Finally Complete
Finished USM about two weeks ago, and it was an amazing series. Finally got Vol. 2 on the reprint and now my collection is complete. Started Miles’ run as well about 7 issues through!

When did auto offers become a thing? Last message I sent before getting in the shower was “I’ll pass”. Came back to a sale I didn’t offer
Are these three books a good introduction to the more recent era of X-Men? If so, what are some reviews of these books?
3 new books in 24 hours. Puts me at 20 DC omnibus with 15 being Batman of course and the two being Nightwing (New 52) and The Flash by Mark Waid. Very few DC characters I like to read, with the Bat-family being high on my list! What’s everyone’s opinion on the Rebirth run and the Taylor/Redondo run? Also are there other Bat-family books I should look into?
Glad these 3 books showed up right before I was about to leave out for work.
Vol. 3 has arrived and after seeing that this run finishes in this book with issue #100, idk if I want/need Vol. 4 in my collection. I am very close to finishing Vol. 1 as well.
Currently on chapter 197, and this manga is nowhere near what I was expecting when I clicked play on Netflix. It is such a deep historical story and, honestly, one of the best media I have had the privilege of reading/watching. The current ongoing conflict is driving me insane because both sides have valid stances. I'm looking forward to seeing it resolved!
Finished Deluxe Vol. 8 today so I ordered these from Amazon right after. Hopefully I don’t finish these too quickly.
Best way to finish the manga after deluxe book 8?
Just sold my sealed copy of JLA by Grant Morrison so I can pre-order this Batman book. Still making my way through the New 52 era, but hopefully soon I’ll be in the rebirth era of Batman.
Is there a legit reason on keeping the omnibus if I’ve now transitioned to collecting the single issues? I only have vol. 1 and can’t find vol. 2 for a good price. Or do I hold out for a reprint and have both single issues and OHC?
Don’t think I need the Omnibus anymore. Only missing a few issues!
Training Day has always been a movie I loved and GoodFellas I first watched last year and gave a 5/5 on Letterboxd. Couldn’t pass up for $7 total on Amazon!
My goal for the month of May was to finish the 2015 Star Wars run and start, then finish the Doctor Aphra Omnibus Vol. 1. After 23 days, I finally completed both.
Overall, I’d give the 2015 Star Wars run about a 3/3.5 out of 5. The Jason Aaron issues were definitely the highlight for me, while the Kieron Gillen issues brought the rating down a bit. Even so, there were still some really great stories throughout the run. The arcs in the first half especially felt like peak Star Wars writing, and I really enjoyed the crossovers and character development.
One major con for me was the art style in a lot of the issues. The hyper-realistic approach just didn’t work in my opinion, and I found it distracting more often than not.
As for Doctor Aphra, that run is a solid 4/5, maybe even higher. Aphra is a really well-written character with clear flaws, and the same goes for her supporting cast. Triple-Zero and BeeTee quickly became some of my favorite droids honestly, some of my favorite Star Wars characters in general. I also loved how much Vader appeared throughout the series since he’s easily my favorite character in Star Wars.
If I had to give one con for Aphra, I honestly can’t think of one right now. Really fun read from start to finish.
Can’t believe I sold my 4k GoT set all because I bought the show digitally. Now I prioritize physical over digital and have to get back some stuff I sold off. This is one of them, only need season 7 & 8 now!
Excited to have almost all of Law and Order SVU, first 3 seasons of Abbott Elementary, and first 5 seasons of the Office. Will be my first watch of the Office as well!
Ready to start my Spawn journey. Picked this up because McFarlane is my all time favorite Spider-Man artist. Hope I can read all 350+ issues before the year is over but I have sooo many other books to read as well.
Can’t find this book for a good price and really want to continue the series so I had to get issues #31-75 in single issue format. It sucks to not have the omni but hopefully one day they’ll reprint or the market drops a little. Surprisingly 44 issues only game out to $220 with issue #31 being the most expensive at $20 the rest being $4 each.
Been reading comics all year, and I’m finally making my return to reading books. Decided to jump back in with a collection of short stories to ease my way back in. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this book?
Book 1, 3, 5 need a reprint. Even better the market needs to drop!
