The airliner I just bought is a disappointment

The Toliss a320 is my first and only sim purchase regret...and I've been simming since 1988.

The clincher that sold me was the Toliss marketing line..."clearer cockpit using VR". NO! No it is not clearer at all...in fact it's inferior to the free Zibo 737.

The map light...a 10 sided circle. The cockpit texture....brand new. Zero wear and tear. Very unrealistic.

Compared to FF 777 300....I'm extremely disappointed.

In VR it's the most difficult plane to use.

Ninety dollars. That's a lot if was nice looking and worked nicely in VR. It's a silly high price for what I bought.

Dear YouTubers....you are not giving honest reviews.

Ninety. Good grief...

A simple example...

As an HSP I see and feel hostility and unkind people everywhere. Here is a simple example...

I walked into my favorite coffee shop and sat at a small table next to a gentleman that I've seen before he's maybe 60 years old my intuition is always told me that... he is a miserable angry man, I should have listened to my intuition!!

I realized that the table I chose was a bit wet from a previous customer. I simply asked the man at the table next to me ...can I please have that napkin if you're not using it? The man held up the napkin and exclaimed "this is mine".

Should I laugh I thought. I mean good grief how childish and possessive can you be to not want to give up a napkin. He had also ordered some food which arrived just a few minutes later with several napkins.

Of course I could have simply gotten up myself and got my own napkin but his was more convenient to get and surely he wouldn't mind giving me his napkin... I was absolutely wrong 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There was no softness in his response, no joviality, no apology.. like .'..sorry I'm using this"....it was simply he held up the napkin like a trophy " this is mine" how absolutely pathetic.

This is our world...hard and abrasive.

Time to smile and wave. ...and next time sit far far away from this little man.

Older expats...

A cautionary tale.... I am 75 years old and living in Thailand. All of a sudden...I'm all alone.

I worked as an engineer in the UK, Australia and USA. I retired at 60 to Mexico...then on to Vietnam...then Indonesia...and finally (?) Thailand.

Friends and family of my age have disappeared... dead, vanished or just don't want to stay in touch.

In the past 2 years...boom...they're gone. It's to be expected though. I had one schoolboy-days friend left...but mentally he is gone now too.

Nurture those friendships. Never take them for granted. Realize truly that this is an expats life, that we chose...

EDIT....

What I miss the most is saying this "...do you remember when we....".

Indoor plants

Indoor “garden“question...what indoor plant fertilizer do you use with good results? I think 9-3-6 plant fertilizer is best...but I see no such details on Thai plant food bottles.
