How often do you change undergarments?

How often do you guys clean your room? / Do you have specific things you do daily to keep it “clean”?

Things of this type, sorry if this sounds super super stupid and weird

Give me any tips to be normal and be cleaner and everything ever in between.

long story short.. i was stupid. wanted my pierogies crispy and turned on broil, forgetting they were on parchment paper. the paper caught on fire, i sprayed the fire extinguisher in the oven, turned off the smoke alarms, and opened all the windows and turned all the fans on (picture of what the oven looked like after spraying the fire extinguisher)

i called my dad and he told me to put the oven on self cleaning mode, which i did. it smells like a slight burning, but no smoke is coming, and i only see some slivers of orange at the bottom, where as when the fire started i saw it all clearly at the top, and this is where the heat usually comes from. should i be concerned about this too? (picture below)

there’s no more smoke coming out, but i worry about me and my cat and my dog. my dad isn’t getting home until 12 am and i am 17f.

my house is still smokey, im sorry if this is the wrong spot to post this
