Muhammad (pbuh)

Hi, a few minutes ago I learned the simplified version of Muhammad life. I respect his faith because you do not make great things like he did just because you lied. I'm still unsure of the fact that he is a prophet because I come from a Catholic family and community that doesn't like me studying Islam. They say it's useless reading the Qur'an. Today I read some verses of the Surah 2 and I find the start interesting. It says explicitly that the Qur'an is the book for the God-fearing, and that those who don't believe have a seal on their heart, if I remember correctly.

May you please teach me the religious interpretation of Muhammad (pbuh) life? And also, I saw "(saw)" and "(swt)" in Muslim quotes. What do they mean?

Joseph Smith

Hi. You might have seen my posts before. I wanted to ask you if you can tell me the story of Joseph Smith or your favourite part of it. I don't know it well because the only source I have for his story is from South Park

Questions

This Sunday maybe I'll go to Church. I wanted to ask what should I do during the mass and before/after entering/leaving. Because in the Catholic Mass you have to make the sign of the cross before entering and before leaving. There is a dress-code and if yes, what does it say?

News

Today I was drinking coffee - it's a tradition here in Italy to drink coffee in the morning - and I thought that if I want to follow the LDS Church, I cannot follow only the things I like, so I finally decided to give up coffee. I'm still unsure about the tea.

I asked my dad if I could go alone to Ravenna (the city with the nearest Mormon Church) using the train or bus and he said it's fine so I may go to a Mormon Mass.

LDS Church

I studied this Church with ex-mormon videos, searching on Google, reading the Book of Mormon and talking online with missionaries. I was raised Catholic and I'm catholic, but I found that the Book of Mormon is really helpful with my life.

I had a dream: in the dream I became a Mormon and after this I lived a happy life.

I don't know. I'm 15M right now

Question about practicing Yoga

Hi, I have a question about Yoga. Here in Europe (and all the west) yoga is seen only as gymnastics. How deep is it really is and also, does it replicate the poses of Hindu Gods/forms of Brahman? I heard it does but I'm not sure so I'm asking you

Learning more about Hinduism

Hi, I just want to ask you what else I should know about Hinduism.

I know that

  1. Brahman is the ultimate reality and an eternal essence

  2. Atman is the key for Moksha. Is identical to Brahman and is the soul of man

  3. Karma is the concept of consequences of our own action (positive, negative or neutral) and Is cumulative (like you have the Karma of your past life in this life)

I also know that

  1. Kama= satisfying the desire for a sense of pleasure

  2. Artha= acquisition of worldly possession or money

  3. Dharma= observance of religious duties

  4. Moksha= liberation achieved to God-relization

The God-relization is knowing that God exists and it can be achieved only if you experience God

Yoga is good and healthy if taught by a good teacher/expert

The word Hinduism came from Hindu, a Persian mispronunciation of Shindu, the river and border for Persian and the Arya

Church

Hi. I wanted to enter Orthodoxy from December 2025 to today and I have a question for you. When I enter an Orthodox church what should I do? Because I'm catholic at the moment I make the sign of the cross before entering and before leaving the Church. How does it work in the Orthodox Church, especially the Greek one.

My father may let me go to an Orthodox Church because I don't have a car, but I'm not sure because he always taught me to grow up Catholic. But if we go to an Orthodox Church, how should I behave? I know I MUST dress modestly, I already do it in (the Catholic) Church at mass

LDS Church Vs Orthodoxy

I'm a bit concerned because I studied for 8/9 months the Mormonism. It was cool, I talked to three Mormons online (WhatsApp) and started reading the Book of Mormon. I'm Catholic and aim to become Orthodox. But I found out that I'm attracted to their Church. I know they don't believe in the Trinity. Christianity without Trinity is not Christianity. Also their Eucharist and Water instead of wine don't convince me.

Help me to not fall into their beliefs, I want to follow God not the God that I'm comfortable with
