I've accounts in Meezan and HBL right now.

Problem is, Meezan's desktop website is broken. Log in often a PITA as I've to input my username/password several times to get logged in. No idea why that's the case but it is what it is.

And HBL has recently killed their desktop website. Their garbage mobile app is the only way a user can do online banking.

I'm done with local banks.

Now, I'm thinking about opening an account at Standard Chartered as it's a multinational bank and from what I've heard, they have an excellent app and desktop website.

But I'm open to suggestions.

I've a Xeon E3-1270 v3 (~i7-4790) CPU laying around. Just needs a motherboard as I already have RAM, drives, PSU, chassis, etc.

I need help with the motherboard choice in terms of overclocking.

The Xeon runs at 3.7 GHz all core and goes up to 3.9 GHz (3.5 GHz stock with 2/3/4/4 turbo bins).

Question is, would I be able to OC it to 3.9 GHz, all cores, on a Z97 (~$50-60)?

Also, I saw a couple of Asus Q87M-E motherboards going for cheap (~$30). I'm tempted to just get one of these boards as they're well made, their BIOS supports positive voltage offsets (overvolt), there's PCIe 3.0, and the boards come with 4x DIMMs.

I asked Gemini for input and it's convinced that these Asus Q87 boards support something called "ASUS MultiCore Enhancement" that allows a locked CPUs to push all cores up to peak boost (3.9 GHz, in our case).

Any former Haswell users here who would be kind enough to guide me? I've been looking everywhere (including various LLMs) but the information is sparse at best so any input would be appreciated.

Not looking for H81s (unless you want to give it away for dirt cheap). Only B85, Q85/Q87 or, God forbid, a reasonably priced Z97 because of PCI 3.0 and 4x RAM slots.

I was just watching this video from youtuber "random gming in hd" and the ps3 can't even maintain 30 fps in gta 5 at 720p, despite looking like poo.

it's mostly staying around 25 fps.

Funny thing is, I just got an old evga GT 440 from a scrap shop for 500 rupees and even that piece of crap graphics card can easily maintain 30+ fps in gta 5.

Are they really that scared of PCs that they would rather buy an ancient 20-somethin yaer old crappy console?

Just visits your f'ing scrap shop and pick up any pc they have. chances are, it'll still be faster than the ps3/360, lulz!
