6 nights split Or 5 nights on 1 island.

Me and my wife are planning for 1st time ever visit. Would it be better split 6 nights (3 and 3) between St Thomas and St John or stay 5 nights on 1 island?

We’re sticking with our Marriott loyalty (Due to points and free night award) for the lodging but open to ideas. Also, is rental car a must? Or can this be achieved with e bike just to get around.

Thanks in advance!

To clarify of how I won 2 tickets for World Cup from Chase Sapphire

I deleted my previous post, so here’s to clarifying of how I got the prize and what I need to pay.

- As mentioned previously on my post, I booked dinner through Chase Dine experience.
- At the end of dine after I made the payment, the Hostess (she’s actually the General Manager) approached to informed and congratulated me for winning a pair of tickets for World Cup through Chase Sapphire and Visa ticket giveaway.
- The prize was $8500/person so total is $17k.
- Additionally, they will give 30% from the value to offset the tax.
- I have directly communicated with Chase Sapphire rep and they will send the tax form in the upcoming days.

So for non believers, thank you 🙏 😂 and for the supporters I wish you guys will have the same opportunity in the future!! 🤘

Edited: The Hostess was actually the General Manager of the restaurant.

Won a pair of World Cup ticket

I booked dinner to use the exclusive dine credit (booked through Open Table) and ended up won a pair World Cup ticket from Chase Sapphire Visa, I was shocked the ticket was $8500 a piece. Not sure if I should go due to I’m responsible for the fees and tax 😂

Edited: To clarify the credit is through Dine Credit not Edit, where you have to book through Open Table. The credit itself is $150 bi Annual or every 6 months.

Bikeflight insurance claim with positive experience

I just want to share my positive experience with BikeFlight.

I sold a bike through Facebook Marketplace, initially I only wanted to sell locally but a guy from out of state had the interest and willing to pay extra for shipping.

We agreed on price plus the cost of shipping. The shipping cost about $200 with insurance. Shipment took about 2 days via UPS.

Upon received and unboxed, he found a small crack on seat stay. We went over again on all pics posted on my ad which I took the day I posted and found no evidence of the crack before any shipping. We decided to contact Bikeflight for insurance claim.

The process is pretty easy, just ensure everything is well documented, from the picture of the bike before shipping, the packing process, show all the protective parts used, the pictures of bike box itself with the bike inside.

My buyer shipped the bike to Bikeflight with label provided by Bikeflight.

Once they received the bike, it’s about 5-7 business days for the reimbursement.

My advise for anyone who’s planning to ship a bike, ensure pack the bike 100% secured, document everything!

Bikeflight insurance

Has anyone here ever claim insurance with Bikeflight? How was the process and success story?

Here’s the storyline,

  1. Bike was sold on Facebook marketplace.
  2. Bike was shipped next day after payment received insured (Bikeflight used UPS).
  3. Bike received 2 days later, buyer stated there’s a crack.
  4. I filed claim same day, per Bikeflight any claim has to be submitted within 7 days.
  5. All documentation are submitted properly.

Here’s another issue, buyer doesn’t want to wait, so I offered him a refund once I received the bike back. He stated I have to refund 1st and he will ship back but I absolutely refused if anything what he claimed is false. I told him I will bring the bike for inspection to shop I bought it from since it’s under warranty.

Bike purchases for my spouse and all failed due to her lack of interest riding a bike 😂

Luckily, I’ve managed to re-sell all bikes with minimal loss!

Anyone here have the same problem with encouraging their partner on active lifestyle? I mean there are cheaper options too I.e walking😃

PS: We’ve been together for almost 20 years🙏

▲ 2 r/bidets

I’ve narrowed to Alpha JX2 / Soft Spa SB 9500 / Toto C5

Amazon has all 3 in which I can use some of my points to bring the price down.

Thoughts on the 3 I mentioned?
