Hi - I’ve had a permanent colostomy now for over 3 years. The past 2-3 weeks I’ve been having a lot of days with really bad contraction like pain in my intestines/stoma. The pain is off and on - 5 min or 15 min between pain and then again. Nothing really comes out other than mucous. This will sometimes last all day long for 10+ hours. Sometimes a firm poop will come out and that sometimes relieves the pain. Usually firm stool is normal for me though and does not cause any pain.

I’ve already emailed my doctor about it, but just wondering if anyone has experienced this before?

Also I do have Hirschsprung’s disease and slow motility.

New to the area and new to road cycling as well. Coming from a MTB background and trying to get more comfortable riding on roads with cars. Any recommendations on some good routes with a decent amount of climbing? Roads with somewhat of a shoulder or bike lane would be great. I took Serrano > Bass Lake > Cameron Park and that wasn't too bad. Something similar would be great.

New to road biking and have a carbon railed saddle along with a carbon seatpost.

Any concern using a saddle bag and have it rubbing on the rails?

Having trouble setting up my Varia 820 to work within the Edge 850. I have the sensor confirmed 'connected' and my sound and visual alerts are on. However, when vehicles come up behind me, I do not get any sound or visual alert.

I've tried removing and re-pairing the Varia to the Edge, but still have the same issue. As mentioned, the Varia 'connects' to the Edge just fine. I just get no alerts.

I then tried testing the Varia iPhone app with the Varia, and the alerts work just fine on my iPhone. It's just not working on the Edge.

Any tips to what I may be doing wrong?

Both items are new and were just setup the other day (first ride).

Are there any road specific looser style road bike jerseys? As in t-shirt loose? Not a club fit jersey.

Not really needing pockets or anything. Just something that won’t soak up like a cotton t.

Obviously can go the MTB jersey route but curious if any "roadie" brands make them?
