$400-600 Budget, which HP are you buying during current sale?

Why is it so hard to decide on just base model laptops? Why is it not simple to discern differences between models even when using the compare feature?

I use use zoom, web search, and play some very mild games like Civilization.

What to do with ends?

I just started learning, but can't find what the best practice is to do with the ends of weft yarn, either due to the end of the length or color changes. Do you just weave it in line crochet, cut the plies and lay over the top, just cut, end on the edges and weave up the sides, etc?

I took and old picture frame form the garage, added nails, and warped it. Plain weave, before I lerarn where to go from there.

Friend thinks obsessively and is sleep deprived. Searching for advice to get some peace.

How would you assist someone with obsessive thoughts, no specific thoughts, just thinks obsessively and is convinced there is no hope of sleep or peace? Says her brain just won't shut off. I have tried giving them different techniques and ideas I have used for years, but nothing seems to help. Part of the issue they have, in my opinion, is practice and acceptance, but they are losing their mind and I hope someone here can provide some new idea to pass along. I want for them the same peace I have. Thank you.

Resuable bag for scraps

Follow up: I just found some of the silicone bags at Walmart for a decent price and not in a pack of ten. I hate Walmart so much that I never think to look there for this sort of thing. Thank you all for your responses. Picture in the comments.

I'm looking for a reusable bag for lunch scraps. Something that can fold up and be put in my lunch box. The only container that I bring doesnt get emptied until long after the scraps are created. I have been using random bags from work, but they don't hold up and eventually get trashed. Anyone using anything that doesn't take up a ton of space and is relatively cheap? preferably doesn't come in a pack of ten, because I only need the one.

Short list: Cannondale Habit HT2 - Trek Roscoe 7 Gen 4 - Marin San Quentin 2

I appreciate any feedback. If you had to choose, which would it be? These were chosen by what brands are carried at the "local" bike shops and my budget. Any in my mind would be perfect, but is there something about one of the brands or models that puts it above the others?

The trails I have access to are very mild compared to what I suspect most of you ride. From my research, the most local and most often ridden probably only qualify as mountain bike trails because they are single track and the bike could get muddy. I don't plan to be doing any jumps, large climbs, fast descents, or much technical work because there simply isn't a lot of that around. Any I find will definitly not be the norm.

I'm a roadie looking for a bike to take out into the wooded trails when I don't have time for a long ride and in our mild winters when 15mph on the road freezes my hands.

Thank you. I can't wait to get off road and onto the trails.
