I loved the concept of have a 6 episode season of a podcast, and every season being a different theme of crime. It was a really fresh take on True Crime podcasts, in my opinion.
But since Corinne's departure, the podcast has only been focusing on Reddit stories for some time now? Will it change concepts again ever? Or will it be only Reddit stories from now on?
I am reading Kingdom of Ash and Dorian is currently in Morath. This scene with Maeve is just so 🤌🏻. I was honestly kinda surprised by how clever, charming & calm Dorian was here. But then I thought back to TOG and I was like yeah this totally makes sense. I am just in awe of the comeback of his courtier self and how adept he is at it.
Hey guys, I've been going through the entirety of Massverse before the 3 new books come out. I have only 3 books left that are Empire of Storm, Tower of Dawn & Kingdom of Ash.
If anyone has the audiobooks of the first 2 books a share will be appreciated.
And digital libraries are not a thing in my country fyi
I'm half way through Queen of Shadows and Rowan is weird (?) I guess i don't like his vibe I have nothing more to say about that. The way he is acting with Aelin rn is not sitting right with me.
Does it get better?
My favourite kind of TS song is when she tells this whole story from the beginning of the song and then inserts herself or her name towards the end to give some kind of perspective or resolution to the story. The greatest example of this is Last Great American Dynasty -
Free of women with madness, their men and bad habits
And then it was bought by me
Then there is You are in love -
And you understand now why they lost their minds and fought the wars
And why I've spent my whole life tryin' to put it into words
Then there is Clara Bow -
You look like Taylor Swift
In this light
We're loving it.
If anyone can name more, I know there are more but I can't really recall all of them. Thanks for the help!
Edit: Manuscript is another song that fits. It starts with "she reads" & ends with "I re-read"
I was just listening to Father Figure and yes it also falls into this category. But I also noticed something else.
The song ends with "you remind me of a younger me...I saw potential" I think she is talking to herself with pride, that Taylor now reminds her of Taylor then, and she is talking about the potential she saw in herself. It just made me misty eyed so I thought I'd mention this.
